The Wave Of God’s Spirit

Isaiah 51:15 For I am the LORD your God, who churns up the sea so that its waves roar— the LORD Almighty is his name.
Matthew 8:23-27 Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Without warning, a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!"
It is 2:57am on Monday morning July 14th, 2008. The Lord has roused me from my sleep and He has placed a message within my Spirit to send out to all who may have a heart to receive it. What I heard in the Spirit was this “I am sending a wave of my Spirit to this nation the train has already started down the track, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.” The wave that has landed on our shores and is about to engulf every home, every town, every city and every state in this great union will be a wave of cleansing, repentance, healing and restoration.
A great storm has been brewing in this nation since the early 1960’s and the spirit of selfishness, independence and self-sufficiency have worked to deceive the hearts of many, even those who claim Jesus Christ to be their Lord and Savior. Who claim him to be the El Shaddai of their lives (the Lord God Almighty who is all sufficient). There is a quiet desperation that has settled on the hearts of many within this nation in what is known as “the Middle Class” , and they have entered into a season of restless nights and fearful anxiety of what may come upon them at any moment. They have been traveling on a ship called “The American Dream” and the wind has gone out of its sails. The ship has now gone off course and its destination is unknown to them because they have become overwhelmed by the storms of their daily lives, and a sense of hopelessness has become their bedfellow. They have sown the wind and reaped a whirlwind of busyness, stress, financial debt and family brokenness.
What the enemy has been using to bring chaos and destruction to the heart of this nation will now be used by God to launch a new ship called “America’s Destiny”. There will be furious storms of all kinds, and their waves will sweep over the boat, and it will rouse the heart of His people to seek Him and pray like they have never prayed before. There has already been a “Jesus 911” heart cry that has gone out because the intercessors have seen the storms that are coming within their spirit. It is time to get right with God, it is time to get real about Jesus. It is time to stop sacrificing our children at the altar of Baal and allowing perversions of all kinds to exist within our homes and society as if they were a normal way of life. Jesus said that we should be holy as He is holy. He said that the greatest commandment and calling on our lives was to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength. If we are truly committed to submitting ourselves to this then loving our neighbors will happen by default. If we commit to loving God more then anything in this world then there will be nothing on this earth for us to fear, and there will be nothing in this world that can offend us or separate us from His love, and the love He has for His people, and even His enemies. Jesus said that if we seek ye first His Kingdom and His righteousness that all other things that we need will be provided for us.
It is time for God’s people to look to El Shaddai, the Lord Almighty who is all sufficient, to meet our needs. It is time to seek His heart in asking that He calm the storms in our individual and collective lives. It is time that we submitted to His will in becoming the unified body that He has prayed that we would be in John 17:20-26, and allow Him to truly become the Lord of all that we are and all that we have.
It is time to remember what is proclaimed in Psalm 24:1-10
The earth is the LORD's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it upon the seas and established it upon the waters. Who may ascend the hill of the LORD ? Who may stand in his holy place?
He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up his soul to an idol or swear by what is false. He will receive blessing from the LORD and vindication from God his Savior. Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah
Lift up your heads, O you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates; lift them up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in. Who is he, this King of glory? The LORD Almighty— he is the King of glory. Selah
The greatest movement of God’s Spirit that the world has ever known is already making its way to a home, a town and a city near you. It is right at the door. Jesus said seek and you will find, ask and you will receive, knock and the door will be opened to you. Seek Him now in humility that he may judge your heart rightly, ask Him to have mercy on you who are a sinner, knock at the door of your destiny and see if He does not pour himself out like a drink offering into your spirit that you may become the spring of living water he promised you would be for His glory.
John 4:13-14 Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life."
