Isa 35:8 8 And a highway will be there; it will be called the Way of Holiness. The unclean will not journey on it; it will be for those who walk in that Way; NIV

Lately, I have been seeing a bridge that has been revealed to me as a highway. This highway represents Jesus and journeying along this Highway comes as we apply the faith we have been given through the knowledge of the Word.

The Holy Spirit teaches us and reveals Christ to us WITHIN what we already know. Amazingly, the new life birthed from within will always exceed our previous boundaries of faith. This principal of understanding is based on the blessings God bestows on our seed that we may prosper and be multiplied. It is important not to measure prosperity through financial and material blessings only. You can be prospering greatly in the Lord spiritually, and be lacking in your finances. God is faithful and gracious to deliver us through our times of lack. It is always important to view these times as temporary so that we never loose focus on the original vision of restoration we are given. Without this understanding, it is possible to adapt ourselves to accept present circumstances as permanent. The principal of sowing seed to reap a harvest originates from the order that is established in our very own lives and homes. Where we experience blessings upon our seed, we recognize God's favor resting upon us. Whenever, I have been lead into greater knowledge and understanding in the Lord, I have always seen the anointing make a full circle around me where I was standing. God's provisions and protection surrounds us from every side. Our journey with Jesus along this Highway continually reveals God's heart and will to us so that we may stay aligned to His purposes.

We can compare the design of the seed to what God created in us through body, spirit and soul. From within the outer shell of the seed that is planted into the ground, the life within breaks out to take root in the soil of purpose it is planted in. The new life is no longer enclosed or restricted by the outer shell that once separated it from the spirit life it was meant to dwell in. In overcoming our own personal weakness and limitations, we also overcome the enemy where he has access to exalt his own authority above our personal revelation of Christ. True authority in Christ will always lead us to dwell in the liberty, peace and rest of God. True authority purposes to establish us in our own faith. This is the abundant life that Christ came to give us. The life that we loose in order to gain this abundant life in Christ is crucified with the outer shell or our outer man.

Remember, Jesus is revealed to us from within us. Where we witness Christ in others, the witness in us leaps for joy. In this witness of the Holy Spirit, life desires to connect to life to allow Christ to be manifest beyond our own personal faith.

This Highway of Holiness is also a road of righteousness, but righteousness is not measured by being right. Righteousness is measured by our own hearts desire to seek the will and purpose of God in all that we do. Righteousness will cause you to lay down your own rights where you have been wronged. Righteousness never justifies men before men. Righteousness always justifies us through faith and faith is what we extend to others. Jesus provides this bridge and Highway to us through what He did through His own life. While we were in sin, He became the Way that would lead us to experience our salvation that frees us from sin.

Gal 2:16 So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified. Along our own personal Highway that Christ maps out for us, we yield ourselves to be tested where we are weak and where we are most vulnerable. In our weaknesses, we do not abound with knowledge of the Lord. The glorious revelation that we seek in the Lord only comes where we have allowed ourselves to be made weak and foolish. God's habitation is not in our abilities and His strength is only given to us where we have allowed our weaknesses to be revealed.

Be blessed in your own intimate journey on this Highway with the Lord.
