Just as Paul went to the Old Rome…so to, will the new Paul’s go to the New Rome. There are Old Saul’s in all of us, just as there was in the King Saul’s of the Old Testament, so to be there Old Saul’s of the New Testament.

Driven and drive, affected by the David anointing, jealous, proud, self righteous, never satisfied, religiously zealous BUT ALSO JEALOUS, suffering in murder, anger and rage.

It is the anointing that irritates, it is the anointing that soothes, and it is the anointing that breaks ALL yokes. Just as the New Saul found it hard to kick against the pricks, so to will the New Paul’s, for God does not want to see them revert back to their old ways.

Do you lack humility? Come to Jesus, for his is gentle and humble and lowly in heart. Can’t seem to get it right? Come to Jesus for He is the Way the Truth and the Life. Never satisfied and driven, driving others, instead of them entering Gods rest? He will cool that rage and slake that inner thirst, for he is full of grace and truth, you can trust Him to receive you. Feel anger, rage and murder? Even in our own thoughts, come to Him, for He is only jealous FOR you, never jealous OF you…for Christ’s apparent weakness, will destroy this particular strongman. He will lead you into peace and not into war.

God’s desire is to change the wolf, not primarily into a sheep, but rather, in to a lamb. Then can the shepherd understand the lamb and the lamb understand the sheep…for both need to be fully persuaded and at peace, but for each of them, need to be also fully persuaded, that nothing can separate them from the love of God, given them in Christ Jesus. Gods love CANNOT separate, but does certainly enjoin.

Saul’s ways are the ways of the hunter, it scatters and not gathers. Gods scattering is unto life, Saul’s is eventually unto death. Saul’s way is to eventually make us like him, just as he is. Jesus way is to lead us to the Father and into HIS heart. Saul’s way is to do his own works, Jesus work is to form Himself in you…and a righteousness that is not based on ones own works, but based on what the FATHER IS DOING, what His Father is WORKING, Then…will one and all be found to have The Faith, the Righteousness, that IS BY FAITH ALONE, FROM FIRST TO LAST.

All roads lead to Rome, but Jesus leads us to the Father.

In our religion, we have become wolves. We have in the name of religion and its zeal committed murder and still our blood lust is not satisfied. Our thoughts are not your thoughts, our ways not been your ways. We have thought ourselves right, but our hearts have been wrong.
