Lambs Among Wolves
Phyllis Bell
New Year’s
January 1, 2006
As you embark on this New Year, I send you out as lambs among wolves.
Do not fear to go against the forces of evil: the Devil, the father of lies and the arch deceiver; the spirit of antichrist, which prevails among those who want a “cushy”, “feel-good” gospel; and, the false prophets, who dispel spiritual “quackery” under the guise of “truth”.
Do not fear the battle that is before you this New Year. I have fought for you in past times, and I will not fail you now. “Only be strong and very courageous,” speak the truth in love and praise Me, praise Me, praise Me. You will see many bastions of the enemy fall. (See Josh. 1)
Why is it My Children, that the disciples in the Early Church recognized the evil within Rome and stood up against their rulers, even under the threat of death, yet, you, My Children can not see the cunning craftiness of those in high office within this land? Ever so subtly they are removing your freedoms. I did not tell the early Church to agree with evil men. I told them to stand for Christ no matter the cost, and they did in the midst of horrible persecution. Pray that darkness will be brought to light.
There are those among you who believe your leaders are born again. Just what is your definition of being “born again”? Born-again how? And, to what? The Buddhists even claim a “born-again” experience, do they follow Jesus Christ? Have they been washed in the blood? “…Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves.” (See Matt. 10:16) And, pray that you might know the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. “And, ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32)
