Thus Saith the Lord; August 9, 2002

My beloved, I speak to My church, My people. I never expect the worldly to listen for their hearts are cold and far from Me. I am truly saddened, however, that so many of My own are turning back to the world. Even now many of My people are accepting the idea of a world religion to keep everyone satisfied. I have always told you that I would only have a remnant; a remnant that will continue in the grace of God regardless of the circumstances surrounding them.

Persecution of My true church is spreading and growing at a very rapid pace. It will include your nation. It is coming quickly … are you close enough to Me to be prepared? Too many of My people feel they are already cleansed and purified. How sad for those complacent ones for they will very quickly turn their backs on Me when they come under any pressure whatsoever. It is not a social game you are playing, it is rather your eternal soul you compromise if you refuse to let go of the world and yield all to Me. Lay your life on My altar. When I say that I demand blood, not flowers, it is because blood indicates life and it is your very lives I demand. YES, I AM A DEMANDING GOD FOR I AM A JEALOUS GOD. I AM JEALOUS FOR THE LOVE OF MY PEOPLE.

Remember when I prayed for all who would one day belong to Me? (JOHN 17) I asked the Father to keep you safe from the evil one, but not to take you out of this world. You are not of the world as I am not of the world. It is My Word that sanctifies you for MY WORD IS TRUTH, AND WHEN YOU ARE TRULY MY OWN MY PRESENCE SANCTIFIES YOU. I do not tell you to be strong in these last days but to use My strength.

Beloved, look to Me only. The worldly are very adept at telling lies to satisfy any real curiosity of the people. You will not be confused by political and governmental lies if you listen ONLY TO THE VOICE OF YOUR LORD. You must not only LISTEN TO MY VOICE BUT YOU MUST OBEY MY VOICE. I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE. THERE IS ETERNAL LIFE IN NO OTHER. You daily hear many half-truths so you need My discernment. Tune out the world and its lies and LISTEN TO MY VOICE. MY SHEEP KNOW MY VOICE AND THEY HEAR ME AND I GIVE UNTO THEM ETERNAL LIFE. I am your source for life eternal and your only source. I AM THE RESURRECTION AND THE LIFE; HE THAT BELIEVES IN ME, THOUGH HE WERE DEAD YET SHALL HE LIVE; AND WHOSOEVER BELIEVES IN ME SHALL NEVER DIE. Oh My beloved, know and understand this with every fiber of your being and therefore you will have peace.
