The Ghost Is Homeless Right Now And Looking For A Dwelling Place In The Nations!

The Ghost is homeless, Who will Host The Ghost Today?

One of the first words that I ever released on Emerge Update is the word that I have pasted below Called 'Will God find a place to rest His head in these days?' I released this word over two and a half years go after I received an encounter where God showed me that He was homeless and seeking a place that He could call His home right now in the nations. I believe this word although it is simple prophetic exhortation carries a message which is just as timely and as relevant now as at the time I released it.

The Precious Holy Ghost is once again visiting these shores, longing to set His people ablaze, these Isles on fire and release the promised revival of His Glory but more importantly than that He has come seeking a home. This afternoon I received an encounter where I saw the Lord swirling like a vortex throughout the U.K looking for a people who are desperate enough for Him that they would ditch everything else that He might have a place to rest. God is offering this generation the greatest opportunity to Host the Holy Spirit than we have had in our times. Sometimes the slot of opportunity in meetings and regions to see Him come and do something extraordinary opens and closes real quick and before we know it the moment is gone, opportunity once lost is gone forever. Right now we have an opportunity in the U.K to see the visitation of the Lord turn into a great habitation and an abiding of His Glory which will never end and cause the coming of Jesus to be mightily speeded up. We have become great in the U.K at hosting events, facilitating conferences, making sure that man is accommodated and honored, thinking up new ways, formulas and programs which will cause rapid church growth and have spent countless hours striving to create natural means which will keep religious fires burning in the land, but who's accommodating Him, who is striving right now to create an environment not conducive to the needs of man but for His needs and His desires? He is swirling right now looking for a place to rest His head, looking for a home and a habitation which suits His needs. For those who open up the doors of their hearts, homes and churches to Him they will have the greatest privilege ever afforded to man, the privilege of Hosting the precious Ghost of Heaven, He is so wonderful, He doesn't want to force, push or muscle His way in although He could easily do that, He wants to be invited, longed for and welcomed warmly as a precious guest.

I'm fed up right now of attending services where He isn't honored, I've had enough of religious structures that squeeze Him out and contending with religious inflexible wineskins that refuse to budge even though the reward is great, I've attended too many meetings where the Dove visits only to have to quickly leave because He realizes that although people are talking about Him and singing to Him that really the reality is that He isn't wanted. We at Emerge have given ourselves afresh in these days to seeking with all of our might and ability to Host the Ghost. We stopped playing church games a good while ago now and have our hearts fixed on one thing and one thing alone 'Seeking Him and giving ourselves for Him UNTIL He comes.' I believe that right now in the U.K the opportunity which the Lord is giving us is so unusual and so precious that we would be fools to not respond with all that is in us. I believe that right now WHEREVER we are in the U.K that if we are hungry and thirsty for Him, are willing to ditch our programs and cry out for Him, that He will come in a way that will not only astound but will rewrite the history books. I'm confident right now that wherever there are gatherings of the Hungry in these days that these will see powerful manifestations of Gods Glory, why? Because He has come once more, He is moving in the nation and is seeking a resting place, a habitation, a home, a place where He can settle and a platform for the greatest Glory Invasion the U.K will ever see. I saw in the Spirit today that God ultimately wants to cover the nations in His Glory canopy. The way that nations are transformed is when there are enough Hot Spots scattered across the nation and enough fires burning that a whole nation is covered in Glory. We are about to see region after region across the U.K respond to Him and become Glory spots, apostolic centers will quickly be established and so many areas will burn that the nation will soon be totally ablaze. If as a nation we fully embrace His gift right now then there will be enough of the resting of His presence that a whole nation will be covered and filled with His Glory.

I was at a meeting recently in Wales where I experienced something which totally shocked me. As the worship was taking place the sweet sweet Dove of heaven descended, the presence of His Glory was so strong and a beautiful window of opportunity opened very briefly for habitation to be released in a wonderful way. Very rarely have I seen such a vivid grace be given for something so eternal to be released. At that point the program needed to be ditched, the agenda ripped up and a deep hearts cry released so that He realized that He surely was wanted, welcome and loved. The slot of opportunity lasted about three minutes, as quickly as He had come to release His Grace He left as the wineskin was too rigid to bend and allow heaven to invade, all we were then left with was a religious shell, another hour of what looked spiritual but really was a white washed tomb full of dead and decayed bones. I never want to be in a gathering like that again, opportunity once lost is gone forever! So Pastors say, what is the answer? Glad you asked. Get hungry, get desperate, release the hungry to cry out, step out of the religious shadows, be willing at any point to ditch all programs, make making Him a home your ultimate goal even if it means offending all, after all do we really want Him to come or not? When He come love on Him, honor Him, tell Him how precious you know that He is and cry out for Him to remain. We are so desperate right now to see Him come and remain, our cry right now is COME LORD JESUS COME! SUBMITTED IN LOVE, DAVE

Will God find a place to rest His head & a home in Wales in these days?

