This dream occurred on the night of September 13, 1993. On this date Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin of Israel and Chairman Yasser Arafat, PLO Leader, signed a Declaration of Principles in Washington, D.C. on the grounds of the White House that would lead toward a permanent Palestinian status in Israel. http://www.israel.org/mfa/go.asp?MFAH00r70 This dream is prophetic in content regarding Jerusalem. It also reveals apathy by many saints in the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth world wide about end time events currently taking place in Israel between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

DREAM

JERUSALEM

A) I stood under a running shower as I lathered my head and body. Suddenly, I was standing outdoors wearing only a large blue bath towel firmly wrapped around me while bare shouldered with exposed legs, bare feet and wet hair. It was a dark cloudy day.

B) I stood in the center of a great open public square surrounded by ancient architecture in the midst of a large gathering of people, mostly young men and some older men as they went about their affairs. Many of the men were of Middle Eastern descent in appearance while many others were of a fairer complexion in appearance. Although some of the older Middle Eastern men wore long robed clothing and cloth headdress, the younger men wore current western style clothes, as did the fairer men.

C) While standing in the public square men walked past me without acknowledging my strange appearance in their midst. Apparently they could not see me. Ahead of the square was a narrow arched pedestrian white stone bridge. It stood empty. I did not take notice of what was on the other side. The crowd walked past the bridge and was not aware of it. I did not see any women.

D) As I looked at the bridge ahead of me there suddenly appeared a high white wall with two huge carved white stone rabbit heads sitting on the high ledge to the right side of the bridge from where I stood. They had very long ears and were positioned together sideways. Both rabbit heads faced left, giving the appearance of one in front of the other. I stood about sixty feet away from the wall.

Next, my sight instantly "zoomed" up close to carefully study every detail of the heads. They were exquisitely carved out of white marble, and they seemed to have endured through time weathered elements. However, there were no signs of damage to them. Their faces and ears were gracefully carved with soft contours. They were quite a sight to behold, almost as though they were of a high order. There were no rough edges, not even a crack or a chip in either head. The rabbits’ ears pointed directly back in a horizontal position as though tense and alert about something behind them. As I studied both figures I became aware of the crowd’s sounds of growing angry yells behind me with clamoring hostilities building up in their midst.

E) Now, I stood alone in the center of the great open square. I turned to the left and in the distance I saw an enormous churning counter-clockwise column of black smoke in front of the angry hostile crowd of Middle Eastern men. Incredibly, there were huge burning flames at the top of the evil looking smoke column. The flames shot downward as the black smoke billowed, rolling downward toward the ground as well. It was quite a bizarre and alarming sight to behold: fire flames shooting downward!

F) Now I turned to the right and also saw an identical column of black smoke with flames also shooting downward from the top. It too churned directly in front of the opposing angry crowd. I quickly looked to the left again at the other angry crowd that was now rushing toward the crowd to my right. They both approached each other in a rush. However, the most interesting thing to see were both of the black smoke columns keeping pace in front of each crowd as they approached each other. I quickly looked ahead and fled toward the bridge. The wall and rabbit heads had disappeared. When I got closer to the bridge I turned around to see the columns of smoke merging together to become one horrendous column of downward billowing black smoke as the flames continued shooting downward at the top.

Both crowds were jeering and yelling angrily at each other while throwing rocks and other objects at each other. As they came closer to each other my sight suddenly "zoomed" close again. This time it was to an elderly, thin, frail looking man. He had a white beard and was small in stature, about five feet tall. He wore a long white robe such as worn by Muslim men. He was immaculate in appearance and wore a white round flat top "hat" also worn by Muslims. I noticed the meticulous embroidery work around the flat brim. (I’ve seen this particular type of "hat" worn by young, middle aged and old men on television news programs as they prayed in their mosques, or worn at other times.) This old man seemed different, almost like a mullah (a Moslem religious teacher or leader. An "imam" is a prayer leader of Islam; an authority of Islamic law). He bent down and picked up a rock. As he swung his right arm back to throw the rock, he instantly "froze" in that position. While he remained "frozen" I was able to closely study his features and apparel up close.

