Part 1
Bob Jones prophesied that the season we are now coming into will be known as "The Return of the Glory" years. God is coming back - His weighty glory is going to come upon some like a cloud. The next years will be marked by this increase of glory. Some will literally shine with light. Others will walk into restaurants and people will cry under conviction. This will lead to a harvest over a billion young people. The over fifties will father this movement (they are the Joshua generation) and will help the young ones learn from their mistakes. At times a million young people will gather at a single meeting. This flame will spread all over the place and be marked by miracles, signs and wonders. A whole generation of new Christians will arise in the glory realm. The harvest will be massive. Rick Joyner says this...
"The magnitude of this harvest will ultimately astonish even the most optimistic believers. Congregations of less than a 100 will be adding a thousand believers a week for periods of time. Meetings that being spontaneously will stir entire cities until they fill the largest stadiums night after night. Previously popular sport events will be abandoned in many regions for a lack of interest. Whole towns with populations of thousands, will swarm upon neighbouring towns to evangelise them. The news media will be dominated by the harvest until they have fanned the flames throughout the world. News teams will follow apostles like national leaders, recording great miracles which will be shown with unabashed enthusiasm..."
For several weeks now I've been meditating on the glory. Since I was a little kid I've loved the Holy Spirit (the Spirit of Glory). When I was seven in bed my mum was sang over me in the Spirit and I received a powerful baptism. I didn't fully understand what had happened until I was 18 when He came again. For a year I was visited every night by the Holy Spirit and spent most of the time crying. I kept praying over and over "Make me hungry, make me hungry!". From that time I was fully addicted to Him and nothing else would do. I am addicted to the Highest pleasure. I am fully satisfied only in Him. I burn with desire and this is what compels me to press forwards for more. He is the goal, prize and reward set before us. He is the ultimate fix, the highest high, the greatest pleasure. Without Him we have nothing. My one and only measure of success is this - how much of God's glory is upon us. I am not moved by church congregation size (Luke 6:26), community influence (Luke 16:15), or the grandeur of buildings (Gen 11:4). Jesus said "How can you believe when you receive glory from one another and do not seek the glory that is from the one and only God!" (John 5:44). But we are moved by heaven (Col 3:1-2) not men.
The Return of the Glory - Part 1
Wales - a marked nation
Wales is a nation that has been marked by visitation upon visitation of the glory. In 1859 a young man called Dafydd Morgan wrestled with an angel on the mountains along Cwmystwyth for the blessing. He arrived very late at church looking all messed up! But the fruit of this encounter was that over 110,000 souls came to Christ within a few months. Some years later another young man called Evan Roberts had an unbalanced addiction to heaven. He used to look dazed and disconnected. His family took him to a doctor and they said he was okay but extremely focused on religious matters! Evan wouldn't miss a meeting in case God showed up. He pursued God with all his heart. Like David he could say "My soul follows hard after you!". God began to visit young Evan during the night and shook violently under the power in his bed. He said to his mum he saw God face to face and knew there would be a great revival in the land. Within a short time a great and mighty flame was ignited that burned through the valleys and towns of Wales, and spread all over the world. Over 100,000 were saved in tiny Wales. The impact was cataclysmic. To this day you can still see in Rugby clubs there were no games during 1905/6 on the captains board it says "REVIVAL" where the captains name should be listed. Young people travelled all over the nation carrying such authority and power that theologians were silenced. It was truly a move beyond any one person. It was a wild fire with Jesus at the helm.
The Wild Fire ignites passion in America
News of this Flame travelled fast and ignited the passion of Frank Bartleman in the States. He wrote to Even Roberts. Evan wrote back and said to gather the hungry and press through until God comes in glory. With a small group of radicals they pressed on until they found God. They were totally unbalanced and got chucked out of the church they attended for being too extreme. They wanted to pull them back but they determined to press on. Frank distributed thousands of leaflets to stir up hunger around the region. He said he would rather die than not see revival. Momentum and expectation increased. He said...
"I was going day and night, exhorting myself to have faith for mighty things. The Spirit of revival consumed me. The Spirit of prophecy came upon me strongly also. I seemed to receive a definite 'gift of faith' for revival. We were evidently in the beginning of wonderful days to come, and I prophesied continually of a mighty outpouring."
