Wonder Of Wonders

Again we want to thank all those who have been praying for Rimona, our two soldiers, and myself while I was away. A couple of weeks ago, I mentioned that a door was open to go into Great Britain to share in the life of our Redeemer, and to preach the message of the “Gospel of the Kingdom” from the Torah and the Prophets. I was greatly blessed to meet those who gathered in homes, and were engaged in intercession for the land and for the restoration of all Israel. YHVH poured out His Spirit and thus there were ears to hear and hearts to understand the mysteries of His Kingdom, His redemptive plan for Israel and the creation. I am very grateful for His grace, as He moved before me to prepare the way. I am also thankful to those who hosted me so graciously in their homes.

Everything went so smoothly and purposefully, that I was in awe at the answers to prayers. Just to cite one of those examples: When Stafford, a dear brother and true intercessor with whom I had initially stayed, looked at my train schedule for the journey down to my next destination, he said that it would take a miracle if I were to get there as planned. I had four trains to catch, with the arrivals and departures being within ten minutes of one another. Stafford added that he and the others with him would be in prayer, and wonder of wonders, all of the transportation ran on schedule and I arrived safely and amazingly on time.

At one point Rimona called and said that YHVH had started answering a prayer that has been on our hearts for a long time (years), but which recently has occupied a few of us with a greater intensity. As a result, we have been feeling that the Father was authorizing us to establish a center in Jerusalem. But even so, we still did not have a solid and clear word as to His precise intent regarding this place, until at one of the last meetings He gave us the following scriptures: "The Spirit of the YHVH is upon Me, because YHVH has anointed Me to preach good tidings to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of YHVH, and the day of vengeance of our Elohim; to comfort all who mourn, to console those who mourn in Zion, to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of YHVH, that He may be glorified" (Isaiah 61:1-3). In light of this word, we realized that it was more than a center solely for Ephraimites, but for preparing for the reunification of both houses of Israel (Ephraim and Judah). Others, who had also been seeking Him, confirmed that scripture too. At the same time we also realized that this was the portion that Yeshua read in the synagogue in Nazareth, after He was filled with the Spirit of Holiness and was tested by Satan (ref. Luke 4: 1-20). We reasoned that since He indwells us, He would be using us, the redeemed remnant, to do that which He had been anointed for.

While I was away, some from this little group went to look for a place, and as it turned out, did not have to look long. Upon examining the very first house that was on the real-estate list, they immediately knew that it was “it”. By the way, the number of the house is 12 and the street name is also prophetic. In addition, when approaching the house one sees a large sticker on the garage door which reads: “Moked Tehila”, and even though this is the name of a security company, its literal meaning is “focus of praise”. Interestingly, during prayer time, just before signing the contract, the scripture, “You shall call your walls Salvation” came up. The next day, when checking that scripture for its full context, this is what Rimona read: “You shall call your walls Salvation, and your GATES – PRAISE” (Isaiah 60:18). On Tuesday, after unpacking my suitcase, we drove up to Jerusalem to meet one of our friends at the house. We walked through the gate and on the sidewalk there was a large yellow cardboard sign (advertisement) that someone threw over the fence. It read: “No Compromise Please”!

Interestingly, the Swiss fellowship, which helped us take care of most of the initial rental expenses, is called “Stand Up”. This is what Yeshua did that Shabbat in the synagogue, when He read from Isaiah (Luke 4: 16). It is also what the dry bones of Ezekiel do when breathed upon by YHVH:

“Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, 'Thus says YHVH Elohim: "Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live.” So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army” (Ezekiel 37:9-10).

We are all very thankful to our Heavenly Abba for His “wonder of wonders,” and we look forward to what He will do next.

Shabbat Shalom
