The Twin Towers, Enron And The Liberty Tree Feb. 6, 2002

What do the Twin Towers, Enron, and the Liberty Tree have in common you ask? Each of these three represent pillars of American society and strength from our roots up. Yet, they've all fallen. One by external attack, one by internal corruption and one by hurricane Floyd. All within the last 2 years.

The following scriptural prophecy is in its beginnings even now.

Haggai 2:3-7,9 "Who is left among you who saw this temple (America in the context of this article) in its former glory? And how do you see it now in comparison with it? Is it not in your eyes as nothing? Yet now be strong Zerubbabel (political leadership) says the Lord, and be strong Joshua, son of...the high priest (church leadership)(the scriptures authorize 2 types of government, political and spiritual) and be strong all you people of the land says the Lord and work (in rebuilding the temple, see 1:2), for I am with you says the Lord of Hosts. According to the word that I covenanted with you (our founding fathers) when you came out of Egypt (slavery to foreign government), so my Spirit remains among you: DO NOT FEAR. (emphasis mine) For thus says the Lord of Hosts: Once more ... I will shake heaven and earth, the sea and dry land and I will shake all nations, and they shall come to the Desire of All Nations (Jesus) and I will fill this temple with glory, says the Lord of Hosts... The glory of this latter temple shall be greater than the former... and in this place I will give peace says the Lord of Hosts".

The shaking Must precede the full restoration and glory of the latter temple.

Indeed, we are in the days when the glory of the Lord is rising upon His people and darkness is covering the earth and deep darkness the peoples. (Isa. 60:1,2)

God is in the process of shaking us as nations, churches, individuals, etc. Everything that can be shaken (that which man has built) will be shaken and reduced to "ground zero". Don't get me wrong. God did not cause the Twin Towers to fall but He did have to allow it. It is the fault of the people of God who fell asleep on their watch. We did hit the snooze button. It is our responsibility to be vigilant in our intercession. Many no doubt were, but not enough, self included. Psalm 115:16 "The heaven, even the heavens are the Lord's, but the earth hath He given to the children of men". Nevertheless, it was a work of the devil. We are at fault, but the devil is the blame and the cause. We are being reduced, humbled, brought low and the King of Kings will in the process rebuild us (latter temple) according to His pattern, plan and rule.

What is true of the Twin Towers in the natural, (i.e. the World Trade CENTER, an epitome of the works of man), is also true of Enron. Enron is perhaps the world's largest "power" supplier from "earthly resources" (which are non-renewable). It's interesting the recent interest in solar (heavenly) power (which is renewable) to the end that even San Francisco is investing $100,000,000 into it. That's a prophetic statement in itself. (1 Cor. 15:46) Enron is the tallest tower in the "power" business and has collapsed figuratively. (They do have a huge skyscraper in Texas). What is coming down is the pride of man.

Thirdly, the Liberty Tree in West Virginia was damaged irreparably by Hurricane Floyd in 1999 and subsequently cut down. This Liberty Tree was the last of 13. Each of the 13 colonies had one. This one was approximately 400 years old, lasting about 100 years longer than any of the others. In the last turn of the century it was damaged and was marvelously saved and restored somewhat in 1907 when concrete was poured into its hollow trunk (interesting) and into its roots in the ground. However that, even then spoke and prophesied of the fragility of our liberty being artificially propped up and prolonged by the works of man.

The Liberty Trees were the gathering places, the banner and shade under which the patriots would meet and strategize, hear speeches, and celebrate their independence among other things, during and after the Revolutionary War. They were rallying points of hope, vision and unity. Oh, if those trees could talk!

This last one was brought down. Our liberty , as we have known it has been largely based on nationalism as opposed to true patriotism, i.e.national "pride". God is humbling us even in that. I believe the crack in our Liberty Bell speaks prophetically of a crack (pride) in the foundation of our country. Yes, clearly God sent our founding fathers here and we are founded on Biblical principles. But we must be founded upon the Rock, Christ Jesus, not just Biblical principles. Our national pride needs to become national humility. God is restoring our liberty but it will not be founded on national pride but in Christ Jesus. Gal. 5:1 "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage". (slavery to legalism and control)

We as a world are in the threshold of the 7th millenium since Adam. Biblically, that's the 7th day (2 Pet. 3:8). The Bible teaches that Christ will reign on the earth for 1000 years (Rev. 20:4-6) as King of (over) Kings and Lord of (over) Lords whom He has installed and ordained to rule with Him. The 7th day is a day of rest (Gen. 2:2). The 6 days (6 thousand years)(6 is the number scripturally representing man and his works) are over. The works of man are coming down and the Lord is setting up His construction crews to rebuild solid foundation (apostles, prophets, etc.). We have reached the end of our Ishmaels and the Lord will reduce and rebuild us His way and we will be at rest under His type of government.