Like many history makers Frank was addicted to God's presence. He refused to settle for less. Then on the 15th April 1906 this small prayer group meeting in a wooden building, with saw dust floors and wooden planks to sit on were hit by the glory invasion of heaven. Another Pentecost came upon this humble prayer group with a fresh baptism of the Spirit. It started with a small flame - one black woman speaking in tongues. People gathered on the streets wondering what it meant. Within a short time thousands came to receive the flame. Black and whites sat side by side in the glory. God was again found in a barn! The glory was so strong Frank Bartleman and William Seymour used to just lie on the floor praying letting the Spirit lead the gatherings. There was great controversy but God silenced the mockers and the religious and for a time no one could own it or control it. It was a wild fire spreading to the ends of the earth. No one could stop it. Rick Joyner says this of the Azusa street people...
"They wanted God so much that they did not care what anyone else thought about them. They could not live within the present limits of their times, so they were used to push those limitations back. Their abandonment to the Spirit was then used to benefit the multiplied millions that followed."
The WILD FIRE is in our DNA
History is marked by such movements and each time the contractions have become more intense. Every generation in Wales (until our time) not only believed for a move of God, they expected it to come. Wales has had hundreds of revivals and the hunger for the Spirit is deeply ingrained in our DNA. You can try and hold it back but there is an unbalanced call upon this land to make the one thing the one thing. We are a nation that cannot live without the glory invasion. We are a people who can sleep for a time, but then something stirs again to cause us to look and remember what God has done.
The Father is calling and resistance to this irresistible love is impossible. He is the Flame and He wants to take possession of us. He doesn't want us to have a little dap on the side, but to be fully possessed by the glory (which is the Holy Spirit Himself coming in power). Deep down we all know there is a wild flame burning in our hearts that cannot be tamed or satisfied by such mediocre success as we're seeing now in the Nation. Millions of lives are at stake, indeed the very soul of Europe. It is a dangerous offensive fire that is unbalanced like John the Baptist. A wildness that cuts against the empire spirit. A craziness that dares to believe for something greater than our own efforts can achieve. Wales cannot just be another nation looking the same as everywhere else. It is a place of deep wealth and substance in the glory. We have forgotten who we are. We have forgotten our first love. This is about to change in a way that will shake us to the core. Wales is a wild fire nation and anything less will never satisfy. The religious may seek to silence this cry but it cannot be bound. It is a sound that resonates throughout the land.
Part 2
Bob Jones
The bible says "believe His prophets, and you shall prosper (2 Chron 20:20). Bob Jones is one of those guys you just have to believe! From the age of 8 he was chosen and called by God to be a prophet to the Nations when an angel appeared to him and threw a mantle at his feet. Since then his life has been one wild supernatural journey. You can read about him in many books. He is now an old man and says that he is the last of a dying breed - what Bob calls 'the wilderness prophets'.
Bob says there is a new breed emerging right now that are coming into the promised land. This year prophetically he says we crossed over and things will never go back to what they were before. God has told him that heavenly encounters and unusual signs such as the jewels will not stop coming, but will actually continue to increase with even very young believers having some awesome experiences. The end result of this increasing glory will be us walking not in our own faith, but in the faith and light of God to see an incredible harvest. The bible says the great harvest is the end of the age (Mat 13:39).
Sands of time
Bob Jones is a mystic who encounters heaven every day. He lives in that realm. Years ago Bob had an encounter in heaven which he calls "The sands of time!". In this encounter he saw famous people from church and biblical history looking into a box. Each one put his hand into the box to see if their generation was the one that would see the promise, but sadly they would find there was nothing but plain sand in the box. They passed the box along the line to each successive generations, each one hoping it would fall on them. Finally it came to Bob and he expected to see the same thing - plain old sand. He put his hand in the box. To his great surprise he pulled out a piece of paper, a letter of invitation to join Joel's army. God said the invitations are going out now to THIS generation to join the great army. God said that the sands of time have fallen on us. As scripture says -
These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for US so that only together with us would they be made perfect. (Heb 11:39-40)
God prepared something BETTER for US - think about that!
