Time of Commissioning

John Begg

God has been talking to me about God's church entering into a period of Commissioning, a time where people are going to be released into a time when their ministries will begin to take off, new doors will open and will not be shut.

Many ministries and people are in a state, knowing their calling, but realising that they are not functioning in true authority or power. Many are clothed with past failures, disappointments, presumption, shame, condemnation and sin.

In Zechariah 3 we see the High priest Joshua is standing in front of God, clothed in filthy garments with satan accusing and slandering him before God.

But God is now replacing the soiled robes with fine and new robes the robe of Christ's righteousness. Not cleaned robes but brand new.

We also see God command for a new turban to be placed upon his head. The turban is talking about headship, position, authority and power.

In this time God is going to release His ministers (not man's but His) male and female, young and old, new and preexisting ministries into a time of commissioning with a new authority, position and power.

V8; they will become symbols of the good things to come.

This is going to be a sign to the church and the world.

Our response needs to be like Moses when God commissioned him, (Exodus 3), take off our sandals, come to Him in humility.

Like Isaiah in Isaiah 6, be undone in Gods presence.

Like the prodigal son in Luke 15, come back to the Father, not with any more programs or schemes, demands but broken and Let Him clothe us with a new robe, the ring of position and authority and sandals complete restoration.
