More On 2003

I sense that God is indeed making something special out of 2003. Usually I seek God in great earnestness as the year comes to a close, hoping to hear prophetically what the New Year is bringing. This year, so far, has been totally different. I have not sought at all as it is yet early in December, but without solicitation, The Spirit of the Lord has begun quite a dialog with me.
It will be a year of much change, both physically and internally (spiritually), yet the major emphasis of the Spirit will be the changes God will make in us individually, as He draws us into a strong one-on-one relationship with Him.
It will be a year in which a premium will be placed upon hearing God's voice and doing exactly what He is says. Efforts done in any other fashion will provide little, if any, fruit. The Lord would have us seek Him early and often for fresh new rhema concerning our lives.
This is a year in which we will not live by bread alone, but by every word we hear God speak to us personally. Decisions made upon hearing the rhema word of God will translate into energy, opportunity, and enabling power. When you hear and obey you will be given energy, opportunity, enabling power, AND RESOURCES to complete your task successfully. Always wait until you hear lest you move on your own, without heaven's backing. In 2003 God's enabling power will cause us to succeed in all we undertake through His directives. He is watching over His word to perform it.
Parts of 2003 will be uncomfortable as these changes take place, but do not kick against the goads, for the changes are necessary for His ultimate purpose and our destiny. Recognize that anything growing must change; therefore be open, be flexible, be willing to change as the Spirit of God directs.
We are to allow ourselves to be joined to those people, entities, geographical locations, organizations, and greatest of all, to God Himself as the Holy Spirit continues to separate us from flesh and join us to that of His Spirit. Prosperity and productivity will be the result of these joinings and changes. Traditions and soul-ties that have blocked us in the past will lose their hold as we seek Him for the joinings and changes of His calling.
Even now we know something is different as we approach and enter into this New Year. Many who have worn grave clothes for years will wear grave clothes no more. Even now God's Spirit is filling us with EXPECTATION as we count the days until January 1st, 2003.