We're finding the stories and exploits of the hidden streams are being rediscovered for a generation to pick up the mantle and go even further. Stories of the dessert fathers, early church, Celtic saints, the mystics, revivalist, missionaries, the great healing movements are now all coming back into focus. People who moved nature, talked to animals, raised groups from the dead, flew off the ground, glowed like light bulbs, appeared in two places at the same time, had the blood sign, had memory & ability upgrades, healed the maimed, lived extraordinary lengths of time, interacted with angels, saw millions saved (see "The New Mystics" for more on this). They showed us hints of what God had intended before the end of time. The bible actually says that Jesus is kept (retained) in heaven until the restoration of all things (Acts 3:21). Before Jesus comes back again there will be a bride of purity and glory that looks like Jesus and walks like Adam in the garden, fully restored.
The long church wilderness days are ending
There is a new breed is emerging RIGHT NOW that are stepping into the promise of the kingdom. The wilderness days are ending. We're not talking about the future this and the future that, we're talking about what's happening NOW. Some of you are waiting for it to happen - you need to realise it's here and God is calling you to be a part of it. Gone are the days of passing on the baton to the kids and saying it's for young people and all the older ones have missed it. It's for ALL who believe. It's for ALL who say "Count me in Lord!"
Signs in the heavens
Back in the 80's Bob prophesied over a barren couple they would have a son called Joshua and when he comes of age it would mark the days of the Joshua generation. He prophesied that there would be a sign in the heavens which would be called the eye of God. Around three years ago scientists who study the stars found a nebula shaped just like a human eye. The scientific name for this was the Helix Nebula, but they dubbed it "The eye of God". You can see it on the internet. It is stunning. It's a sign in the heavens of the Joshua generation. Everything is declaring this season now.
Recently up in the heavens the Hubble telescope has found a super nova that is beyond anything they have ever described before. It is bigger than anything they have ever seen before. They say it is the 'King' of the supernovas. The heavens are declaring the coming of the King. They have also recently found a place in space that is spewing out masses of heavenly jewels and diamonds just like we're seeing in the church. Heaven is speaking loudly.
Bob says that 40 years ago on June the sixth in the 6 day war Jerusalem became a united City - this was a major sign of change. Jerusalem is like a time clock in the purposes of God. On June the 6th this year their 40 year season was up. But their calendar is a little different than ours because they don't have as much time in it. Their 40 years season was May the 18th. They were going to have a big blow out, a big celebration in Israel. But there came such a flood in Jerusalem they couldn't hold the celebration. It never rains in Israel at that time of year. It has never been known to flood. This was another sign. The heavens are saying the King's coming! Jerusalem is the Lord's time clock - it's saying now the rains come. Now it is the time to let the rain of Christ come in the Church.
So the heavens are declaring this is a paradigm shift. The earth is saying the time clock of God is beginning again.
Greater glory
There's no doubt we are walking in a measure of glory in the UK, but the bible says that the glory of the new covenant should be so much greater than what Moses had. Moses face shone and He talked to God face to face! Bob Jones has said that the next years will be marked by a great increase of the glory to the point that some will actually shine. Todd Bentley calls this the greater glory, and says it will be marked by power for creative miracles and raising the dead (apostolic power).
'The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former,' says the LORD of hosts. 'And in this place I will give peace,' says the LORD of hosts." Haggai 2:9
Some people and places are already seeing this greater glory reality. People Heidi Baker have now seen 60 people raised from the dead and plagues stopped, and is beginning to impact a whole nation, despite heavy persecution. Since the glory came on her and her husband they have planted thousands of churches across sixteen nations and released many to reach the poorest of the poor. David Hogan is another wild one reputed to have seen well over 200 dead raisings and many bizarre miracles, sings and wonders in Mexico. One time he had half his face blown off by bandits and Jesus came into his room and healed him. They are seeing stuff that most of the church right now just couldn't even begin to imagine just like John G Lake did generations ago. These and others guys like Todd Bentley, John Crowder, David Herzog are all forerunners of an entire wild fire generation of glory carriers that is emerging upon the earth that will not hold back or slumber.
