The TRUTH is LOVE

Do we really know God? Do we really know Truth? What is the Word? What is Truth? What is Faith? What is Love? What is our Focus?
John 1:1 "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God."
Revelation 12:11 "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony."
Luke 18:7-8 "And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off? I tell you, He will see that they get justice and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?"
God will answer those who cry out to Him. The prayers of the faithful are not ignored. Yet Jesus asks the pointed question : "Will I find faith on the earth?" Without faith it is IMPOSSIBLE to please God.
Without faith we have nothing but delusion or illusion. I believe these are the days when our faith needs to become the concrete in our lives... The things seen give way to the things unseen. Faith will be the substance, and the substance that has been before will be that which crumbles.
Let he who thinks he stands take heed lest he fall... stand on the Word of God, on the solid Rock. "The grass whithers and the flowers fall, but the Word of God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8 If the TRUTH is all that remains, that is what we need to be standing on! There is not substitute!
Many have spoken of a "Shaking" coming upon the earth. I would agree that the shaking has already begun, and it began in the family of God... and if we can scarcely withstand it, what about the world? (1 Peter 4: 17-19) We who believe have no excuse not to live by faith ... that Faith is our life line without it, it is impossible to please God. It pleases God when we look to HIM, the author and finisher of our faith. If we don't look to Him, we will only see the shaking, we will fall.
God's word warns that there is coming a grand deception, and a great falling away... so that even 'the elect' would be deceived. How do we fight deception? With the TRUTH!
The Truth is God's Logos Word, and the Voice is God's Rhema Word. The Word of God is living and active and sharper than any two edged sword... cutting right to the intents of your heart.
So if that physical book (Bible) that we hold in our hands is taken away... the Living Word through the Holy Spirit would still be dividing between what is flesh and what is spirit, and cutting through to the intents of the heart. Many have come to know God's salvation in miraculous ways through the (God-breathed) words in the Bible.
People can read the Bible from a scientific position and come away with nothing... it is the Spirit of God that draws all men to Him, and He gives understanding. The Bible has been readily available and many have taken it for granted.
We have the privilege and honor of holding God's own Words in our hands and reading it with our eyes. We should write those Words on our hearts and store them up as our weapons of defense. Should there come the time when that physical word is removed... the Rhema Word (His Voice) will take its place... as the two are completely in agreement of one another.
God will never go against Himself... He honors His Word above His Name. It is Holy, It is Truth.
What is the best way to learn His Voice? Spend time with Him, ask Him to teach you to recognize it, to discern what is Him... He will! If you lack anything... understanding, wisdom, recognition of His voice... ask Him who will freely give it to you.
"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7:11
Now, knowing that the Lord won't give you what is evil... please pay attention to Jesus' further admonition in the same chapter.
Matthew 7:13-29 "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears goof fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.
Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heave n. Many will say to me on that day, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' Then I will tell them plainly, 'I never knew you, Away from me, you evildoers!'
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against the house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock.
But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down and the streams rose and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell with a great crash. When Jesus had finished saying these things, the crowds were amazed at his teaching, because he taught as one who had authority, and not as their teachers of the law."
There was an obvious difference between the words of our Lord Jesus and the teachers of the law. Many times people try to pass off their opinions as Scripturally supported truth. That is why we must not accept something just because it sounds good, nor are we to judge something being of God by whether someone is capable of performing miracles in Jesus' name.
Jesus didn't say to fear the enemy but to be aware of him. He knows that the enemy will employ any means to get us to have fear rather than faith, and to focus on anything rather than focus on Jesus Christ. Its all about Faith focus.
One of the big hindrances of our Faith focus is learning to speak the Truth in love. When we voice our opinions, we are often offended and respond accordingly when someone disagrees with us. There is arguing back and forth about who is right and who is wrong... often lacking in grace and love and just downright hurtful.
The answer is this: If we speak the TRUTH it will be in LOVE because Truth doesn't originate from us, it originates from LOVE because GOD is LOVE. If you are condemning another, that's not love. If you believe something is right or wrong and your brother doesn't, let the Lord deal with it, and to love them anyway.
Don't argue or set up stumbling blocks or spend time tearing one another down when you should be building up the Body of Christ and reaching the lost. Pray for them if they're really wrong ... that is love in action!
We often care more about being right than what is right. How many of us, when we disagree, actually go to the Lord in prayer and ask Him to examine our own hearts? Jesus said that we wouldn't have our prayers answered nor be forgiven if we don't forgive others.
Don't you think He meant it? Or has he made an exception for those who really get under your skin with their inability to see your viewpoint?
If you agree that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died and rose again for your sins and that He is the way the Truth and the life and no man comes to the Father but by HIM, then you are brothers and you agree about WHAT MATTERS. I am going to restate this point because I think it is of utmost importance.
If we speak the TRUTH it will be in LOVE because TRUTH doesn't originate from us, it originates from LOVE because GOD IS LOVE.
If we are to be overcomers, if we are to stand firm, we have to shore up in the Word, be aware of the enemy (it's not your brother!), HAVE FAITH in God, and love one another.
Forgive me if this seems like a wild ride... but its the one that the Word of God led me on today, so I wanted to share the excitement with all of you God Bless you all!
Susan
