Prophets of God, hear the Word of the Lord for you today . He is saying it has seemed like a very difficult year. And yet, it has been a very blessed year. It almost seems strange that way. Your challenges have been bigger than ever and yet God has anointed you more than you have ever known before. He has been positioning you to walk through those doors just days away from opening. Take new strength in the Lord, today. He is filling you to accomplish your next tasks for Him. You only have a few days to prepare. Keep focused. Don't allow yourself to be distracted by the temporary during Christmas holidays. Keep focused on the eternal…on the important…following Christ. There is still a few things happening in the news as we complete this year, but then it is your new beginning that you have long awaited. But you are facing this new beginning with a new anointing…new faith…new hope…and new peace. You will accomplish more in the name of Jesus through His Spirit by faith than ever before. God is saving family members that you have been praying for this year. Continue in Him. Stay focused!
When we speak of blessings and challenges, that may sound like two different things. It is a natural combination with God. The more anointing He bestows on your life, the more challenges will come to you. The more anointing you will receive as you meet each challenge in faith and react in faith speaking and believing just what the Word has to say about that situation.
(Luke 12:48) ...For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
The decision to react in faith is being put before you continuously.
(Deuteronomy 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live.
It is how you respond to your challenges that will determine the anointing in your life. Are you responding with the faith that God expects from us? Or are you responding in the natural? As I speak of challenges, I am talking about any thing that does not line perfectly up with the Word of God. It is subject to change. It is temporary or temporal.
(2 Corinthians 4:18) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
What does this have to do with the Prophetic Anointing? Everything. God has shown His light upon the Prophetic Anointing in this season of the Church. As a whole, there is a much greater acceptance of the Prophet ministry than it has been in centuries. We are hearing much more about Prophets lately. I don't know if this is because there were not many prophets or they just weren't accepted by the Body of Christ.
We have to come to the revelation of the incredible power of God that comes through His servant who understands the power of the spoken word by faith and the power of speaking at the unction of the Holy Spirit. Our words are absolutely important all the time. Nothing should come out of our mouths except the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. We desire to see the promises of God fulfilled in our lives. God cannot release His anointing fully for His service when we are not speaking His Words. There are no idle words.
When I was a teen, the kids had a way of joking, by put-downs. My brother and sister were very good at it. It always grieved me inside. Later, the Lord began to show me that this was the idle words that He spoke of in (Matthew 12:36) But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.
Words produce action. We were creating that very thing every time we spoke it jokingly about another person. I always felt that the person meant every word. They were just hiding behind a joke to tell them just what they thought. It was a harmful habit. Now I realize just how much and why.
God wants to increase the power in your anointing. Take these few days before the end of the year to pray in the Spirit and get into His Word for your new strength. Put a guard on your mouth.
(Proverbs 4:24) Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee.
In this verse, the Word froward means in the Strong's froward=crooked, perverse, distorted.
Any words that we speak that are perverted to mean something they do not mean, they are twisted just a little, or they are distorted would be any Words that present God in any other way than the Word says about Him. You must speak His Words of Faith.
Some have just begun to recognize the prophetic calling on their lives. To you I recommend that you get into the Word of God. Let the Holy Spirit bring it alive to you.
(John 16:13) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.
Keep your balance…. Prayer and Word….Word and Prayer.
