All Consuming Fire

"Our God is a consuming Fire"

John said that there was One who was to come that would baptise in the Spirit and Fire. That would be Jesus!

I am reminded of a story that I once heard as a child when listening to a missionary from Mozambique. He told of an incident when he, his father and grandfather were on the mission field together, and one evening, they were camping out in the open and built a fire to keep warm. After the fire was built, they were sitting around it for some time, and all of a sudden, the ground began to shake, rumble and roar. They first thought it was an earthquake, but soon to find out differently. Out of the fire came what first seemed to be an explosion, but they soon realized that they had built their fire over the hole of a python. The fire had become so intense, that the snake exploded out of its hole and was destroyed right there in there midst.

I am also reminded of when Paul was ministering in Malta, in the 28th chapter of Acts, the people built a fire to keep warm, and the heat of the fire drove out a viper and it attached itself to Paul's arm. The people saw the power at work in Paul's life as he shook the serpent off into the fire, and was left unharmed!

God is saying today that there are many of His people who were at one time filled with the oil of His Spirit, but are now empty. They have allowed the traditions, religion, false doctrines, habit's and addictions to bind them up and prevent the fruit of righteousness from their lives. They are following "word's" and "sign's, wonder's and miracles" for fulfillment rather than these things following them.

There is a call from the Father to once again "burn for Him!' He is the Fire, and we are to seek Him, be continuously full of Him, consumed by Him. This alone will drive out the Python's and Viper's that have tried to attached themselves to the son's of God.

The people of God will then be released to freely flow in their gifts and callings as God the Father desires for His son's. This will bring the fruit of righteousness pleasing to Him. The Church will burn for Him if the fire is burning in the hearts and homes of the people, and not until then.

There must be true worship, in Spirit and Truth, in the hearts of men. There must be true worship, in Spirit and Truth, in the homes of God's people. This will then produce a Church, truly without spot or wrinkle, as spoken of in Revelation.

If we abide in Him, our hearts will burn for Him! On the road to Emmaus, the disciples, once they discovered who they had been walking with, said "Did not our hearts burn within us?"

I ask you, is you heart burning within you, with the passion and fire of God? If there is any other passion within you, let us agree together that God will consume that wild fire and replace it with His very presence, the All Consuming Fire!!! There is no time to waste. If you want this fire in full intensity, I will agree with you for it, and the Bible says that where two or more agree together in His Name, whatever we ask for will be given unto us.