We meet ordinary people all over the world now that have astonishing stories of cripples since birth walking, ears hearing that have no holes, jewels appearing by the dozen, levitation, glory clouds and other signs. Ordinary pastors and Christians doing extraordinary things. What is being released cannot be contained. It has already started and will continue to spread like leaven amongst the people of God. There is now going back. As God said "When I act, who can reverse it?" (Isaiah 43:13). When God says "It's time!" then it really is time. No arguments from us!
This will take more than a 1,000 Evan Roberts
One day I had an encounter that changed me forever which speaks of the time we are coming into. I was in a trance and went into a dream like vision. In this vision I saw a vast bright yellow harvest field on a hill. The sky was bright blue and it was a beautiful day. In front of me there was a man working hard to harvest the field. He was working slowly by hand with a sickle. He had his shirt off and I could see he was brown from working in the sun, he was well toned and you could see he'd been working a long time. Sadly very little of the field had been cleared. He turned to me and said "Will you help me?". I felt such compassion and love for him. I began to work alongside him and after much effort realised we were hardly making a dent on the harvest. The harvest field was so vast. I said "This isn't good enough!". I was gutted.
Suddenly God said "Look!" I turned to see what was there and to my left I saw a big shiny red combine harvester all ready to go. I said "What is that?" (sounds weird now but I was shocked to see it and I knew it was supernatural). The Lord said "That is the power of the age to come." I liked it but couldn't see how to get in. I said "How do I get in it?". He replied "Intimacy - through being in Me, in my Spirit you'll come into the power of the age to come."
I climbed into the machine and began to go right into the harvest. I remember so clearly the feeling of being elated - high on the buzz of pulling in some much of the wheat. It was amazing and I felt like I was on top of the world with the wind blowing in my face. This was powerful. When suddenly I reached the top of the hill and stopped. I was startled and shocked. I looked and saw that as far as the eye the harvest continued. I could see the harvest was beyond what anyone person could gather in anyone lifetime. Even with this powerful machine I would fall as short as the man who was working by hand. The harvest field was too great. I realised at that moment that one of us would never be enough. I was gutted again!
At that point God spoke to me and said "It will take a thousand Evan Roberts to bring in this harvest!". This experience changed me forever. No one of us is enough alone for what God in mind. This will not be the day of one man power ministry - it will fall far too short. This will take an army walking in the power of the age to come. This is beyond what we have seen historically. Like Bill Hammon said - this is the day of the Saints.
Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come... The LORD thunders at the head of his army; his forces are beyond number, and mighty are those who obey his command. (Joel 2:2,11)
Bizarre signs & wonders
Signs that make you wonder will increase with visitations of the cloud of witnesses (it happened to Jesus remember in Mt 17:3 and is happening now in increasing measure - you will hear more on this soon), living creatures (not just angels but beings), and bizarre miracles some of which will be entirely new and awesome (Eph 3:20). Angelic visitations will be as common as Acts where it was not seen as an unusual event. This has started with lights appearing and visions but will now become increasingly manifest physically in face to face conversations like in the ministry of St. Columba, Roland Buck and William Branham. We will be familiar with heaven and heaven will fill our thoughts, our walk and talk (Col 3:1-2).
God will not be hidden away anymore but bold apostolic preaching like in the time of Whitfield and Wesley will again flourish and shake cities. Like Jesus they will have the words of eternal life that shut up every argument. It will not a side show but will be shouted loudly from the roof tops. Many will be saved through irrefutable proofs of the resurrection destroying atheism as legs grow, skin burns heal, cancers dissolve, mental illnesses are cured, the dead are raised and people get younger in the glory. Some will live to way beyond 100, and some will not even taste death. Again the gospel will be FULLY proclaimed by the power of signs, miracles and through the power of the Spirit. Paul said this...
I will not venture to speak of anything except what Christ has accomplished through me in leading the Gentiles to obey God by what I have said and done— by the power of signs and miracles, through the power of the Spirit. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ. (Rom 15:18-19)
We will see the gospel of the glory of Christ revealed in this generation like never before. The cross will be preached with new depths of understanding and power. Layers of truth will be revealed as we see into the volumes of the books of heaven accompanied by power.
