A word for the Lord's People caught in despair

We all have experienced how one small candle can bring light to a dark room. Imagine a light bright enough to light the world in the darkest of times. Imagine even still a light that would make a conscious willful decision to stay lit in these times. This would seem to be a great opportunity to show the glory of His presence in lives, yet many called to be lights sadly remain hardly a flicker.

Oppression and depression have surrounded many of the Lord's own as they have focused on the darkness so much that they have forgotten their hope and promise of deliverance. Many trials, fires and battles have created a major struggle for spiritual survival. Weary from an overload of the enemy's attacks in various areas, many have slumped into despair and hopelessness.

The Lord has a word in Isaiah 60:1-2 (amplified) that says:

"Arise (from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you--rise to new life)! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you!

For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness (all) peoples, but the Lord shall arise upon you (O Jerusalem), and His glory shall be seen on you."

His glory that shall be seen on His people is His presence. We have all that will ever be needed to stand in the darkest of days that we will face. Jesus is with us and with that fact alone, we can worship and be thankful for his presence in our lives.

The Lord says,

" ARISE and be depressed no more. ARISE and stand in MY GLORY. STAND in the assurance that I AM with YOU. Stand because I have made a covenant promise with you that I will remain with you through the darkness. I will walk through the valley, and I will walk through the fire and I will bring you across to the other side to be with me forever. I will walk hand and hand with you up the mountain and we will sit in heavenly places together. Yes we will.

See ME now. Focus on Me again and not circumstances that have hindered your joy and your progress in Life. See My face alone again. Don't focus on the darkness but BEHOLD THE LIGHT OF MY GLORY in YOU. It is still there. You can be renewed again, but it requires a new level of faith. I will help you and this is what you must do.

Surrender the darkness to Me. Lay it on the alter. Lay it at my feet. Let me take the darkness and crush it's affects,as my light destroys it's power. I am with you. Turn away from the distressing scenes, depressing news, oppressing circumstances, and negativity that the world sends daily. Do not be distressed nor despair. Remember that I have told you before hand that these things must come upon the earth. They should be of no surprise. Reach into your heart and remember the presence that dwells with you of Myself, and be thankful. I chose you and loved you before you ever knew Me. I called you to Myself and you are Mine. Remember and think on these things and My joy will come as a refreshing well of water spilling up and out."