In a peculiar way, it seemed that as both crowds’ hostilities intensified toward each other the number of men on each side began to multiply in size, and both crowds got larger in number by the minute. The objects they carried in their hands and also in their arms became numerous and larger. I could not quite make out what their weapons were as strangely enough my sight had refocused and I could no longer study details up close. Some appeared to be weapons of warfare. I stood close to the bridge at a distance from the crowd and watched as violence broke out. Some of the younger men had already reached each other and had begun hand combat fighting while others began swinging sticks and clubs violently at each other. The horrific downward flaming smoke column now loomed above the rapidly growing crowd. I became extremely alarmed, quickly turned around and ran onto the bridge in great fear.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth

G) I arrived at a fairly large square modern building built with red bricks. I quickly ran up the steps of the building toward the large center doors. I stopped half way up the steps and began to carefully look at the brick walls on both sides of the doors. I finished climbing the steps and walked over to the left wall to take a close look at the bricks. The building was old, the bricks were weather beaten, and they were of many different shades of red. I reached out to touch the brick wall with my right hand and began to individually inspect each brick’s color and condition. I ran my fingers over many bricks, carefully studying each one. Many bricks were cracked while others were chipped. Still other bricks were quite porous while others were in perfect solid condition. I seemed to be identifying them by shades of very light red orange to a deep burgundy red color. Then while insuring that the towel was still firmly wrapped around me, I turned and walked toward the doors and went inside.

H) I entered a room with a small group of about seven or eight fair complexioned men and women. They were dressed in modern western style clothing. They greeted me and seemed to know me. However, I did not recognize any of them. A man in their midst appeared to have authority or leadership over them. He appeared to be in his thirties while the others had instantly turned into moving "shadow puppets." The man was of medium build and well groomed with light brown hair. He wore a white shirt with rolled up sleeves and tan color trousers while I stood there oddly out of place wearing only a towel and barefooted.

I) The man stood to the right of a very large window on the right wall. It did not have a glass pane. Strong brilliant light came through the window, greatly accentuating the moving black "puppet" figures. As we stood in front of the very large open window I quickly and excitedly told everyone about the angry crowd in the large public square, and described the upside down flaming smoke columns, the high wall and marble rabbit heads, and the confrontation that was now taking place on the other side of the bridge. The man displayed no reaction except a blank stare, nor did the "puppet" figures express a sound. I might as well have been talking to the wall. They were not interested in what I had to say.

J) I then glanced to the left at a semi-dark corner of the room that had a few shelves on the wall. Something peculiar caught my eye. As I peered intently at the object I instantly recognized my eyeglasses in a glass jar that sat on one of the shelves. I cannot say how but somehow it became apparent to me that the man had stored them away in the jar. I didn’t like it and said so. I walked to the shelves, reached up, took down the glass jar and took out my eyeglasses. Then I walked back to the window and placed my eyeglasses on the window ledge before the brilliant light. I turned to the man and informed him that THIS was the place where my eyeglasses belonged while firmly tapping the windowsill with my right index finger alongside my eyeglasses. I boldly declared that neither he nor anyone was to exercise authority over my sight. It was obvious that he did not like my bold and outspoken attitude. We politely but firmly exchanged words in the presence of the "shadow puppets" while they remained silent.

K) After that exchange of words a little girl of approximately five years old with black hair came from behind me and walked past my left side. She walked past me toward another room directly ahead of me. As she walked past me she dropped several pieces of candy. I quickly picked them up and followed her into the next room where subtle daylight came through a smaller sized closed window in the background. The little girl sat comfortably on the left lap of the man as he knelt on the floor on his right knee. It was the man with whom I had the exchange of words. He held her firmly close with his left arm around her waist. Her hair was braided in two in back of her head just above her neck. Both braids were individually fastened in loop style.

L) I approached and stood directly in front of her. I bent over slightly toward her and extended my opened right hand to show her the candy pieces she had dropped. (They were the familiar one inch round red and white striped mints most people suck on to freshen their breath, particularly after eating and smoking.) Each piece was wrapped in cellophane paper. END.

