Remember To Be Merciful

Dream: Dec. 11, 2003

A few nights ago, on the early morning of Dec. 11th, I had a dream. In the dream, I was in the time of America’s trouble, and I remember that it was difficult days for everyone. It seemed that although it was hard times for everyone, it was harder for some than for others. I was standing in a doorway, and I saw others who were outside (without). I recall the Lord telling me to REMEMBER TO BE MERCIFUL in those days. I had a choice to close my door (my eyes, my purse, my home, my compassion, etc) and to ignore these people, or to be merciful. It will be days when people's instincts will be to hoard what they get for themselves and for their own family, to try to save and to protect themselves, and also to judge others who did not prepare and who rejected the warnings and who will be going through more difficult sufferings. But God wants us to remember to be merciful and to not judge others, during these days. I understood that, for example, if you prepared, and someone else didn't prepare because they didn’t believe the warnings, then you are to not judge them, but instead to be merciful if they come to you for help. Don't say, "I told you so", but rather give and be merciful. Also, if you see someone who rejected you, or treated you badly, or denied helping you during previous days, and then you see him worse off than you in those days, do not rejoice over his misfortune, or judge him, or think in your heart that he deserved it, but rather show mercy. Guard your heart very carefully during these days.

I heard these 2 scriptures:

"Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy." - Matthew 5:7

"For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath showed no mercy..." - James 2:13.

MERCY means to EXTEND GRACE TO HE WHO DOESN'T DESERVE IT.

I know this message sounds so basic... and IT IS! But this can also be the hardest thing to do sometimes. Yet this is the heart of the Father for His children... to be perfect as He is perfect; to have no guile in our mouths or hearts.

Since I had this dream, I have been sorely tested! I who deserve judgment, have been shown mercy by God through Christ, so I must follow in my Master's footsteps and also show mercy to others.

Luke 6:35-37

35. But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

36. Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

37. Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:

I understood that the Lord was telling me these things now, so that when it happens, then I would remember.

Now, I am telling you… so that when these things happen, then you will also remember.
