Vulnerable And Broken

Beloved:
It is through your vulnerability and brokenness that I can do an even deeper work in you. The world would see these as a deficit, but I say to you that they are essential in your life. Through your insecurities and need you find me. Through your vulnerability you realize your constant reliance upon my presence. When you are broken and contrite before me you are simply irresistible to me. It is in times like this that I encourage you to come and wait upon me, come and be still and listen. Quiet your soul, and submit yourself unto me, for I am a God who does not disappoint, nor do I turn you away. But truly I invite you to my table to dine of my presence, and to taste and see that I am good. I know there are many things that press you from every side, and many more demands on your time. But it is in my strength alone that you will find what you need to get through your busy days. For I would also say to you this day my Beloved that there are many challenges before you and with each new challenge will come a new degree of my presence to see you through. Your job is to come and be still before my throne of grace.
Come and wait upon me and be strengthened. As you are still I will speak to you, I will impart to you, and I will mantel you afresh and anew with my very presence. I look for a people who would let me rest in them. Those who would seek me early, those who would put me first in their lives. I long for these people. In the days ahead I encourage you to consecrate yourself even further. I encourage you to truly live a fasted life, yes a fasted life. Set aside your flesh for me, it is after all your reasonable service. See if I will not meet you afresh and anew with new favor from on high. I long to promote my people, but there is a cost. I long to use you in this hour, but there is a cost. The cost is total commitment, total consecration, to totally be sold out. Are you there yet? Do you truly want to be there? Ask me and I will make you willing to be totally committed and consecrated. I will touch your heart with even a greater longing for me. I will cause such a hunger to mount up within that you will become consecrated. This is not a light thing I say to you, that I challenge you with this day. Think this over, pray it over and prepare your heart and then watch what I will do in you. Be blessed this day my Beloved One and know that I am with you at all times. Be assured with my confidence that I am yours and you are mine and I do love you with an ever lasting love.
