Come, Lord Jesus!

Dream ¾ February 1, 1994
Through the airport passenger lounge windows, I could see that It was nighttime. I met an unfamiliar young fair complexioned woman who appeared to be in her mid-twenties, pleasant looking, and dressed in light casual clothing. She carried no personal effects, not even a handbag.
We began talking, and she told me that she was on her way to meet someone. She also told me that he had something to do with the ocean water she had to travel over in order to meet him. She spoke of the man with great joy and excitement.
Next, we were flying over an enormous peaceful body of deep blue water. She sat by the window while I sat in the aisle seat. There was an empty seat between us. While it was nighttime, from where I sat I could clearly see the blue color of the water and its vastness through the window. Eventually, we landed at a tropical island surrounded by beautiful aqua-blue waters and white sand beaches. I could clearly see the color of the water and sand in the dark.
It was still nighttime, and I was no longer with the young woman. I was now in the midst of many different kinds of people on the island. Although I did not recognize anyone, I had now joined them in waiting for someone to appear. We were quite excited.
Next, we saw the young woman with whom I traveled on the plane. She was dressed as a bride and beautifully radiant. Everyone admired her radiance and loveliness. She appeared quite eager for the bridegroom's arrival, and we joined her in waiting for him. END
INTERPRETATION
The nighttime represents the spiritual climate of the sinful age we live in. The young fair complexioned woman represents the faithful Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Rev. 3:7-13). She carried no personal items, symbolizing that she had spiritually detached herself from all worldliness. In other words, she carried no baggage which is interpreted here as sin.
Her great joy and excitement as she spoke of waiting to meet someone who had a connection with the water we traveled over symbolically represents the soon appearance of Lord Jesus — the Living Waters. The color “blue” represents Holy Spirit and His moving throughout and keeping the Church immersed in Savior and Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God. (Through Holy Spirit’s anointing, I am able to clearly distinguish colors in the dark in dreams.)
Arriving at a tropical island surrounded by peaceful waters represents a state of peace and holiness that the faithful and anticipating Church of Lord Jesus currently finds Herself in as She determinedly perseveres in working out Her salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12). Holy Spirit continues to guide and help Her in remaining faithful through ongoing immersion in prayer and faithful nourishment for Her spiritual strength by reading and studying the Word.
The radiant bride represents the Church, symbolized by the many different kinds of people as we await the appearance of Lord Jesus to rapture us into Glory to be with Him forevermore.

>> For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words (1Thes. 4:16, 17).
>> Now this I say, brethren [Saints], that FLESH AND BLOOD CANNOT INHERIT THE KINGDOM OF GOD; nor does corruption [sin, pride, and self-righteousness] inherit incorruption [glory]. Behold, I tell you a mystery: we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed¾in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible [glorious], and we [alive at that moment] shall be changed [become glorious]. For this corruptible [flesh and blood] must put on incorruption [a glorious body], and this mortal [flesh and blood] must put on immortality [eternal life]. So when this corruptible has put on incorruption, and this mortal has put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written:
“DEATH IS SWALLOWED UP IN VICTORY.”
“O DEATH, WHERE IS YOUR STING?
O HADES [Hell], WHERE IS YOUR VICTORY?”
The sting of death is sin, and the strength of [against] sin is the law [Word of God]. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1Cor. 15:50-57).
>> “I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA, THE BEGINNING AND THE END. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I WILL BE HIS GOD AND HE SHALL BE MY SON. But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murders, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and ALL LIARS shall have their part in the LAKE WHICH BURNS WITH FIRE AND BRIMSTONE, which is the second death” (Rev. 21:6-8).