INTERPRETATION

JERUSALEM

A) I was in the presence of God cleansing myself of all distraction and transgression that would refresh His anointing upon me for revelation and understanding of end time events as prophesied in the scriptures. Naked with only a towel covering represents my being free of any hindrance to witness end time events as revealed to me while filled and covered with His Spirit, symbolized by the blue color.

B) I stood in the open square of Jerusalem (Neh. 8:1,16 - NKJV) filled with Jewish and Arab men.

C) My presence was invisible to them as I was there in the spiritual realm to observe and witness how events would be revealed to the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth in the end time. The narrow white (color of purity; righteousness) stone bridge represents Jesus Christ who is not recognized nor accepted by Israel or the Arabs as "the way, the truth and the life" through which no one can come to God the Father except by Him. (Jn. 14:5) Only Jesus bridges the gap and separation from God because of sin, and only He reconciles man to God (2 Cor. 5:19).

D) The appearance of the high wall with two carved stone rabbit heads represent God’s watchmen on the wall. (Isa. 62:6) Rabbits multiply rapidly in numbers. God, too, has consistently multiplied his watchmen by His Spirit and His Word, beginning with His prophets in the Old Testament to the present time who have been set apart by Him to keep a "spiritual watch" on the unfolding events concerning the end time, particularly in relation to Jerusalem and Israel. The tense posture of these two rabbits’ heads indicates that they were vigilant. They allegorically line up with God’s prophets and watchmen on the wall. Their "watch" has never ceased throughout the centuries to the present day while always remaining vigilant in the scriptures that have continually prophesied of Israel’s conflicts (Jacob’s troubles) in the end time as the focal point that would initiate sounding the alarm to the Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth as well as to the world. They are to sound the alarm about the few remaining moments before God’s judgment and wrath fall upon the nations thereby bringing to an end the age of sin and rebellion against God and His Word.

E) The upside down column of flames and black smoke billowing downward (compare with Jer. 1:13-16) represent anger and judgment coming down from God upon the Arab nations coming against Israel to destroy and annihilate the Jewish people with the encouragement of their religious leaders. God’s flaming wrath and judgment is coming down upon not only these nations that are gathered together to destroy "the apple of His eye" (Zech. 2:8) but also against other nations seeking to destroy Israel as well. (They can be identified through their voting record in the Security Council of the United Nations at the Tower of Babel.)

F) The other crowd represents Israel. God’s intense anger is displayed toward Israel for the continuous rejection of His Son, Jesus Christ, as their Messiah. Many Jews today also have no belief in God. Therefore, they shall suffer severe and painful consequences for their rebellion and rejection of God as well as for their apostasy. The rest of the dream scenario in the open square is self-explanatory. It’s all spelled out in the ongoing conflict with the Palestinian’s determination to provoke, attack, terrorize and kill both young and old innocent Israeli citizens with continuous suicide bombings while Israel remains on the defensive against the Palestinians attacks. This is being played out only too well by most of the American liberal media which has continued to sympathize with the Palestinians while criticizing Israel for it’s actions of self-defense through their ongoing media and press coverage. Sadly, it appears that this also seems to be the State Department’s thinking and attitude as well.

An interesting point of observation: notice how the Holy Spirit singled out both the rabbit heads and the frail old man. The central focus is on the seed of Abraham through Isaac and Ishmael. (Their biblical "genealogy" is presented later in this document entitled Origin of Israel.)

My running onto the bridge represents my seeking safety in Jesus and His protection.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Nazareth

G) The modern but old building represents the Church of the Lord in the current New Testament era. The bricks comprise different denominations as well as represent the saints in the Lord’s Church. The condition of some of the bricks describe the "spiritual weathered elements" the Church has endured and survived through all her growing pains from her birth over 2,000 years ago in Israel. The deep red bricks represent her strength and faithfulness, her spiritual warfare, struggles, sufferings, persecutions, martyrdoms for the Gospel of Jesus Christ and times of testing in the wilderness. Still, she has always prospered and conquered victoriously through the strength of Lord Jesus and through the Word of God. The condition of some of the other bricks represents spiritual famine and carelessness. The pale shades of the bricks represent the degree of the apathetic and worldly compromising members (light red orange: diluted) through to the obedient, humble and faithful members (deep burgundy red: full bodied) in the Church: "lukewarm" to "holiness."