The stage is being set for this to take place but will take a number of years and tears to play out.

Currently, It's "a time of war". (Ecclesiastes 3:8) We know it in the natural and the Holy Spirit has prophesied it through men such as Rick Joyner and Chuck Pierce.

I had a very clear prophetic dream on Sept. 16, 2001 (that I pray is wrong) that WW3 would begin by June 3. (Thankfully, the year was not clear). 8 days later, I was in McDonalds in the Minneapolis airport and found a very rare 1941 S wheat penny at the counter. That's as busy a hub of activity in the heartland of America as anywhere. I knew God had placed it there as a message. 1941 was the year we got involved in WW2.

God also spoke to me on Dec. 3, 2000 that "Justice would be birthed in 2001" and a "new breed of warriors would be raised" (youth harvest) and to "pray for their lungs" (to be able to receive the breath of God, the wind of the Holy Spirit) for "they would be born premature". (That speaks to me of their youthfulness and immaturity) and that a dog would lay down his life to save the baby (the youth being born into the Kingdom). The dog speaks of the Calebs (which means "dog") i.e. the spiritual fathers who have faithfully waited and equipped them as an army to lead them into their Promised Land and into their destinies in God and are willing to lay their lives down for them as God restores the hearts of the fathers and sons to one another. After Sept.11, President Bush said in a speech, "We will bring them to justice or we will bring justice to them". President Bush and our nation are emissaries of that justice on the natural level and the apostles and prophets I believe are (in part) God's spiritual hands of justice against our foes. We are following God's will in bringing justice. Through our adversity many warriors are being birthed in the military and in the kingdom of God. Our unity is being galvanized both politically and spiritually to bring forth justice, not just against human terrorists but spiritually "taking the kingdom by force" to the end that "now, salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of HIs Christ have come, for the accuser of the brethren... has been cast down". (Rev. 12:10)

I believe this war could very well be WW3 and the 3rd war depicted in a vision received by our founding President, George Washington at Valley Forge. (I recently received a vision of the words "Valley Forge"). His vision can be read at www.flintnet.org.

Where the last Liberty Tree stood was on the grounds of St. John's College. That speaks prophetically regarding the gospel of St. John. The gospel of John represents and speaks of Jesus as the glorified Son of God. It contains His prayer for our unity in chapter 17. I believe we are in the beginning stages of seeing the Son of God being glorified in His people and the early seeds of His prayer for our unity being answered to the end that the manifestation of the sons of God (Rom. 8:19) brings us into "the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ" (Eph. 4:11-13).

The Liberty Tree has more to prophesy to us. The last Liberty Tree was cut down and the ground there was made smooth. We no longer have the shade of our earthly liberty to meet under but now are on level ground (Matt.24:2) where we must learn to abide under the shadow of His wing. (Ps. 91:1)(911!) That is our place of refuge to strategize and celebrate. The parts of the 90 foot Liberty Tree were hauled away to the dump (place of refuse) and at the last opportunity were retrieved from the fires (as will we be) and sold to the Taylor guitar Company for posterity and making special edition guitars. Like the blood of Abel crying out of the ground and the blood of our forefathers who fought for freedom, so too does the Liberty Tree. For it is like a seed fallen into the ground and springing forth into new life. The flag with 13 stars is inlaid into the headstock of the Liberty Tree guitars. It declares the banner of Jesus Christ as the head of the new apostolic breed, Jesus being the 13th Apostle, the true revolutionary, overturning our ways for His. A Declaration of Independence scroll is imbedded into the fretboard and the soundboard of the guitars and will be declaring new songs and new sounds from a wood never used for guitars (poplar, a member of the Populus family) and we will have a new Declaration of Independence imbedded into our spirits and singing new songs of praise to our King. They are even being introduced in the spring of the year speaking of new life. There will be about 400 of these guitars made which is a reminder of the 400 years of bondage in Egypt God has delivered from. God always reserves for Himself a remnant and these, in a figure represent those of the great populous (harvest) who will be God's remnant. They will sound out the songs from the blood of our founding fathers and once again, America will be rebuilt with a true liberty under Jesus Christ the King.

Ps. 126:1-6 ""When the Lord brought back the captivity of Zion, we were like those who dream, then our mouth was filled with laughter and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them, The Lord has done great things for us, and we are glad." Bring back our captivity, O Lord, as the streams in the south. those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing shall doubtless come again with rejoicing bringing his sheaves with him.""

No, things will never be the same. That is good. Eventually they will be better. Certainly these are difficult times, but this too shall pass. We must stay close to the Lord to hear His voice.

Jeremiah 29:11-14a "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me and I will listen to you and you will seek Me and find Me. When you search for Me with all your heart I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I WILL bring you back from your captivity..."
