A wedding was about to take place to which I had been invited. I did not want to attend. It was set for 12:30 midday. Before leaving for the wedding, however, I was called into another room by an elderly couple. They were both in bed together at the left side of the room. To the right of the room was an enormous wide window without a glass pane through which an extremely bright light shined. At the couple’s request, I closed the window’s drape in one sweep with my left hand from left to right because they said that the light was too bright for them. I then left the room, leaving them in total darkness.
A woman waited for me as I came out of the dark room. She seemed anxious, and kept reminding me that we were going to be late for the wedding ceremony, and insisted that I hurry up. I then searched my jewelry box for a piece of jewelry, deliberately taking my time. I came across an old-fashion, boldfaced man’s gold pocket watch without chain. I picked it up, looked at its bold numbered face, but strangely could not tell what time it was — even as I looked at the time! I returned the gold pocket watch to the jewelry box. A few minutes later, we both left for the wedding ceremony.
It was a mild, sunny day, and we were now in the midst of a very large crowd that waited outdoors. We had missed the wedding ceremony. A bride and groom appeared, approaching slowly from the left. The bride wore a full-length white wedding gown with a wide hoop skirt that was elegantly fashionable in Western culture in the 1800’s. She also wore a bridal headpiece with veil. The veil was now drawn away from her face. They had just been married, therefore her unveiling.
The bride had her right arm linked through the groom’s left arm. She had dark hair, was fair complexioned, in her mid twenties, slender, about five feet, four inches in height, and wore a very pleasant smile. She was not beautiful — just nice looking in appearance.
The groom was black-black in complexion, had black hair, was approximately thirty years old, slender, and about five feet, ten inches in height. He wore an evil looking, smirking, toothy smile. He was beaming, as though he had just caught a “prize catch.” His attitude was extremely cagey — guarded — cautious as expressed in his sneaky and sly suspicious eyes. I did not like him. He was not a good-looking man. He wore a black formal suit with white bow tie and tails.
The groom paraded the bride in front of everyone as they slowly walked by the large crowd. They stopped, and he waved to the crowd. She just smiled at the crowd. She did not carry a bridal bouquet. They continued walking away and then faded out of sight.
Next, I was now at the wedding reception, alone. An older handsome man, approximately sixty years old, smilingly approached me from the left. He made an effort to strike up a conversation several times. I politely avoided him. He wore an expensive tailored gray suit, was quite debonair — suave — elegant — refined — charming — well groomed and sophisticated. He really was quite handsome, and stood approximately five feet, ten inches tall. He had a full head of well-groomed gray hair, perfect teeth, good clear complexion with few wrinkles, and appeared to be in excellent health. His eyes were strongly focused on me, and deeply penetrating, making me feel uncomfortable. This man also wore a smirking, toothy smile. As he continued trying to get and hold my attention, I became extremely uncomfortable with him, and did not want his company. After a while, I finally just ignored him and walked away.
The wedding reception was large and formal, and everyone was dressed elegantly. I did not recognize anyone. Throughout all the time that I slowly circulated in the midst of the guests, I felt ill at ease about the wedding affair and about being at the wedding reception. I no longer wanted to be part of this wedding celebration and wanted to leave. The place was crowded, but the bride and groom were not at the reception. I did not see them again. END

INTERPRETATION
I wanted no part of the wedding that was taking place. The elderly couple represents the old traditional type church that operates in the flesh and not under the anointing of Holy Spirit’s control. The man symbolizes a pastor. In spiritual dreams, the woman symbolizes sin or a church. Here, this woman represents a dead — comatose — lifeless church. Their laying in bed together at the “left” symbolizes the position of goats — the unrighteous (Mat. 25:33). Their intimacy clearly reveals that this is a very, very old relationship spanning throughout the past Church age.
The bright light shining through the window at the “right” ¾ position of sheep; righteousness ¾ without a glass pane represents the Light of the world (Jn. 8:12), Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The couple’s request that the room be darkened by drawing the drape over the window symbolizes that they wanted to continue dwelling and laying in darkness together without the true presence of the Light, the Word of God, in their midst. Darkening the room at the couple’s request symbolizes that I was called by Lord Jesus to witness this dead church’s apostasy in the dream through Holy Spirit’s anointing. The couple rejected and denied the Light of the world because it was too bright—too revealing of their apostate evil deeds.

