What is your Daily Golden Footprint for today?

You are about to see an anointing of God's favor. 2008 will be a year of God's favor expressed to His body. This is a year of new beginnings. This is the year that you will see family members saved. You will see more accomplished in your ministry than ever before. You will see a greater anointing on everything that you do for the Lord. You will see greater provision and greater opportunities. There are some things that you have grown weary in well-doing. You will pick yourself up and go again now. His favor is on it. You will see God's people in a position of favor as never before. Expect something special. You are special.

There are some people today that God is speaking to specifically about rising out of famine. You are to sow a seed today. Sow in your famine. In the midst of your lack, God is saying for you to step out in faith and give. Give in your famine and He is going to restore a hundredfold in this same year. I believe that you have blessings coming before the first of January. (Genesis 26:12) Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

Because this is a year of an anointing of favor, we need to build our faith in that area by seeing what the Word says about favor. To fulfill His purpose on the earth, God has given His favor. Here is some faith-food on favor. He is no respecter of persons. What He has done for one He will do for another. He doesn't play favorites, except for His kids over the world's kids. (Acts 10:34) Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons .

When He chose an earthly mother for Jesus, He sent His favor to accomplish His will on earth. (Luke 1:28) And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favored, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women. When He desires to accomplish His will of the earth, He sends His favor. He saves, heals and delivers through His people today as they pray and act on the Word of God. That is His favor in action.

When Joseph was in the prison, God gave him favor. In Potiphar's house, He gave him favor. When Pharoah placed Joseph over Egypt, He had the favor of God.

His whole story was a type and shadow of God's favor on believers today.

(Genesis 39:21) But the LORD was with Joseph, and showed him mercy, and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison.

(Exodus 3:21) And I will give this people favor in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty:

Samuel had the favor of God on his life. This is another type and shadow of the favor on today's believers to do the will of God in the earth.

(1 Samuel 2:26) And the child Samuel grew on, and was in favor both with the LORD, and also with men.

Esther had favor on her life. She saved all of her people. This is another type and shadow of God's favor again for today's believers. It is a story to show us how one person can make a difference in their world.

(Esther 2:15) Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she required nothing but what Hegai the king's chamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Esther obtained favor in the sight of all them that looked upon her .

We are promised that favor will create a shield of protection for us.

(Psalms 5:12) For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

Salvation by faith brings you into that position of favor.

(Proverbs 8:35) For whoso findeth me findeth life, and shall obtain favor of the LORD.

In this proverb, a good man represents a man who has been washed in the blood, saved by the work of Calvary. That is the only goodness. It represents salvation and obedience to the Word of God. (Proverbs 12:2) A good man obtaineth favor of the LORD… In Deuteronomy 30:19, we were told to "choose life and blessing or death and cursing." Our choices in life will bring upon us God's favor or not.

His rightstanding brings favor. (Proverbs 14:9)… Among the righteous there is favor.

One more thought about favor…. When we approach each situation in faith, we should approach it with the attitude of favor. It is how you look at things that can cause you to walk in favor or not. A favor attitude is a faith attitude. (Proverbs 23:7) For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he... Look at whatever circumstances there are with a correct attitude. "I am walking into this with the favor of the Lord on me. Therefore, I can't help but come out a winner." When we act on the Word, we are filled with favor and the church is built daily.

(Acts 2:47) Praising God, and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved. (+Mark 16:20)

God is definitely moving in a Spirit of Favor in 2008. There is a special anointing of favor coming on His children who will obey Him. You will see more accomplished in the name of Jesus than you ever imagined as you are obedient to His Word this year. Amen?

A Bonus Word:

Have you asked God what kind of gift that you are supposed to give to His ministers; (your pastor, your evangelist, your teacher, your Prophet or anyone who has fed you Spiritually) this Christmas? He /she may have sought God all year in your behalf. He/she probably prayed for you and your family daily. He/She has resisted the enemy in your behalf. He/She has sacrificed for you. He/She has been there to answer your calls for help whenever you needed him/her. I ask again, have you asked God what you are supposed to give to His/Her minister as their Christmas Present this year? Give as unto the Lord.

This would be a good time to tell them thank-you.
