We Shall All Be Changed In A Moment, In The Twinkling Of An Eye
12-16-05
The Lord has been speaking to my heart lately concerning the “MOMENT.” He has made it clear that we do not have tomorrow. All we have is right now, this very moment. The purpose of God for His people is for them to have joy and gladness in their hearts so that they may be Glad and Rejoice fearing nothing. This joy and gladness cannot be put off until tomorrow when the promotion comes, the newborn babe comes, the mate comes, the money comes, the car comes or the health, but must be received right now. The purpose of the enemy is to push each one outside of the moment. Consider each moment to be a bubble. As long as you are within that bubble everything is like the Garden of Eden, like a land flowing with milk and honey. Once you are moved outside of that bubble everything becomes like a land with thorns and thistles, filled with curses, pain and brokenness. As long as you are within the bubble you are prepared for the great moment that we have all waited for which is the CHANGE IN A MOMENT. If the enemy can push us outside of each moment and get us into fear, doubt, anxiety and the like he has succeeded in keeping us from experiencing what God has intended. Every second that is spent outside the moment is an opportunity to miss it. Seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, years, decades, centuries and millenniums are all spaces of time in the earth realm, but the MOMENT is eternal, never ending. We are called to live in the realm of the moment wherein the presence and power of God is. If we live in the realm of earthly time we will be subject to delays, disappointments and distractions. We will always be looking to some future time when everything will be just right. The truth is tomorrow never comes. Also, everything you have ever desired is contained within the moment you have right now and if you will walk into it you will find the peace and joy and contentment you have always longed for. We find moments within moments, or bubbles within bubbles. We all remember the soap toy where you would blow bubbles into the air; the trick was to get a bubble into a bubble. This is the same principle in the realm of the moment. There are moments within the moment, much like there are levels of glory; FROM GLORY TO GLORY. Within each moment there is an open door to another experience with God. As we REMAIN within the MOMENT we no longer look for things to come or events because within each moment are events and things that God desires to give or reveal to us. The ultimate effect of living within the moment is that IN A MOMENT, WE SHALL BE CHANGED! So let us, each one be sure to LIVE within each moment that we have, for there is no promise of tomorrow, even as our Lord has declared; Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day [is] the evil thereof.
The Scripture declares that there will be TIME NO MORE! This truth can be received as we learn to walk in the moment NOW! What is the moment? The Greek definition for Moment in 1Corinthinas 15 is ATOMOS. It means; CANNOT BE CUT IN TWO. INDIVISIBLE. UNDIVIDED. A moment is a whole that fills up all time and space and gathers in all things both which are in heaven and upon the earth. It is said that “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him: The phrase FULNESS OF TIMES means;
a) a fixed and definite time, the time when things are brought to crisis, the decisive epoch waited for
b) opportune or seasonable time
c) the right time
The right time is right now! The opportune time is right now! The fullness of times is that moment which is available right now to whosoever will. Another way of saying this is that we are called to walk in the Spirit. As we walk in the Spirit we are subject to divine activity, spiritual activity. The Spirit is a person who leads us into a realm called the spiritual realm. As we are led by the Spirit we are the sons and daughters of God. Each MOMENT in the Spirit is an opportunity for an encounter with God, yet even without an experience it is still the realm of God. The difference between walking in the Spirit and the flesh is that the walk in the flesh is filled with anxiety while walking in the Spirit, even while there seems to be no present activity, provides peace and Joy in the Holy Spirit. We are moving in the Spirit to a Moment, even though we are already walking in a moment to moment experience. We are traveling through time and space having an experience with God and will suddenly, in a moment, experience the greatest of all known experiences which is the complete transformation of our beings, the outworking of the metamorphosis that has been at work within us since the day we believed. While there is so much more to say and we could turn this short teaching into a book, I would close with this thought and exhortation to all those who are alive and remaining at this Moment; Let us all be diligent to be found of Him in PEACE! There is nothing more that a believing man or woman could do in this present moment than to rest, count it all Joy, and be glad and rejoice, for this is the will of God for all of His people. Everything that needed to be said concerning the times we are in has already been said, and now we are left to this moment wherein the grace and bounty of Almighty God is expressive and unrestrained for those who would enter in and receive it. We are, no doubt being called to ENTER INTO HIS REST at this very moment. If this moment passes with us at complete rest and peace, and we here the voice of the Spirit calling us and leading us into another moment before that great moment, then we shall be obedient to His voice and leading and do what he say’s. However, we know now that this moment is a place of peace and rest, so may each one of us receive the blessing of rest and peace at this very moment and may God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ richly bless you with His presence and fullness of joy
Merry Christmas