The woman waiting for me represents the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. She was anxious to witness the prophetic End Time scenario of some members of the Lord’s Church who were in the midst of, or who had completely fallen away into total apostasy.
The jewelry box symbolizes the Word of God—my most prized Treasure of Gems. The man’s old-fashion gold pocket watch symbolizes God’s Timepiece. By taking the watch into my hands, I prophetically understand one of the End Time events of apostasy that will be taking place just before Lord Jesus’ appearing (2Tim. 4:1 — Titus 2:13 — 1Pet. 1:7) in the clouds to rapture His Church. Although I clearly saw the face of the watch, the hour when Lord Jesus would appear (Mt. 24:44), after the falling away—apostasy, was withheld from me as no one will know the hour of His appearing (Mt. 24:30). (All of today’s End Time signs, especially about Israel, are clearly prophesied by Lord Jesus in Matthew Chapter 24 and Luke 21:22-36, thus keeping today’s Church on “high alert.”)

>> Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering [rapture] together to Him, we ask you not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled… Let no man deceive you by any means; for that Day [the Rapture] will not come unless the FALLING AWAY [apostasy] comes first … And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness (2Thes. 2:1-3, 11, 12).

The large crowd waiting for the bride and groom’s appearance are apostates—fallen members, “brethren” in the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. They had assembled to celebrate the occasion of a “joined together” event that boastfully took place in broad daylight. This symbolizes the willingness of this bride to be rejoined to Satan, the groom, without shame or remorse for her betrayal of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, Who died for her because He loves her. Thusly her content smile. Her old-fashion wedding dress represents a very old courtship that concluded an enduring desire to be yoked once again with her former suitor. (2Cor. 6:14, 15) Her unveiling represents pride, shamelessness, and apostasy.

>> Beware, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief in DEPARTING from the living God. … And to whom did He swear that they would not enter His rest [Eternal Life], but to those who did not obey? (Heb. 3:12, 18)
[Here, in vs. 12, Paul warns “brethren” (Christians) by the example of Israel’s failures in the wilderness. They were brought out of Egypt with the fullest assurance of blessing, prosperity, and eternal rest. By their sin and unbelief, they came short of the promised blessings, fell in the wilderness, and were cut off from God. Paul states plainly that Christians, the born again or saved men, can also return to an evil heart of unbelief, depart from the living God, be hardened by deceitfulness of sin, be cut off by God, and be finally lost. — SOURCE: DAKE’S ANNOTATED REFERENCE BIBLE]
>> For it is impossible for those who WERE ONCE ENLIGHTENED [walked in the Light of the world — Jn. 8:12], and have tasted the heavenly gift, and HAVE BECOME PARTAKERS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, and have TASTED THE GOOD WORD OF GOD and the powers of the age to come, if they FALL AWAY, to renew them [walk in the Light — heavenly gift — Holy Spirit — Word of God — powers] again to repentance, SINCE THEY CRUCIFY AGAIN FOR THEMSELVES THE SON OF GOD and put Him to an open shame (Heb. 6:4-6).
[Heb. 6:6 — (a) If they shall fall away. How could they fall away from the experiences of vs. 4-5 if they never did have them? The language is past tense and factual so it cannot be denied that the ones referred to did at one time have these experiences. (b) Gr. “parapipto”: to fall aside; apostatize; fall away. It means to throw overboard all faith in the experiences of the gospel and deny them. Men are here warned that such is possible. (c) To renew them again to repentance is impossible. The reason given is that they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put Him to open shame. This is the final act of apostasy. They publicly judge Him an imposter and worthy of death. That is, they do not believe in Him or His atonement any longer. Since such faith is the only thing that could renew them again to repentance, it then becomes impossible. How could they be renewed again to repentance if they had not experienced repentance before? The word “again” means once more; another time; anew. >> For if we sin WILLFULLY after we have received the knowledge of the truth, THERE NO LONGER REMAINS A SACRIFICE FOR SINS, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation [righteous anger] which will devour the adversaries [apostates]. … Of how much WORSE PUNISHMENT, do you suppose, will he be thought worthy WHO HAS TRAMPLED THE SON OF GOD UNDERFOOT, COUNTED THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT BY WHICH HE WAS SANCTIFIED A COMMON THING, AND INSULTED THE SPIRIT OF GRACE? For we know Him who said, “Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, says the Lord.” And again, “The Lord will judge His people.” IT IS A FEARFUL THING TO FALL INTO THE HANDS OF THE LIVING GOD (Heb. 10:26, 27, 29-31).