H) Those who greeted me were some of the saints of God. The man in authority was a pastor. The instantaneous change of the people into "shadows" portrays their lack of spiritual individuality with a total dependence on a person to lead them completely. They lacked spiritual fervor to stand out under the authority of the Holy Spirit. They were "babies" lacking spiritual maturity who sought to be spiritually fed and spiritually pampered by someone else. They portray weak saints who are still drinking the milk of the Word (if at all), and are not strong through feeding on the meat of the Word.

I) The large pane less window through which the strong brilliant light shined represents the presence of God and HIS Holy Spirit’s authority in the Church. The lack of interest, excitement, or even a comment or question from the pastor or the group after I quickly and excitedly told them what I had just witnessed starkly portrays the distressing apathy of the Lord’s Church regarding the fulfillment of prophecy coming to pass as foretold in the Old Testament by God’s prophets, and by Jesus in Matthew 24 regarding Jerusalem, Israel and the end time. Lacking any acknowledgment or interest in what I described to them reveals how uninformed and uninterested the Church is on the subject of end time prophecy due to the neglect of reading and studying the Word of God on the subject themselves as well as the total lack and neglect of being taught on the subject.

J) Recognizing my eyeglasses in a glass jar in the semi-dark corner clearly reveals that I was being denied the exercise of sounding the alarm under God’s anointing by the pastor to convey and reveal to the Church what the Holy Spirit had revealed to me. This pastor had not studied the scriptures on the end time regarding Israel to teach the Flock about the prophecies of the Old Testament by God’s prophets. Also, about the signs in Matthew 24 that would usher the Lord’s return for His Church, nor would he allow any one else to bring the end time revelations from God to the Lord’s Church. Therefore, the deafening silence from both him and the others after I had declared to them what I had just seen. There was no acknowledgment of their understanding what I was talking about. It was a threat to this pastor’s authority over the Flock thereby revealing his denial of the Holy Spirit’s true authority in the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ through His anointing upon called servants and watchmen to sound forth the alarm to the Church of what is about to take place.

My bold protest to the pastor in declaring that he had no right to take God’s anointing upon me and shelve it away in a dark corner was quite firm, to the point and without apology. I told him that I was called by God to sound forth the trumpet in the end time to His saints. I would do so with or without his approval. (Acts 5:29) I asserted my spiritual authority by God’s Spirit and declared that since my vision was from God I was going to exercise it out in the light and not allow anyone to store it away in the dark. My strange appearance and "wild" description of the events I had just witnessed probably gave him some thoughts about my "sanity" and credibility. However, I stood firm and did not recoil through his intended hindrance. The boldness and strength upon me at that very moment was from the Holy Spirit, and I did not waver. K) The little girl represents a church and the stunted growth of this particular church. It had not matured but had remained immature in her spiritual growth and knowledge. She lacked wisdom from the Word of God. Walking past me while dropping several pieces of candy revealed her continuous feeding on sweet, pleasing words. She had been on a steady diet of sugar coated preaching that would make her feel good and which had stunted her growth in the Word of God. She had not taken the initiative to pursue spiritual development but had depended on others to feed her. She had enjoyed the "feel good" words she had been fed thereby leaving her total dependent on others to nourish her. She was a cripple, void of knowing the Word of God and sharing it with others. She was also void of prayer and intimacy with God. She had never learned to pray nor intercede for others, nor share Christ and bring souls to the Lord with the Holy Spirit’s help. All she wanted was to continue with the contentment that she had made it into the kingdom of God that assured her eternity with Christ.

