Viewing the Cross from the Throne

After seeing The Passion of Christ, I wondered how the Father handled all that happened to His Son on this earth. I decided to ask Him if He would be willing to share His experience with me. I offer this for your testing against the one true Measure.
As I entered the Throne Room the Father motioned me forward saying, "Come in My curious one."
That pretty much sums up my personality but I quickly reminded Him of His wise words that we 'Have not because we ask not.'
He smiled and said, "What is it you would like to know?"
We discussed the new movie depicting Jesus' last hours on earth. In recalling the events His expression was a mixture of sadness and satisfaction. The Father expressed concern that His churches were not prepared for the Harvest this movie was going to bring in and He asked to keep that in prayer.
I moved in closer and asked Him to tell me what happened after Christ left Heaven.
He said, "All eyes were ever on My Son when He entered the earthly realm, for the Destroyer sought to take His life at every opportunity. Angels had their assignments before He left and each one took their charge seriously."
The Father continued, "I sent helpers along the way for guidance, for encouragement and for strength. I knew it would be a welcomed sight for My Son to receive these visitors from Heaven. As Jesus' journey neared its end, legions of angels stood by to move at a spoken Word."
I asked Him how He handled the way His Son was treated on earth.
He paused for a moment with His hand against His face and said, "When I think of the experience My Son had on earth I focus on the destination of the journey rather than on the journey itself. I have not forgotten what happened but I choose to see that Christ's experience made the way for many more to come to Us. It also made a way to defeat the enemy in a way that ALL would see. Jesus' life also serves as an example for others to follow. So you see, when I look at the experience My Son endured I choose to see the profit instead of the pain."
I asked if He got angry when they were beating and berating Jesus.
Sadness overtook his reflection as He thoughtfully answered my question, "My anger was indeed kindled many times as I watched but My Son asked me to forgive them, saying that they did not know what they were doing. It was My good pleasure to answer that prayer for I love these Children, too. I knew that one day many of those that mistreated My Son would one day come to serve Him."
I marveled at the grace and mercy of my God. But, there was one last question I have wondered about every time I read the Word. So I asked Him, "Why did Jesus say, 'My God why have Thou forsaken Me?"
The Father said, "You were told only half of the conversation We had that day…the side that man heard. The sins of the world clothed My Son as He hung on the cross. His flesh and the Deceiver cried out to Him telling Him that I had forsaken Him but My Spirit spoke to His heart in that moment saying, 'I will never leave You or forsake You.' After hearing and believing that truth, My Son delivered up His Spirit to Me and it was accomplished. All of Heaven rejoiced at that moment because mankind had found their Deliverer and My Son was no longer suffering. It was a joyous day. As Jesus slept in the tomb I watched Him rest just as you use to do when your daughter was a babe. The angels also watched in anticipation of the prophecy that He would rise again on the 3rd day. When that day came there was much rejoicing but not as much as the day He returned to Heaven…" End
Psa 22:1 My God, my God, why have You forsaken me, and are far from my deliverance, and from the words of my groaning?
Psa 22:18-24 They divide My garments among them and cast lots for My clothing. But You, O Jehovah, be not far from Me; O My strength, hurry to help Me...You have answered Me. I will declare Your name to My brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise You… For He has not despised nor hated the affliction of the afflicted; and He has not hidden His face from him, but when he cried to Him, He heard.