Bill Johnson says that God is NOT going to wrap this up with a whimper like some imagine sneaking us all off in the night, but with an explosion of heaven invading earth. Rick Joyner says the message will not be "Turn to Christ because you need your life fixed" but "The Great King is coming - who's side are you on?" The invasion will be so widespread and so penetrating that the knowledge of the glory will actually cover the whole world like water on the sea. Every tribe and nation will eventually be touched and Christianity will never be irrelevant again.
The LION (Great Britain) will roar again
I'll end this update with part of an urgent word Wendy Alec released for the UK.
Then the Lord showed me a large lion, and He said, "This lion represents the nation of Great Britain." And it was a shocking sight, for where the lion should have been filled out and sleek and gleaming, it was almost a skeleton, and its mane was barely visible, and its coat was covered in mange, and its roar which should have shaken the nations in its power and in its ferocity was strangled and barely audible. And the Lord said, "This represents both the glory of this nation at present and the state of My church as a whole in Great Britain. And I saw in great letters, the words, "The Glory has departed from the Lion—but the Glory of the Lord of Hosts shall return and the Lion shall roar again."
The mantle of Courage!
Then as people dropped to their knees all over Britain from every walk of life and denomination, the lion started to change, and He grew strong and sleek and his roar grew stronger. And I saw written in the spirit, "Create in me a clean heart O God, and renew a right spirit within me." And as the people started to seek the face of the Lord I saw the word 'Courage,' and I knew that in the spirit realm that Great Britain had been endowed from the beginning of time with the mantle 'Courage,' and the Lord said, 'Lionheart.' And God said Britain has yet to move into her end time destiny in the nations. And I saw again in great letters, the words, "The Glory has departed from the Lion, but the Glory of the Lord of Hosts shall return." And the lion's roar by now had gained strength...And then he started to speak of Great Britain's destiny…
The Lion will roar!
"Oh Great Britain, Great Britain, Isle of walls and of fortresses, I tell you that even as the glory of the Lord has departed from the Lion, so the glory of the Lion of Judah shall return, and My glory shall rest upon the Lion and the Lion once again shall open its mouth and its roar shall be heard again among the nations of this earth.
"For even as in times past, the Lion whelped many, many cubs and sent its missionaries even to the uttermost parts of the earth, so I tell you that the glory of these latter days shall be greater than that of the former, and even though in centuries past, so I sent missionaries out from this nation even to Africa, to India, to China and beyond, so I tell you, beloved, that in the decades to come, a great mobilising of My called out ones shall occur, of men and women and boys and girls from these shores, those who even slumber at this time shall start to arise," says the Lord.
I am about to blow the Trumpet
"For even as many of My children, even as much of My Church in Great Britain slumbers even this day, so I declare that I am about to blow the trumpet," says the Lord, "Yes, I the Lord God of Hosts am about to blow the trumpet in Zion, and it shall resound with a mighty roar from the heavens, and My glory shall start to fall, and My Church and My called out ones shall rouse themselves from their stupor and from their slumber," says the Lord. "For even now, I have heard the prayers of My people. Even now, although it be but a remnant, I have heard the prayers of the watchmen on the walls of Great Britain, the watchmen who neither slumber nor sleep, and even as they have cried out to me in the midnight hour for Britain to heed My voice and to seek My face, so I tell you My children, that the day of the Lord is appearing.
And they shall rise from the East and from the West of this Isle, they shall rise from the Southernmost tip to the North, and Scotland, yes Scotland," says the Lord. "Yes, My burning fire shall be ignited in the furthermost parts of the North, and My glory shall light a flame," says the Lord, "that shall sweep across divides and denominations, and the Pentecostals and the Evangelicals and the Anglicans, the Methodists, the Catholics and all who revere My Name and the sacrifice of My Son shall unite with one heart and as one body, and that flame shall be seen across this land, and the cities and the villages of this nation shall start to burn with the fervency and the hunger of the Living God. For even as My Church has been bound by the shackles of compromise and passivity, I tell you that in this coming day and in this coming hour, My firebrands shall start to rise."
