God Wants To Position You For Healing And Visitation

(I got Healed last Night In Albany)

The worship feels like you're in heaven. The presence of the Lord is delightful. The focus is all upon Jesus. These are my impressions of the revival meetings that I've attended in Albany, Oregon recently. Last night I went forward for healing during the ministry time, thinking that the Lord was going to heal my breathing (I've been diagnosed with asthma recently). Immediately that I reached the front it felt like the gift of tongues was being sucked out of my mouth by a vacuum cleaner. I couldn't stop praying in tongues. Later as I stood there, an African woman started praying for me, laying her hands on my hands palm to palm. As she did this I felt a deep heat move through the right side of my chest. When she moved away it stopped. I called her back and as soon as she did it again the heat started again. When it had finished, I knew that something was different inside. I felt a new strength inside my chest area and it was then that I realized that God had healed me.

Later as I testified to someone about it, I remembered that it was five years ago to the day, that I'd had a minor heart attack. I had another one five days later and it resulted in me having to have surgery. Two stents were put into my arteries on the right side of my chest to open them up. There's no way for me to check this without having an angiogram, which I'm not going to do, it's just one of those things that you know that you know. That's what I believe God healed. I still believe there's a degree of healing to come as my heart itself, as far as I know, hasn't been fully healed. There was apparently scarring on the back of it. Who knows, God may just heal it completely this week.

Last night when thinking about what happened, I felt the Lord share with me that it was a sovereign thing that He had done. As you may know, five is the number of grace and redemption. Why did God chose to do it then? Why did God choose an African to be the conduit for it?

The time when I had the heart attacks, was when the Lord was calling me into a ministry for a season, that would help to bring healing and reconciliation between Liverpool, Africans and African Americans, which I called “The Amazing Grace Tour”. I believe God is telling me that the reason healing happened now is because “what the devil meant for harm and tried to stop, He is redeeming, through the very descendants of the people I was sent to". Don't ask me why He chose to do it that way!

Maybe I'm making too much of it but I don't think so. Jesus healed a man who had been sick from birth, but He chose a certain time and place to heal him so that God's glory would be revealed. He could have done it sooner but He didn't.

I also feel that the Lord wants to speak something to us prophetically to us and it's this. Position yourself for healing and visitation! Five years to the day God caused me to be in the right place at the right time. He can do the same for you. Get to a place where God is pouring out His Spirit. There are many hot spots opening up all over the place now, it's not just in Florida. There are going to be more. Don't miss out on your day of visitation.

As a little visual aid, as well as a tongue in cheek reason for me to show you a goal from Britain's most successful football club, I want to share with you my favorite goal of all time. It came during the 7-0 thrashing of Tottenham by Liverpool some years ago. It was the seventh goal, the number of perfection, and involved just five touches of the ball. The scorer was in the perfect position, to score the perfect goal, at the perfect time. God wants to put you in the perfect position to receive your healing and visitation, in the perfect place, at the perfect time. God wants to score many more goals like this in many stadiums all over the world. He will.
