What to look for in 2003: It Will Be A Time Of Joining & Separating

The Spirit of the Lord will be calling unto His Church to join Him - individually and collectively, to build His Kingdom. Before we can build with Him, His challenge is first to join Him, to unify ourselves with Him. This joining will be based on relationship not purpose. His call for us is to be able to say with confidence "I and my Father are one". The call of the Holy Spirit will be persistent, but not demanding or loud within our spirit.

As in the days when Christ physically walked the earth, His voice will say "he who has ears to hear, let him hear what the Spirit is saying." This hearing will require attentive listening, meaning your spirit must be reaching for Him at all times - 24/7. This will involve a willing sacrifice on your part as many are "daily Martha's -too busy during the day to hear what the Spirit is saying", so your spirit will hear Him first in the night, when everything calms down. Be ready to awake to His voice in the night!! This is not dreams and visions per se, but His voice - both literal (as in the audible voice of the Lord) and figuratively speaking. As you awaken to it and obey, the voice of the Spirit of God will become more manifest. Some will even receive their gifts and callings during this time and dramatic challenges and changes will come forth.

As you continue to awaken to His voice in the night, He will show you how to awaken your spirit to Him during the day. The key is staying in His peace which passes understanding. The enemy will continue to use activity and pressures of work/family to assail you and prevent you from entering this peace and rest of the Spirit. The assault of the enemy using activity and pressures of life upon you will be relentless, but "be of good cheer, for I have overcome the world, and you are more than an overcomer through me." Some of you will see remarkable victories in your life as you grab hold of "Christ in you, the hope of glory". Others will encounter defeats because of a failure to recognize and follow the leading of the Spirit of Christ. There will be a fine line between stepping into faith or fear. In other words, it will be easy for one to go from one side to another, so if you think you stand, be fearful, lest you fall. Your confidence must solely be in Christ!

Of Separating

The carnal mind cannot receive from the things of God. 2003 will be a time for many who call themselves Christians to ante up, for "My Spirit will not strive with man for ever..." In other words, you will be faced with decisions on many fronts to change your ways as well as your thinking. The call to the Bride to come forth will start, and this will involve a separating of your carnal part, from the world and it's attractions.

Again, understand that the voice of the Spirit will be persistent but not loud or overbearing. He will not bang you over the head or draw a line in the sand demanding your compliance with the things He shares with you. He will persistently continue to show you things for a season. But, He will slowly reduce the time and frequency of this if continued carnality/disobedience is shown, so that eventually, you will yearn like Saul to hear His departed voice, and will search out spiritists, mediums and even make up His voice within you. Such will be the state of deception to the carnal minded. Even so, you will see a separating start to manifest physically within the church on this issue. The false prophet and shepherd will be exposed.

You will see another cleaning occur in the house of the Lord as in the days when Jim Baker, Jimmy Swaggert and the like were exposed. Some prominent people will be exposed. The purpose in this is to your eyes off of man and to prepare the church to start to walk according to the leading of the Spirit of the Lord - to proclaim and understand that the captain of the host is Jesus!

The theme of joining and separating will also be seen in world events. Countries will form alliances, some announced and some covert.

The United Nations will come more into focus and worldwide attention in the coming days. They will start to develop and issue directives to individual nations on matters of economic, political and social interest. Global strategies and thinking will predominate action and reaction.

George Bush, as president of the United States Of America, will vie for the leadership role within the United Nations. But, this role will be challenged by several nations and will be one reason for the formation of covert alliances among nations that fear/disagree with the direction and ideals recommended by the USA to the United Nations. There will be a period of aggressive posturing of nations, especially those on the fringe of influence within the United Nations and those that don't belong. This aggressive posturing could result in serious consequences for the world if it is not handled correctly. Intercessors should concentrate prayer into this arena and ask the Lord for wisdom and discernment.

Important Scriptures for the above statements: 1. Jer 31:2,3 "Thus says the Lord, The people who survived the sword found grace in the wilderness- Israel, when it went to find its rest." 3 The Lord appeared to him from afar, saying, "I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore, I have drawn you with lovingkindness." 2. Ez 34: 1-31 3. Ez 37 The Valley of dry bones is representative of how the Lord will build us up individually in Him. The reunion of Judah and Israel (verses 15 -28) is representative of the joining of the body of Christ throughout the world - truly a dramatic and remarkable thing the Lord will initiate; it will be His doing.
