I was asking of The Lord, enquiring and pondering with Him concerning upcoming days, and I received this short vision twice, but with some difference;
I saw a warrior man dressed in some armor, a metal breastplate, and large sword in his right hand. He was just arising from a pallet (or a low bed of some sort?). He was large, bulky muscled, strong, having dark curled hair that fell in short soft ringlets all over his head and even over his face somewhat. As I looked at him I thought of the goodly appearance described of Saul in his youth. (I Sam. 9:2)
I watched as this man rose up fully, threw his head back, opened his mouth and then he let out a huge roar!
At this same time of receiving this vision the scriptures of Ps. 78:65-66 were being quickened to me,
Then the Lord awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouteth by reason of wine. And he smote his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.
I was remembering these above verses only partially, and so I looked them up to read, and as I did so, the same vision came again, a second time, but this time instead of a sword, this clearly seen vision warrior-man held a long spear in his right hand, as he once again rose up, threw his head back, and roared.

Because of the vision and these scriptures, I believe that in the days ahead our Lord is going to arise up freshly to smite His enemies and drive them backwards. ~ Hallelujah!
And furthermore, as we Believers participate with Him we will have our part in this routing and victory.
The vision sword:
The sword of The Spirit, which is the
Word of God:
Eph. 6:17b
The sword is an instrument of hand to hand combat: As in, sword words wielded
strongly during in your face confrontations.
The spear is a thrusted flying weapon of distance aiming. I believe the vision spear is referencing again, the words of our mouths: spear words sent out, to penetrate the darkness of enemy ground, even in some cases to the penetration of distant or hardened hearts, as it were.
As you and I are desiring victory In Christ Jesus over all that the enemy has tried to steal or prevent in the church, in our lives, our families and friends, our fellowships, neighborhoods, regions, our nation and the nations, I believe we should seriously consider during this present time: dusting off with repentance if needful (!), cleaning, oiling (anointing) and sharpening His / our weapons, particularly of the sword and spear variety Thus with our freshly fine tuned weapons,,, being ready to roar with Him,, at our Lords rising up signal.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings . Mal. 4:2a
O sing unto the Lord a new song; for He hath done marvelous things: His right hand, and His holy arm, hath gotten Him the victory. Ps. 98:1
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ... " - II Cor. 10:4-5