There is such a nearness of Gods heavy weighty presence in these days, Some days I have been getting so overcome by Gods Glory that I have had to spend hours of the day lying down incapable of doing anything. I recently have found God compelling me to pray that just as the Holy Spirit came on Jesus and remained on Him that He would come on us and remain.

There is a heavy ABIDING Glory that God wants to release in these days that will cause transformation not just to us but all those we come into contact with. Myself and Justin have had 2 powerful encounters with the Lord recently that have resulted in fruit outside of the encounters. As a nation we have sent up a hundred years of powerful prayer and intercession since the last revival which has filled a bowl in heavenly places that God is wanting to release upon us in these days. The results of the outpouring of this will bring transformation not just to this nation but also to Europe.

Four days ago God spoke to me clearly and said "Many people are praying for revival but who is preparing a place for me to come?" Suddenly the realization came to me that prayer is very important but just as important as prayer is the preparing of a place so that the answer to prayer can be released and sent by the Lord. The following day I spent in Gods presence and I saw a series of visions where I was stood with the Lord and we were outside different churches, some of which I knew, we could see inside where people were praying fervently for revival yet in each place the Lord walked past because he had found "no place to rest His head," I could feel the disappointment that the Lord felt, it was almost as if He was a fugitive looking for a home and no-one would take Him in.

This helped to clear something up for me because when I woke up Saturday morning the Lord said to me that He wanted to change the word "Welcome" in Wales, that morning I went to Prophecy school in Cardiff and as you walk in there is a board with a list of different languages all saying "welcome." I wondered what the Lord meant that he wanted to change the word "welcome " in Wales. The Lord drew my attention to 2 Kings chapter 4 where a notable women made a room for Elisha to stay. It wasn't enough for the woman to have the man of God come in for an occasional visit and then pass by, she wanted him to stay, she wanted habitation not just an occasional visit. The women stopped all she was doing to prepare a nice room for the man and then compelled him to come in, the result of this was that once the man of God was with her she had his attention and there was no need for her to ask of him but he asked her what she wanted.

In Wales at the moment I see a lot of churches who are fervent in changing their programs and structure in an earnest bid to create an environment where people will find comfort and rest in a bid to swell church figures and in some way bring change to the locality, but my question is who is preparing a place for God? Who wants God in their lives and church so bad that they are willing to suffer the natural inconvenience of restructuring their stuff in order to build a room for God to dwell. If we are not careful we will build something that looks so appealing to natural man and is so conducive to mans needs that in it all we reject what is important to Gods heart and fail in it to meet His needs.

In Revelation 3 Jesus was knocking on the door of the church in the hope that someone would open to Him so that He could find a resting place where He could eat and drink with His Beloved. I believe that we are coming into a season of church change where there will be an Apostolic building which will be evident for all to see but even this will be built according to the plans of heaven and will be presence based and will always attract the attention of heaven. We need to be careful at this time is that in our desire to see community change we don't build a home which is acceptable to man but offensive to God. Only a few years ago there was a massive prayer incentive that went up for REVIVAL in Wales, we prayed for and received words that Wales would be a wildfire nation and would see a significant move of God that would transform the nation and nations. At a time when now I believe we are about to see the fulfillment of that it would be a tragedy if we built with human hands something that doesn't prepare a place where God is welcome so that He can fulfill His promise. God doesn't want to give us plan B in these days I believe the heart of God is still passionate about total transformation of this nation through a move of His Spirit which will cause signs and wonders to be common and regional transformation normal, but who will prepare a place for Him to come?

Yesterday the weight of this word was all over me and I spent the day broken before God. He wants Wales to be His home, He wants to INHABIT Wales, He is looking for a people who are hungry enough to prepare a room for Him. There will always be a cost to this but the cost will always be worth it. God wants to be with us in these days, do we want Him with us? If so lets prepare a place for Him, lets as a nation extend a warm Welsh welcome to King Jesus and let Him know that there is a "Welcome in the hillsides and valleys," reserved especially for Him.