The groom’s “black-black” complexion represents Satan. The color “black” is symbolic of sin. His description in the dream says it all, and needs no interpretation. His behavior and formal dress is a triumphant display of “I was at my best, and I WON!” Satan triumphed over the hearts, minds, spirits, and souls of all those lazy, prayerless, spiritually immature, weak and non vigilant Christians who did not work out their salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12 — Heb. 2:1-4). Through Satan’s masterful lure, they returned to Egypt—the world. (Mt. 13:3-7, 18-22)

>> They have forsaken the right way and gone astray, following the way of [Satan, and] who LOVED the wages of unrighteousness. … These are wells without water, clouds carried by a tempest, to whom the gloom of darkness is reserved forever. … For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, THEY ARE AGAIN ENTANGLED IN THEM [pollutions of the world] AND [ARE] OVERCOME, THE LATTER END IS WORSE FOR THEM THAN THE BEGINNING. For it would have been better for them NOT TO HAVE KNOWN THE WAY OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. But it has happened to them according to the true proverb: “A dog returns to his own VOMIT,” and “a sow [swine, pig, hog], having washed, [returns] to her wallowing in the mire [mud]” (2 Pet. 2:15, 17, 20-22).

There is a strong association between the elderly couple in bed and the bride and groom. What has been a very old practice in time past has been hidden in total darkness. However, the bride and groom’s “open marriage” at last bring it out at midday as a confirmation of the prophetic Word of God on the apostasy — falling away — that would first take place (2Thes. 2:1-3) before Lord Jesus’ appearing in the clouds to call HIS faithful Bride unto Himself.

Then we who are alive and remain shall be CAUGHT UP [raptured] together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord (1Thes. 4:16, 17).

The older debonair, sophisticated, well-groomed, and well-tailored gray haired man was Satan in another disguise. He sought to attract, deceive, and ensnare me with his charm and prosperous appearance, but I rejected him and walked away.

My lone presence at the wedding reception is symbolic of the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth witnessing End Time prophecy of those falling away—APOSTASY. My feeling ill at ease by being at the wedding reception reveals my utter disgust at being in the midst of these apostates who had “trampled the Son of God underfoot, and counted the Blood of the Covenant by which He was sanctified a common thing.” However, in the dream Holy Spirit’s anointing positioned me at the apostates’ ceremonial event to witness one of the most tragic End Time signs and events: the betrayal of God’s love and mercy toward them through His sacrificial Lamb. The Son of God, our most precious, loving, and merciful Lord Jesus Christ, was slain on the Cross at Calvary for their sins. Yet there they were, handsomely dressed in their elegant costumes, and wearing their false masks while celebrating their betrayal as they “openly” trampled the Son of God underfoot. WOE, WOE, WOE!

All the people at the wedding reception were corporately apostate “church” members who symbolized the apostate bride as she celebrated her total surrender to her former suitor whom she had previously been in bondage to.
Satan, the older debonair man, who was symbolic of the groom, slithered around me like a charming snake, seeking to ensnare me. But my¾that is, the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth abiding in Lord Jesus, His words abiding in Her heart (Jn. 15:1-8), and God’s Holy Spirit empowering Her (Acts 1:8), has sealed Her with the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-17) and with the authority to trample on serpents, scorpions and over all the power of the enemy (Lk. 10:19). She is empowered with a Divine faith and holy righteousness that is anchored in Her heart and spirit to resist the devil (Jas. 4:7) and his wiles (Eph. 6:11) because SHE ALWAYS HEARS THE VOICE OF HER SAVIOR AND LORD JESUS (Jn. 10:17, 18), AND SHE FOLLOWS HIM. He is the Good Shepherd and THE WORD OF GOD that gives His Church FAITH, peace, joy, hope, STRENGTH and victory, and He is God’s Gift of Eternal Life (Jn. 6:54, 56). And yes, She is Divinely anointed with Holy Spirit’s POWER, BOLDNESS, and FIRE with which to comfort Herself and do the works of Lord Jesus (Jn. 14:12), to help Her witness Lord Jesus to a dying world (Acts 1:8; 2:4, 17, 18 - 4:29 ¾ Jn. 14:16, 17; 15:26; 16:7-15), and to glorify God in all Her works. [NOTE: Of particular interest is Jeremiah Chapters 42-44. It should be noted that Ex. 12:31-51 records that God led Israel out of bondage from Egypt. Tragically, Jeremiah 42-44 reveals Judah’s return to Egypt against God’s command. [Judah symbolizes today’s Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.] This is a classic and dramatic case of disobedience and apostasy before Almighty God by Judah, just like today’s scenario of much apostasy taking place in Lord Jesus Christ’s Church. Jeremiah was taken to Egypt against his will (Jer. 43:6). There, he continued to prophesy God’s words of catastrophe and judgment to Judah for her disobedience in going to Egypt. Judah did not repent, and there they died.
