Guarding Flame

In this dream, I was on a journey into a high mountainous region with a group of others. We were driving a black car. There was a little girl named ‘flame’ who was entrusted into our care. We had to take her to an unknown destination. But our destination let us up into very steep, high, dangerous (in the natural) places. At times the road we were driving on got very narrow and winding. It took all our effort to stay on the path.

Flame was a beautiful child. She had long wavy golden red- blonde hair. She was well-behaved. She never caused problems or got restless like most children, along this difficult long journey. She was very polite, and when we had to stop for whatever reason along the way, she would just smile and say ‘that’s ok. ’ She just had a tendency to wander off, however, as if she had her ‘own’ agenda, and in a way, she was taking US on a journey! She loved to sit on a hillside, and gaze into the distance, into the fields. She would often wander off into these very fields. Yet, we were instructed to guard and protect her.

It seemed like in this journey we had lots of detours. We were targets of the enemy, and lots of time we had to make unexpected ‘detours’ in our journey. Once, while driving, we were stopped by some sort of creature that looked like half gorilla. He made us get out of the car, and he searched our car, and even the trunk. I quickly jumped out of car and hid with Flame behind a grove of trees. We were safe. The gorilla gave up and let us continues on our journey, which was getting progressively high and higher in the mountains.

Oh how I loved Flame. I because so attached to her, as if she were my own daughter. She was a delight to be with. Once we had to hide out in a ‘camp’ that had a souvenir shop. Flame came inside with me. Suddenly I realized that Flame was also looking at the jewelry, and every piece of jewelry she touched turned to the appearance of fire! Whatever manner of ‘gem’ she touched would instantly turn to a bright amber/gold/red/orange in appearance. Each one appeared as a small flame of fire, yet was different than the one next to it. Each was unique, lovely in itself. They were breathtaking in appearance.

I was fascinated by these ‘flame’ gems. I wanted to purchase them all! I was trying them on. I knew I needed one of these as a remembrance with my time with Flame! So I picked up my favorite one, and tried to put it around my neck. To my frustration and dismay, I could not get it fastened myself! It seemed like something was wrong with the fastener on the necklace! So I asked Flame to help me. She seemed delighted to! As soon as her hands touched the fastener, it instantly became secure and fastened securely.

It was as if ‘Flame’ was now around my neck as well as next to me, and close to my heart as well!

I then woke up from the dream, sad I couldn’t know the ending, but I just had such an immense love for Flame in my heart! I loved her as if she was my own daughter! How I wanted to go back and revisit her in this dream!

Interpretation:
God is still revealing truths from this dream but the biggest revelation is how much I loved Flame! Flame represents His refining fire, His purity. He is calling us to EMBRACE, to love, to adore His flame of passion, of love, and refinement. We are not to shun or grieve the work of refinement by His Flame, but to embrace her, to protect her, to give her freedom to do her ‘work’ yet to also cherish, to protect her, to not allow her to be grieved.

It is interesting why God would allow His spirit to be personified as a female. To some religious people, this would seem blasphemous. Yet, we were all, male and female, were created in the image of God. The Holy Spirit has a ministry comparable to a mother’s ministry on earth. He nourishes, He comforts, He lovingly guides and protects, and He gets grieved easily.

Why was ‘Flame’ a child? Jesus said unless we humbled ourselves and became as little children, we would not enter the kingdom of God. In my dream, while Flame was a very obedient, compliant child, she had a certain reckless abandonment in her spirit. She was not afraid. She was grieved when we tried to contain her, for her mission was to ‘seal’ and turn ordinary, daily things into fire. She loved to put ‘tokens’ of His spirit around peoples neck, and to adorn them with His flame perfect love.

Why were we driving a black car? Scripture talks about the hidden treasures of darkness. (Isaiah 45:3) Flame was a true treasure, yet we hid her in our vehicle (our temple, our body, our personal ministry)

Why did Flame love to set gems on fire? Why could only she fasten the necklace with the flaming pendant around my neck? He calls us his ‘gems, His workmanship’ (Malachi 3:17, Ephesians 2:10)

Are we proudly displaying His ‘flame’ to the world around our necks (Necks in the world represent the will) Or do we fear what will happen if we give ‘Flame’ full freedom to work through us, to take us where she wants us to, to touch everyone and everything THROUGH US, to light them with the fire of His purity and set them on fire for us?

Church, it is time to truly fall in love with His flame!

“And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption” Ephesians 4:30

My Bride Come Dancing With Me On My Mountain

Lillis Boyer and Sylvia Deall

The Bride: You have made my feet like hind's feet

And you've made me to run on high places with You

You’ve made us to leap and dance on the mountain tops

I will run and not be weary

I will run and not faint

My feet are sure and steady

And I shall not fall!

Jesus: I’ve made your hearts strong, beloved

I’ve made your lungs to breathe that rarified air

Of the high places

For I made you for those high places

For the mountain tops

To leap and dance there

With Me!

I’m the air you breathe

I’m your heartbeat

I am the dance you dance there!

Dance, my beloved on the mountain top

Joy is made full there

In the dance on the mountaintop

Victory is sure there

In the dance of the Lord.

The Bride: I was made for the mountain

The mountain of the lord

I was meant to dance on the mountain

The mountain of My lord

Dancing on the mountain makes my heart stronger

I can breathe deeper

I find my strength

On your mountain

I breathe fresh air

I am revived!

Jesus: My bride, you need the air on this mountain

Dancing on my mountain

Prepares you for the valleys below

It makes your heart strong

It makes it beat faster

For as we dance we go higher and higher

From pinnacle to pinnacle

Where the air becomes purer and purer

Into the mountains

The uncharted places

Into secret places

New places in Me.

The Bride: Purified by Your fire we climb and we dance

Purified by fire we can see Your face

On the mountain, Your holy mountain

We climb

We run

We dance

Victory is on your mountain!