The color of her black hair represents darkened understanding. Her braids (twisted hair) represent confusion and twisted thoughts. This church represented "sin in the camp" due to an unenlightened understanding of God’s call to maturity in the Word and living an uncompromising, righteous and holy life while taking a stand for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. She had not sought after the Lord--feeding on the Word. She had trusted the flesh.

Finding the little girl locked in the pastor’s firm hold while seated on his lap is quite revealing. He had control over this church. It was "his" church. She belonged to him and he intended to keep her close to him and make her comfortable. He was partly responsible for her lack of development in her spiritual growth. This only confirms the firm hold he also had wanted to exercise over my anointing from God. However, my study and growth in the Word had matured and empowered me to not only serve in humility by walking in the Holy Spirit but also stand firm against intimidation by the flesh as evidenced by this particular pastor’s walk in his flesh. His heart had deceived him, and it was quite evident that he had never been called to pastor the Flock of the Lord. He had made a career out of this office and was a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He did not honor God with a humble and obedient heart. He was in danger of God’s retribution and hell fire. How many of these "called" pastors will eventually and grievously come to hear those sorrowful and doom filled words, "I never knew you. Depart from me, ye that work iniquity" (Mat. 7:23)?

Acknowledgment, however, is humbly made here regarding the fact that there are MANY shepherds of the Flock that are walking and operating under the anointing of God’s Spirit throughout the world. Only the Lord knows who they truly are and He knows their hearts. He also knows their faithful consecration and humble sanctification to serve Him and to pastor His Flock in Spirit and in Truth as called by Him to the Office of Pastor. (Eph. 4:11, 12)

L) My showing the little girl the candy pieces she had dropped was to warn her that she was in great spiritual danger through feeding on man’s doctrine that always left her feeling good, refreshed and comfortable, and which only encouraged her to continuing living a compromised life with one foot in the world and one in the Church. She had been greatly deceived and robbed of spiritual growth. Recognizing these kinds of saints must truly wake up many others who are strong and vigorous in the faith to pray fervently for these who also are our brothers and sisters in Christ. Time is practically nil and there is no time to waste. Much prayer must be entered into all the more fervently on behalf all whom the Lord reveals and burdens our hearts with to hold them up before God in prayer for His tender mercies and release of His Spirit to speak to their hearts and help them to find their way to Calvary. There, all their needs are met through the love, mercy and strength of Lord Jesus.

Observation

This particular church was not studying and paying attention to God’s Word which teaches her to feed on and know the truth of God’s Word. She was to pay extra attention to not only what she was hearing in the pulpit but to pay special attention to what she was not hearing in the pulpit. She was to continuously work out her salvation with fear and trembling (Phil. 2:12) while loving mercy, doing justly and walking humbly before God daily. (Micah 6:8) She is to daily search her heart before the Lord for revelation of hidden sin in her heart so as to acknowledge that sin as the Holy Spirit surfaces it to her understanding, ask the Lord for forgiveness and then repent, turn away, from that and all other sin and practice it no more. She is to be in continued prayer not only for herself but for others as well. She is to be surrendered to the Holy Spirit’s guidance, counsel, teaching and empowering to serve God in full obedience to His call. The Holy Spirit is her Comforter and Helper. (Jn. 14:16, 26 • 15:26 • 16:7-14) She is to offer herself and her body as a holy and living sacrifice to God for His glory as well as keep her mind renewed in God’s Word daily. (Rom 12:1, 2) This is the only path to spiritual growth and maturity that pleases, delights, honors and glorifies Him: intimacy with God through our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

The Lord’s imminent worldwide appearance to call His Church Home will sadly find many of the saints not living a righteous and holy life. What will happen to them at that moment when the saints who were living a holy life, and had remained faithful and obedient to the Lord get caught up into the clouds to be with the Lord? Will Jesus then wink at the sin in their heart and still bring their spotted and blemished souls into His kingdom? (Col 3:1-6) Will man’s doctrine of "once saved, always saved" void sin in these saints’ hearts at that very moment? Will Calvary suddenly become meaningless? Will the shed Blood of Jesus suddenly lose it’s objective? Or will they be left behind to go through the Tribulation and be counted with the others who will after the Rapture accept Christ as their Savior during the Tribulation and be killed by the antichrist for their faith? How much teaching and preaching is going on in the churches throughout the world on this urgent and crucial message today? How much calling to repentance of the saints of God is coming forth from the pulpits? How vigilant are the saints to be praying for one another as well as for their pastors who are under continuous attack and deception by the enemy, and are in desperate need of much prayer? Saints of God, I plead with you to pray as never before for your pastor and all other pastors!