Like Wilberforce My Apostolic voices shall rise in the Houses of Parliament
"And like Wilberforce, My apostolic voices shall rise in the Houses of Parliament, they shall arise in London, they shall arise in Edinburgh, they shall arise in the North of England, and even as the unions had a voice in past years that was strident and rose above the crowds and became the voice of the masses, so in like manner shall My Church's voice start to be heard in a manner far above and beyond this present days. And so I shall raise My apostles, and they shall stand at the city gates and the gates of trading, and they shall stand in the government, and they shall stand in the media, and in the banking institutions and in businesses, and they shall stand in the clergy of this nation. And I shall raise up My prophets, and they shall rise, and their faces will be as flint, and even as John Knox voice rang out above Scotland, I tell you that My prophet's voices shall start to rise in this nation, and I call My intercessors, I call My intercessors, Pray, Pray, do not desist from your prayers, for even that which you have perceived in your spirits and that which you have yearned for, it is almost upon you.
A Mighty Flood of Evangelists
"For surely the day of the missionaries dawns once more upon these shores – For surely the day of the Gospel going forth to the uttermost parts of the earth dawns once more upon these shores. And as My fire starts to fall across Great Britain, I tell you that the men, the women, boys and girls, shall feel the call to leave theses isles and to travel to the continents of the earth to preach My Gospel. And a mighty flood of evangelists, a mighty throng of missionaries shall leave this nation, and I shall thrust them into the four corners of the earth, and they shall go to Japan, and they shall go to Beijing, and they shall go to Africa, East and West, and they shall go to Europe, and to the Middle East, and I shall spread them as a net over the continent of Asia.
And the Lord said, "Bring back My glory, Bring back My glory that your nation may once more walk in the glory of its destiny, and the Church may show forth My glory."
Do you want it? Then decide to press in for heaven to come!
Bring back the glory Lord for Jesus sake! Amen!

Pull Out Of The Civil War In The Church

Sometimes God throws a word into the mix that you didn’t see coming. This isn’t an easy message to share. Please would you weigh and test this word. It is coming from a heart of love and encouragement and is a word that applies to most of us (myself included). God is changing the shape of the church and showing us a better way.
Time to pull out of the Civil War

The Vision
I recently had a pretty intense visionary experience. I was sitting in the living room talking to some visitors and suddenly the room blurred and changed and I was pulled forward into a vision (this hasn’t happened before – it was pretty wild). In this vision I could see a vast and bloody battle. It was dark and I could hear the sound of the fighting. People were swinging swords with great fury and anger. There wasn’t two sides like a normal battle, just lots of clusters of people and individuals fighting each other in a frenzy. There didn’t seem to be any order to it. The noise was loud, clashing of sword, shouts. It wasn’t nice to be there. There was blood everywhere. I realised I was looking at in-fighting in the Church through Heaven’s eyes.
Some people came running towards me. I could see hurt and fear in their eyes. The man said “Help me!” but as he did this he swung his sword violently at me. He couldn’t see that his actions were violent and going to cause me pain. He was so hurt and needing help he was seeing things differently. He thought he was reaching out but he was actually stabbing out. I raised a sword to protect myself and accidentally hurt him with it in the process. I was gutted, I had not meant to hurt him. I could see his hurt.
I realised if I continued to defend myself I was going to keep causing the battle to continue and add to the pain. I took the scary decision to lower my sword. He raised his sword at me again and I thought “This is going to really hurt”. I shut my eyes and waited to feel the killer blow. Suddenly and unexpectedly several angelic arms appeared around me like a glowing shield. The sword hit their arms taking the impact and I was safe. I felt peace and knew there was a way through the battle in faith, love and rest that would not cause pain if I laid down my sword. The encounter abruptly ended and I was back in the living room. This was one of the most unusual visionary experiences I have had so far. It was almost real.
Interpretation
The Devil has spread rumours, lies, accusations and other malicious thoughts and words throughout the body of Christ. Some people have taken this stuff on board and are now attacking other Christians. Half the time they don’t even realise they are doing it. It can be so subtly – a criticism here, a judgment there, devaluing and so on. Others are just so hurt from the past they don’t know how to relate to others without control, manipulation or mistrust. This causes others harm and harms them. Others think they have the handle on the truth and won’t tolerate differences of doctrine or style. The enemy uses this to make people feel insecure, outcast & irrelevant.
