Israel's Irrevocable Call to the Nations

An Israeli commentator was recently quoted as saying "Israel is just a 'peanut' of a country and yet hardly a day goes by that Israel does not feature in the international news media." Its true !!! Israel has no oil, no gold, no silver, and no diamonds in the ground. Israel is strategically situated at the intersection of Africa. Europe and the Arab World, however the current size of the country is so small that the location is really insignificant. One can quite easily skirt around little Israel if necessary. Israel does produce some of the best fruit and vegetables in the world, but that is hardly a reason for the focus of the whole planet to be fixed firmly upon Israel and the Jewish people. Sadly the majority of the focus, is fueled by jealousy, prejudice and deeply rooted hatred.
The Muslim world openly displays its venomous hatred for Israel and the Jewish people. Iran's president continues to deny the Holocaust and publicly calls for the total destruction of the Jewish state in the very near future. The UN, which was hijacked by the Muslim lobby at its inception back in the late 1940 's, spends a great deal of its time and energy condemning Israel and passing resolutions against her, while virtually remaining silent in respect to the unsolicited attacks against Israel, that cause Israel to do whatever it is that the UN is upset about, in the first place.
The majority of Western political leaders, although a lot more subtle in choosing their words, are not much better. Behind their rhetoric is the move to greatly reduce Israel from the nation that YHVH intends His nation to be, in a desperate bid to placate the Muslims and thus protect their own nations from further Islamic violence and to ensure the continued flow of the world's most precious commodity. Here are just a few of the main players in the war to abort Israel's irrevocable call .................
President Bush, Condoleeza Rice, & British PM Tony Blair constantly push for the creation of a Palestinian state on Land that God has given to the Jewish people. They talk about two states living side by side, but the reality would be one state living inside of another - that sounds like a parasite situation to me. And it is Israel that stands to be eaten up from the inside out.
Former US president Jimmy Carter has re-entered the Middle East situation. He is currently traveling on the talk show circuit demonizing Israel. Carter is extremely unbalanced against Israel and towards the Palestinians and seems to be in dreamland when it comes to the truth. Here are some of Carters recent statements.
Former US Secretary of State, James Baker is also back on the scene. In his tenure as Sec. of State, Baker clearly displayed a serious anti-Israel position. Baker played a key role in the recent Iraq Study Group which somehow came to the conclusion that the mess America finds herself in over the Iraq insurgency, is linked to Israel. What Baker is really saying is that the US should sacrifice Israel's right to live in her land in exchange to win favor in the Islamic world. Seems Baker is as corrupt as many other power and money hungry politicians. An Israeli businessman who says he served as a broker in a multimillion-dollar Iraqi collection deal by the law firm of former Secretary of State James Baker now charges Baker's firm tried to cover up the alleged transactions, concerned about exposure after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.

What is really going on here is that these and other world leaders, as well as many church leaders who are pro-Palestinian / anti-Israel, are either knowingly or unknowingly doing the Devil's bidding in trying to abort the prophetic promises of God in respect of Israel's irrevocable calling to be a blessing and a light to the nations, and ultimately to be the physical location and capital of the Kingdom of God on the Earth.
Israel's 4000 year history is full of Hell driven enemies - both nations and individuals. The situation in today's so called modern and enlightened world is the same. The Jews are a peculiar people: things permitted to other nations are forbidden to the Jews. Other nations drive out thousands, even millions of people and there is no refugee problem. Russia did it, Poland and Czechoslovakia did it, Turkey threw out a million Greeks, and Algeria a million Frenchman. Indonesia threw out heaven knows how many Chinese-and no one says a word about refugees. But in the case of Israel the displaced Arabs have become eternal refugees. Everyone insists that Israel must take back every single Arab. Arnold Toynbee calls the displacement of the Arabs an atrocity greater than anything committed by the Nazis. Other nations when victorious on the battlefield dictate peace terms. But when Israel is victorious it must sue for peace
Everyone expects the Jews to be the only real Christians in this world. Other nations when they are defeated survive and recover but should Israel be defeated it would be destroyed. Had Nasser triumphed last June [1967] he would have wiped Israel off the map, and no one would have lifted a finger to save the Jews. No commitment to the Jews by any government, including our own, is worth the paper it is written on. There is a cry of outrage all over the world when people die in Vietnam or when two Blacks are executed in Rhodesia. But when Hitler slaughtered Jews no one remonstrated with him. The Swedes, who are ready to break off diplomatic relations with America because of what we do in Vietnam, did not let out a peep when Hitler was slaughtering Jews. They sent Hitler choice iron ore, and ball bearings, and serviced his troop trains to Norway.
The Jews are alone in the world. If Israel survives, it will be solely because of Jewish efforts. And Jewish resources. Yet at this moment Israel is our only reliable and unconditional ally. We can rely more on Israel than Israel can rely on us. And one has only to imagine what would have happened last summer [1967] had the Arabs and their Russian backers won the
war to realize how vital the survival of Israel is to America and the West in general. I have a premonition that will not leave me; as it goes with Israel so will it go with all of us. Should Israel perish the holocaust will be upon us. END of QUOTE
So much of what Eric Hoffer wrote 48 years ago could have been written yesterday. Its happening again folks. As Yeshua requested of His disciples " Will you watch & pray ? "
The Lord bless you as you bless Israel by standing in defense of her right to exist on the land given to the Jewish people by the God of Israel . Do not be silent, but share this to your fellow Christians, share it with your pastors and with anyone you have a chance to speak to. Lets also pray for that breakthrough to the Muslims, and please remember to pray for our son Jordan, and all of his fellow soldiers in the IDF.