Intimacy with God. That’s where the saints of God are to be found today. Through prayer, worshipping Him, meditating in His Word, remaining silent in His presence and living a holy life do Father and child meet for deep intimacy in His Son, Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Beloved saint of God, are you living your life for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today? Soon the Church will hear those long awaited words, "Come up here!" The righteous and holy saints shall depart for Home in an instant, but will sin hinder your departure?

COMMENTARY

This dream relates to the current events taking place in Jerusalem and Israel as the Palestinians continue to pursue a "permanent joint territorial status" accord in the midst of the ongoing tragedy of offensive terrorist suicide bombings begun by the Palestinians against the Israelis, with a continuous defensive response by the Israelis thereby causing loss of many innocent lives. This "civil war" erupted in September 2000 (exactly seven years after this dream occurred) when Prime Minister Ariel Sharon visited the Temple Mount site in Jerusalem. This action fiercely angered the Palestinians. A rock-throwing offensive was immediately begun by the Palestinians against the Israelis. Since then, what began as the "intifada" has escalated into a tense filled war atmosphere in many areas within Israel, thereby causing much dread to the rest of the world. There is great apprehension of the possibility of a full blown nuclear war exploding in the Middle East, as some Arab nations could attack Israel. http://www.standwithus.com/map.asp

Following a tragic terrorist suicide bombing on Passover, March 27, 2002, Chrm. Yasser Arafat was sequestered at his compound in Ramallah by PM Ariel Sharon. Before then he had already visited with all the leaders of influential nations throughout Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the United States--including Pope John Paul in Rome--to seek their support to bear pressure upon Israel to then cede part of Jerusalem to the Palestinians as well as other territories in Israel. It almost came to that in the summer of 2000 when another joint peace accord initiative took place at Camp David between PM Ehud Barak of Israel and Chrm. Yasser Arafat during the Clinton administration. Everything Arafat had asked for was granted by PM Barak. Incredibly, Arafat rejected the offer, stunning the Israelis as well as the rest of the world. Currently, he is demanding that Israel restore what land the Palestinians owned before Israel was granted statehood status of the entire land by the United Nations in 1947. Israel became an independent sovereign nation on May 14, 1948. An interesting fact not widely known by most people is that after Minister of Defense Moshe Dayan recaptured Jerusalem from Jordan during the Six Day War, http://www.israel.org/mfa/go.asp?MFAH00iz0, he offered King Hussein of Jordan the Temple Mount as a peace initiative gesture so that both Israel and Jordan could co-exist side by side in peace and harmony. This supposedly caused much grief in the hearts of the rabbis who had planned to immediately begin rebuilding the Jewish temple that had been destroyed in 70 A.D. (I heard this brief remark mentioned as a passing commentary during the showing of a television documentary on Israel earlier this year on the History Channel.)

In the midst of all the media reports of the ongoing chaos in Israel this particular fact has not been reported, thereby leaving most people in the dark on the subject of the Temple Mount. If such had been the case there could’ve been some kind of calm approach toward Sharon’s visit to the Temple Mount site. The instantaneous emotional and irrational reaction by the Palestinians would have one believe that PM Sharon had actually entered the mosque. PM Sharon’s reason for visiting the site was to encourage more visitors to visit the Temple Mount site.

I agree with all the level headed observations made by many observers that this particular incident was just the right one the Palestinians needed to begin their uprising against Israel. Their true intent was to begin an uprising to draw neighboring nations and other influential nations into the scheme of their plot to drive out the Jews from their Sovereign Land Grant as biblically outlined later in this document.