Application
The Lord spoke to me several times and said this “It is time to pull out of the Civil War in the Church”.
Jesus is calling us across Wales in 2006 to pull out of the in-fighting for this move that is coming. We cannot speak badly of others in the church anymore or other styles of church. He’s calling us to stop defending ourselves when we get verbally attacked and to trust Him to defend us. We cannot continue like this. We must carry healing, love and forgiveness. As we do this the angels will cover us and protect us. We are safe in Him. We must walk in love.
We need to realise it is actually the Devil who is stirring this fight up, whispering lies and accusation. Sharon Stone said there had been a curse on Wales that made people suspicious of each other. This was broken in March in Cardiff, but we can still see the effects here. So many people mistrust each other. Diversity is attacked instead of honoured. We must continue to break this cycle. We have to believe the best of each other. The enemy is distorting words and events to isolate people. He is the accuser of the church.
Martin Scott said recently a problem in Wales is comparing each other and jealousy over forerunners of new things. He broke this off and said we need to celebrate each others success and not be threatened by it. There is so much jealousy taking place right now. We must stop comparing. It is all rooted in insecurity about our own gifts and callings. Things look so different from heaven. Things that man looks at mean nothing there. God has a brilliant plan for each one of us and that will look totally different for every person. He’s the God of the big things and the small things. They all count.
Here’s something I read tonight that kind of says what I’m seeing. It’s from John Crowder’s book “The New Mystics”
Most divisions come through envy over one another’s gifts, blessings, and callings. And this is rooted in a slavery mentality. It is a form of spiritual poverty, in which we do not feel worthy to approach the Father’s table for ourselves. We then become jealous when He favours someone else. Like the elder brother when the prodigal son returns, we become envious, not knowing that the Father would have thrown us a party anytime we wanted. We feel we must fend for our own – even in ministry. But God is big enough to bless everybody, each and every one.

We need to be creative and blaze new trails. Envy and jostling for position only breeds copycats, look a-likes, drones…Only by operating in our true individual callings and identities, can we ever fit together as living stones and arrive at perfect cohesion.
If we could all just realise – there is space, there is room for all of us in the Kingdom. We can be different. We don’t need to fight over what is here now - the bread, there is more than enough. In fact all we have right now is crumbs, the best is coming soon and it will satisfy everyone! Like the miracle with the loaves and fishes there will be plenty left after everyone is full. There is enough!
A Second Vision – The Father’s Waiting Room
I have a reoccurring vision. It’s been going on for months. I am in a waiting room with other people. One by one they are called into to see the Father and He gives them an awesome present. They come back out delighted and show us what they’ve received. They then leave and go to do the work the Father has them. As each person gets their gift I start to feel “What about me Lord?” I’m empty handed. It feels like being picked last for a football team. The numbers are going down and my sense of unease grows each time. Will I be left out? Then He whispers “Don’t you trust me?” I then come to my senses relax and remember my Daddy loves me, as if He would forget me! I start to laugh and celebrate with the others as they get gifts from Daddy. I don’t need to worry He has something just for me. Just be patient and wait. I find I’m the last one in the room, but I don’t care. I trust Daddy. He won’t forget me. I feel warm inside as I wait. The vision then ends.
God gives me this vision when I start to fret and worry that nothing is happening for me. It’s His way of reminding me He has it all under control. I’m not forgotten. The good stuff is coming. Just be patient. Celebrate others success. Be glad for them.
He knows where you are at!
God knows where you are. If you are struggling and it feels others are getting ahead of you, relax. Daddy loves you. He won’t pass you by if you trust Him, rest in Him and wait on Him. Scripture says it was through faith and patience they inherited the promises. If you are still waiting for dreams to be fulfilled, keep trusting He is a great Dad, stay in faith, and stop worrying about other people. He has something awesome just for you.
Please think about this word. I know it’s a difficult subject, but we need to see just how much God loves us and that we are all so important. Everyone has room in His kingdom. He said there was space for everyone of us. Our prayer is that the eyes of your heart would be enlightened to see the special destiny and calling He has just for you. You don’t need to walk in anyone’s shadow. You are valued and loved just as you are. Put down your sword – we’re pulling out of the Civil War! Amen!
