How Will We Ever Be Changed?

Ron McGatlin

God continues to move across the land changing the paradigm of our lives. While many revel in pagan celebration of Christmas with all its traditions from wild office parties to lovely family celebrations and retailers vie for the dollars being spent to fulfill men's traditions of Christmas, God is yet seeking. Even while the great spirit of "Santa Clause" (which literally means saint of covering) continues to shroud the reality of Christ and His kingdom, God continues to faithfully seek those who will give up their lives to worship Him in Spirit and truth.

God is seeking to change the world by changing us. He is raising up a mountain of pure hearted true worshipers. One of the greatest enemies to change is tradition. Mankind clings to traditions in the face of overwhelming need to change. I am not proposing here that Christmas traditions must be changed. That is not the subject here; but rather Christmas traditions are an example of the depth of traditions in mankind. Only by abandonment of our life's ways can we come to the new paradigm of His ways. The value system of much of the world is upside down. The world view of many Christians is reversed from God's.

How will we ever be changed?

God must and is intervening in the affairs of mankind. Father is first invading our lives with His passionate love. He is kissing the world with immeasurable unconditional all consuming love. From the vilest criminals to self righteous religious leaders hearts are melting in the presence of the fire of His passion. God's love for His people knows no limits. He longs for the pure worship and praise of our living in total devotion to Him. King Jesus passionately longs for the kisses of pure love and devotion from His Bride in pure worship and intimate communion. God is changing us by His love.

Father will also invade our lives with the passionate wrath of His love. Wrath will come to those who reject such a great love and choose other gods of man's traditions and deceiving spirits. Loving the things in this world above God who created them is perversion and will lead to perdition. Not because God is unloving but because He is love, wrath will come upon those who continue to value (worship) the things of this world and the enemy's perversions above God and His holy ways. God will intervene and kiss the world with fiery wrath. Redemptive judgment is part of the love of God changing people to change the world.

Father will have His sons and Jesus will have His Bride to rule as Christ in the world and restore honor to the hallowed name of God.

Gal 4:19 My little children, for whom I labor in birth again until Christ is formed in you,

Mat 6:9-10: After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.
