The Lord is speaking to us today about due season. The foundation scripture is found in (Gal 6:9) And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. There comes a point in time when it is due season. That means that the time for manifestation has come. When it is God’s timing, things happen. A long time ago, the Lord taught me the reasons for unanswered prayer.
1. Sin in your life
2. Lack of Knowledge
3. Not God’s timing
4. Lack of Obedience to God’s instructions (Acting on Word)
There are many prayers that have yet gone unanswered. There are many who have yet obeyed God. There are many with sin in their lives. There are even more who still have a lack of knowledge. For more than you think, it simply was not God’s timing. The Lord is speaking to so many today, that this is your due season. He said that you would reap, if you would not faint. Well, here it is. You have stood. It is your season. Is He telling your to again plant a seed and name it? This is your final act of Faith. Obey God and then just praise Him. For some He is telling you to forgive those who have wronged you. Even strife where you were not guilty, when you have unforgiveness, can lead you to bitterness and hate. Then you are the one in sin; the sin of unforgiveness. When you started out in the right, you let it fester until it became something else and you became the “guilty” one then.
He said in (Deu 28:12) The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. Water represents the Holy Spirit. This is a literal interpretation and also a Spiritual Interpretation. The literal translation says rain unto the land in His season. He is talking about just the right amount of rain on your crops and on your fields. He is also talking about no flooding or drought. He is talking about receiving just the right amount of water to keep you in drinking water and running water for all of your household and business needs. This prophetic word is also speaking of rain on your crops spiritually speaking. Your crops are everything good that is coming into your life since Jesus. The rain represents the life of the Holy Spirit. As the rain brings life back into your lands, the Holy Spirit brings life back into your spirit man.
Read in (Pro 15:23) A man hath joy by the answer of his mouth: and a word spoken in due season, how good is it! This scripture is talking about speaking the Word in due season. That due season happened when Jesus paid the ultimate price for our sins. The due season that you are to again speak His Word is right now! Please read In (Amos 3:7) Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets. The Lord is revealing some new things to you. It is due season! He is quickening some things to you. Is He telling you to do something in faith? Obey Him. Gain your release. Act on the Word of God. It is due season.
In this next scripture, it is talking about the day of the Lord. The day of the Lord is when Jesus returns. It can also indicate when a person’s time is up. I saw a movie by T. D. Jakes tonight, called “Woman, Thou Art Loosed.” In this movie, a young girl was molested by her mother’s boyfriend beginning at age 10. The stepfather was a pervert from the beginning, but the Mother chose to believe the boyfriend and not the girl.
She ended up running away from home as early as possible ending in drugs and prostitution. The night she went to church to give her heart to the Lord, she saw that very stepfather at the altar crying. She pulled out a gun and killed him. The movie ended with Jakes hearing her ask God to forgive her. My point is that time ran out. He missed his chance to be forgiven and start over. There comes a day when the Lord says that your time is up. You have no more changes. That day of the Lord does come as a thief in the night. (1Th 5:2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
It is miracle time. It is signs and wonders time. (Act 2:19) And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: (Act 2:20) The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come.
The Lord is clearly speaking to you right now. Things are changing. Take a look at the Jewish feasts of the fall season. When He blesses the Jewish, He blesses the Church as well. He is speaking that we are to expect the move of God. This is His season for some special “And (Sudden-lies).” (Joh 6:18) And the sea arose by reason of a great wind that blew. (Joh 6:19) So when they had rowed about five and twenty or thirty furlongs, they see Jesus walking on the sea, and drawing nigh unto the ship: and they were afraid. (Joh 6:20) But he saith unto them, It is I; be not afraid. (Joh 6:21) Then they willingly received him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land whither they went.
In life, make no mistake. There are winds that come in our lives that will cause some turbulence at times. Things may seem really nice, peaceful and all is at rest.; then the winds begin to blow causing challenges for us to overcome. Jesus can send winds for us to enjoy and walk in His promises. I call them busy at the “walk” winds because they blow nicely when you are walking in faith. However, satan will take it further. It is kind of like our weather reports. It can be windy and it can be still. There are times when the weather report is a windstorm, a tornado, or a hurricane. These are from the enemy. John 10:10 the thief cometh not but for to steal, to kill and to destroy. I have come that they might have life and have it more abundantly. These are the times where faith is required most and our trust in the Lord is tested. These are times that reveal whether or not we will stay and abide in that place of rest, peace and faith in God's ability to keep things. All things are in His hands.
Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.—I Peter 5:7
Casting our care upon Him, will enable us to stay in Him through any winds that blow. As we cast our cares upon Him, He is then able to be our helper, our strength and our very present help. Ps 46:1, Heb 13:6. Our security is only found in the Word of God and every promise that we choose to accept in faith.
Can You See Jesus?
When things begin to break loose, things are moving. There is activity and maybe even possibly chaos all around. This is the time (above all times) that we must “see” Jesus. In the middle of the raging seas and the high winds, the disciples were able to see Jesus. I can agree that just that would be overwhelming. Yet, we have to keep our eyes on the lesson that is He has for us to possess for our walk of faith. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He and His Word are the same, interchangeable as you study the Word of God. Jesus was the Word made flesh and dwelt among us. (John 1:14).
When the disciples watched Jesus walking on the water, they were seeing the possibility of the Word walking on the water. That is your faith walk today. Are you ready to step out of the boat? Don’t look around you at the circumstances. They are the raging problems that satan has manufactured all around you. Greater is He that is in you than He that is in the Word. He has given you power to tread over scorpions and serpents and over all of the power of the enemy. (Luke 10:19)
When you are out in the boat, you must first invite Jesus into your boat. You do that by thanking Him for being there and in total control of everything around you. Then you keep your eyes upon Him when He invites you to walk out to meet Him. It is then you will “walk on water’ which of course represents our faith walk today. We must walk out the walk, claiming the promises of Jesus, standing on them, speaking them, teaching them, meditating on them, cherishing them, and witnessing them come into manifestation. You can know that it is “due season.” Go ahead and do what He is telling you to do.
Jesus is responsible to confirm the Word with signs following (Mark 16:20). We are responsible to stand on the promises looking always unto Him only. Looking unto Jesus who is Author and Finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the Cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.—Hebrews 12:2 Avoid those distractions that would cause you to look around at the weather. That is when you falter. That is when you let satan seem bigger than the Jesus in you.
As you begin this faith walk, don’t look around you at what may be blowing up. Look only unto Him. Keep your eyes on Him. When you feel sick, keep your eyes, your mind and your spirit, thanking God for His healing promises in your life. When you need a financial miracle, keep your eyes on His promises of prosperity and provision. Don’t look around at the battle raging. That is when you begin to sink. Keep your eyes on Him.
"Then they willingly received Him into the ship: and immediately the ship was at the land where they went."—John 6:21
When we totally yield, surrender and receive the Lord, there is always a miracle. He then confirms His Word in you. When you call upon Him, He is there. His presence gets the job done every time.
The blessing of the Lord makes one rich and He adds no sorrow to it. This means that just by having the Lord smack dab in the middle your life there comes increase.
Take His hand. He will walk you to your destination of walking by faith.
We are living in this last day a season of the great and suddenlies. It is time for you to walk upon the water and suddenly… He is going to finish that sentence with your miracle! God is accelerating His work in your life and He is bringing us into His plan. He is ready. He is about to blow us away. He is pouring out His abundance. (John 10:10). This is His last days. He wants us to line up with His will. So step out of the boat and invite Him to come to you as you go meet Him walking on the water in faith. It is due season.
Just as suddenly as the Holy Ghost came and filled that room, He is about to bring in your miracle. It is due season. (Act 2:2) And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. (Act 9:3) And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:(Act 16:26) And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed. (Act 22:6) And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.
It is due season! Obey what He is telling you to do. Some He is telling to give a vow of faith. Some He is telling you to forgive. Some He is telling you to stand. Some to speak His Word in obedience and some the tell of His wonderful grace.
In Him,

(Acts 6:4) But we will give ourselves continually to prayer and to the ministry of the Word.
