A City Awaits You

REV 21:15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. [16] The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. [17] He measured its wall and it was 144 cubits thick, by man's measurement, which the angel was using. [18] The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. [19] The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third chalcedony, the fourth emerald, [20] the fifth sardonyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. [21] The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of pure gold, like transparent glass.
REV 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. [23] The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. [24] The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. [25] On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. [26] The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. [27] Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
REV 22:1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb [2] down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. [3] No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. [4] They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. [5] There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
VISION
(In a vision the Lord showed me a beautiful rose that was opening up. As I watched it open I noticed that there were various things that were flying out of it. It was as if there were a fountain coming out of the center of the rose that propelled these objects outwardly. I noticed a person playing a musical instrument. There was someone who held a paintbrush and a palette in his hand. All around the parameter of the rose's opening were people doing various types of activities. The sense that I had was that these represented the works that would follow those who had done this type of work upon the earth. )
(The scene then changed and now I was looking at a cube in the air of some kind. As I watched I noticed that within this cube there were walls and buildings. I saw someone who held a measuring stick or rod, that was being used to measure the walls of this cube, and the city which was within it. I saw gates set at intervals for each wall, and within the structure I saw a beautiful city.)
The Lord said:
"At that day you will behold the New Jerusalem. The city as you know it, is being planned for those who would come to be with Me. It is a city like unto no other. Its walls are set with precious jewels. Your names are inscribed within. So, look past all the walls of this present age. A city awaits you. The trees in this city will bring healing to the nations. Gone will be the years of sorrow and death. A little child will live out its years there. There will be singing and playing upon the streets of that city. There will be neither day nor night. For the light from my Son will be your everlasting light. "
(I now saw the city again and noticed that the gates were open. They seemed to swing back and forth, but were always in a position of being opened. Then I saw that there was an angel posted at the front of each of the gates.)
"I have said that the gates of my city would always remain opened. But these gates are also like the gates of your heart. The walls of your heart are to remain opened to the things of my spirit. Those who are outside of the city are not to be let into it. But those who are a part of my city are there to be with Me forever. Look past the turmoil of this age, and see that I have a city awaiting. you. It is more beautiful than you can imagine. It shines with a brilliance that none can even imagine. The days ahead may become difficult days, but if you keep this city in your hearts, then you will have hope that you will be carried through it. "
When Will You Schedule A Meeting With Me

Introduction
I'm certain that many of us have been involved in some type of meeting at one time or another. I don't know about you but I am amazed at all of the meetings that a person could be involved in. There are certainly meetings at school, particularly if you are a parent and have a child in school. I also teach high school so I know and have experienced what it is like to be involved in a myriad of different meetings. I have also led meetings and know the importance of keeping to an agenda. As mentioned in the word below, there are of course, church meetings as well. Perhaps these can become very much like what happens everywhere. By that I mean, that it is run like a business and there is a clock on the wall. So much time is allotted and one person usually runs it. We are such a busy society. We lead such busy, busy lives. We need to slow down and find the time to just rest and be with our Lord. He will then pour back into our lives the things and the agendas that are important for us.

LK 10:41 "Martha, Martha," the Lord answered, "you are worried and upset about many things, [42] but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better, and it will not be taken away from her."
"Where have all my people gone? Where are those who would stand in the gap for Me? For I tell you that "busyness" has invaded my people's lives. Meetings here and meetings there; is there no end to your meetings?
--school board meetings, church board meetings; meetings over lunch, meetings over dinner, and meetings over breakfast. When will you schedule a meeting with Me? You have time for everything else in your life, when will you have time for Me? I tell you that the busyness of life will bring people to their knees. It is more important to spend time with Me than any of your meetings. For your meetings reflect your earthly agendas. But when you spend time with Me then I will let you know what your agendas should be. Are your agendas framed according to my timeframe upon earth? Do your agendas look over the hills and past the sunsets? Do your agendas consider the poor and the starving? Do your agendas represent a hierarchy of believers? You record the minutes. You make sure everyone has a chance to speak, but when can I share my plan? Is there an empty chair that is waiting for Me?
Reserve the best place for Me at your meals. Reserve the best place for Me at your schools. Reserve the best place for Me wherever you are at. I will elevate you as kings and queens to live with Me for ever and ever. If you provide a place for Me then your place will be secure. The time will come when everything will be upset and turned upside down. You won't have your riches. You won't have your fancy lifestyles. There are a number of years allotted for you to live out your lives upon this earth. Then this earth as you know it, will be done away with. The end of all things is coming. Will you be ready for it? Is there a place for Me in your house, says the Lord? "
"Finally, come to together in the Lord. Put away the childish things that you disagree with. There are many different groups of believers. Some receive the gifts of the spirit and some do not. Some believe we will go through a tribulation and some believe we will not. Find the foundational things that you agree upon. Then the enemy's plan of separating and dividing will have failed. "
