Divine Grace Heavenly Love Infinite Mercy Fathomless Peace Love Covenant John 15

For I have called you to come into the secret chambers of solitary communion. They are dark, but out of darkness comes great treasures. The dazzle and glitter of this world is attractive to the eye of the carnal man, but I would closet you away in the secret places of humility and discipline of soul, denying the things that pertain to the outward man in order to perfect the inner life and enrich your knowledge of Me.

The Necessity of Discipline; Have I not said that unless you experience chastening, you may well doubt your sonship? Why then will you shrink from my rod of correction? You are not the teacher, but the pupil, Not the parent, but the child, Not the vine, but the branch. Discipline and correction must come if you are to be brought into conformity to My divine will. Shun nothing My hand brings to bear upon your life.

Accept My blessings and My comfort, but do not despise My sterner dealings. All are working toward your ultimate perfection. Do you hope to be made perfect apart from the correction process? Do you expect to bear large fruit with out the pruning process? No My children either bend in submission to My hand, or you will break in rebellion. Godly sorrow yields the good fruit of repentance. But if you will be brittle and unyielding, you shall know a grief in spirit for which there is no remedy. Keep a flexible spirit so that I may mold you and shape you freely. So that I can teach you readily and not be detained by your resistance. I need disciplined sons and daughters.

To entertain self-will is to court disqualification. You cannot do My work to my satisfaction except you do it in accordance to My specifications. If you refuse My loving care of you, you shall be cut down by others who have no concern for you soul. Even as I said of the salt, if it lose it's savor, it is good for nothing, but shall be trodden under foot. If the branch bear no fruit, It shall be gathered up and burned.

Do not relax in false peace, Do not negate My love by refusing My discipline. My love is not indulgence. I have much to accomplish in fulfilling My will. I cannot pamper your will when it is running counter to mine. Be no longer spoiled children, allowing the emotions of the old nature to invade your spiritual fellowship. For while there are jealousies and competition and suspicions. You are still allowing the carnal nature to reign. In fact even to infiltrate your Spiritual gifts.

My patience is running to an end, says the Lord, for I have purposed and man has despised. I have planned, and man has made it of no effect. I have willed and you have resisted Me. Don't be smug in your own ways, for your ways are not My ways, says the Lord. You are indulgent when I have called you to rigid discipline. You speak soft words when I would require of you to speak the truth. You interfere with the convicting work of My Holy Spirit when you smooth over confession.

I am not a severe God, unmindful of the frailties of human nature. But I am a God of divine love and holiness. I desire your fellowship and I long for you to know the joy of mine. Man cannot forgive sin. Why do you excuse either yourself or your brother? Before Me you stand or fall. Confess your faults one to another and pray for one another that you may be perfected.

Rebuke, warn, and exhort each other with all longsuffering, patience and Love and forgive each other. Do not lighten conviction. My Love and My Holiness are beyond your comprehension. I do not love you because you are sinless, (how then could I love any?) But I am able to receive you into My fellowship and bring you close to My heart on the precious shed blood of My Son Jesus Christ.

Here only rests your hope of cleansing and acceptance. Here is the only door of access between sinful man and a Holy God. But here indeed is all that you need. Why then do you set about to excuse and rationalize your sins when the way of confession and forgiveness stands open to you?
