New Dimensions Of Faith

I am writing this message during a very dark and not understanding the ways of God personally, but this message is the fruit of a searching personally. Many of you read of my accident last week...nearly fatal, and how God saved me, and looking after many details, in which I was home safe and sound...with just a twisted wrist, back pains...leg pains. But praise God, all in one piece. Today after a week of telephoning the mechanic, who repaired the car, adjusting time schedules, payment details, the damage was such that the bill was huge. Today the car was finished...and waiting on God, I got no physical response...indeed I am living a new experience. That is that NO HUMAN BEING CAN BE OUR TRUST AND SOURCE...the Bible talks about this trust in flesh as a cursed spiritual state. But in the "darkness" of my lack of understanding, I had gone to prayer...but not extensive in time but extensive in depth.
The Lord birthed this message in me. Many of you must receive countless messages in your mailboxes, but I ask you to take to heart what I am writing here as opening my heart to a new dimension, imparting it to you also. For I am sure you will come accross situations that will leave you without solution. Here I want to show you at length, what that solution can be from a prophetic and Biblical perspective.
The ressurrection of Jesus is replete with the misunderstandings of the purpose of God. What we see much in Luke is the disciples completely thrown by Jesus' crucifixion. We see them defeated, and whilst we cannot point the finger, because there are occasions where we too thrown into complete ignorance by apparent contrary circumstances. The Lord took me to Luke 24. He showed me the two disciples. He showed me their walk of complete dismay. Indeed their dreams and hopes were shattered. Read it for yourself and see.
Jesus came to them...in His Ressurrected state, in a way that they did not recognise Him. Their eyes were "holden", which is a spiritual act, temporary blindness of understanding. Of comprehension. They saw the Jesus they knew as a STRANGER. Jesus' question was a observation of their vociferous exchange of affirmations. He asked them what was the motive of their conversation in a manner so intense.
Key verse: v21; "But we trusted that it had been He which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done."
Indeed we see their heart...their hopes and dreams, their trust. All shattered...and even though they were 3 days on, their time HAD STOOD STILL...have you ever experienced that? Has your time stood still when you have experienced tragedy, or some other difficult circumstance? Theirs had.
I want you to notice something here. I may have mentioned it before. V19 shows us how these disciples saw Jesus...merely as a PROPHET. By the time Jesus is revealed HE IS NOW LORD. But what a process they must now embark to receive this REVELATION.
It starts by their eyes being holden. It starts by Jesus opening their hearts. Indeed their hearts were full of confusion, doubts and fears. He causes them to share their innermost thoughts and dreams. ~
Jesus then brings them revelation of His Word. His Word is the only light, is the only guidance. He shows THE ETERNAL PURPOSE OF SUFFERING CHRIST, AND THE FRUITS THEREOF. What a marvelous, wonderful and awesome perspective indeed.
How much more in our circumstances, so difficult and so disturbing, do we need that ETERNAL PROPHETIC REVEALING that comes from a source WE STILL DO NOT RECOGNISE. Indeed the Word comes, indeed the small voice does guide, BUT WE HAVE NOT GLIMPSED OUR GLORIFIED LORD! Not yet anyway. Jesus merely lays a foundation to walk into full revelation. Every revelation of Jesus is backed up in the Word. Indeed we must hear Him reveal the why and the fruit of our circumstances. Our circumstances once submitted to Christ must bring forth fruit. Indeed Christ opened up the eternal aspect of His Ministry.
How much more in us! He must open up to us the ETERNAL PLAN FOR US PERSONALLY. It is to save us, mould us and bring us into His Glory more and more through walking the steps of faith. He opens up former situations and shows us where He moved and what purpose.
Then as He is invited into their home, when He broke the bread and their eyes were opened, opened in covenant, there we see Jesus reveal His Glory...how He fulfils, how He initiates His Covenant in us, restoring to faith and hope. Now He is no longer the Prophet, but indeed Lord, because He that withstood such a proving, such a death, He overcame. How much more us, who come through DOUBT, ATTACKS, PERSECUTIONS will also partake of the same glory.