The Palestinian objective is to not only make all of Jerusalem their capital, but to eventually drive all of the Jews out of Israel into the Mediterranean Sea and proclaim the land of Israel as Palestinian territory. Since Ramses, Pharaoh of Egypt, failed to destroy the Jews at the Red Sea, Yasser Arafat has arrived on the scene, bent on succeeding in this endeavor with the help of the United Nations and all the Arab nations since all of his "diplomatic" attempts continue to fail.

Is history repeating itself? If so, then the Bible surely tells us how it all ends!) Arafat became a dedicated terrorist in the early 1960's. He was never educated and cultured to be a statesman, nor was he ever trained in the delicate art of diplomacy. (He previously was an engineer.) What the whole world has been currently witnessing is the "tantrum throwing" belligerence of a lost soul with the countenance of a raging bull in the midst of a fine crystal and china porcelain shop. However, the fired up strength in God’s "fine" chosen vessels has yet to crack, and never shall. God took a personal hand in giving birth to the nation of Israel, and no one or anything shall ever prevail against Israel. After centuries of repeated efforts by many other nations and armies to conquer and eradicate Israel with eventual failures to do so, the world still doesn’t "get it." Today, one could say of Israel, "THIS is God’s ‘Come Back Kid.’ "

Arafat’s time is rapidly fading. A few months ago I read on the Web of a medical doctor’s close observations through media coverage of Arafat’s current mannerisms, speech, behavior and appearance. It is noteworthy to observe the growing mention of the possibility of getting Arafat "promoted upstairs" to the office of a "glorified presidency" so that some one more qualified in statesmanship and diplomacy in the Palestinian ranks can step in and assume the position of a "peace" negotiator with Israel. (A wolf in sheep’s clothing would be a more exact description of Arafat’s imminent replacement. Same difference.) His current shakeup and appointments of "cabinet" ministers leave much to be desired if he is to gain credibility in serious leadership. (A terrorist is a terrorist, and a lying and deceiving terrorist, ad nauseum, at that.) Diplomatic protocol dictates that this type of delicate health condition eventually come to the attention of the public through other various sources. If such is the case, then time will soon tell. Arafat is now seventy-two years old.

ORIGIN OF ISRAEL

The following is a study of Noah and his family’s genealogy, found in 1Chronicles. It begins with Adam. Beginning in 1 Chr. 1:4 Noah’s three sons’ names are listed as Shem, Ham, and Japheth. (Another excellent and detailed genealogy is found in Genesis 10. For a thorough study of Israel’s origin read Genesis Chapters 10 to 33). From Adam to Noah are ten generations.

1 Chr. 1:8-16 -- Ham’s four sons are listed, two of which are Canaan and Mizraim. (A third son’s name is Cush who bore Nimrod. The beginning of Nimrod’s kingdom was called "Babel" (Gen. 10:10) which eventually evolved into Babylon. It is now present day Iraq.)

1 Chr. 1:12 -- Mizraim had seven sons, one of whom is listed as, "...Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines)...." (Goliath was a Philistine -- 1 Sam. 17:4.)

1 Chr. 1:17 -- Shem had nine sons. One of them was named Arphaxad of whom came Abram (renamed "Abraham" by God in Gen. 17:5), whose son, Isaac, bore twins Esau and Jacob (later renamed "Israel" by God in Gen. 32:28). From Shem to Abraham are ten generations.

1Chr. 1:28 -- Abraham’s sons’ names are listed as Isaac and Ishmael. Although Ishmael was born (Gen 16:1-4, 15, 16) before Isaac (Gen 17:19; 21:1-5), Isaac is placed first over Ishmael as Isaac was Abraham’s legitimate heir. Isaac’s mother, Sarah (a free woman), was the true wife of Abraham. Hagar, mother of Ishmael (father of the Arab nations), was Sarah’s bondservant (a slave). She was an Egyptian slave given to Abraham and Sarah by Pharaoh (Gen 12:16, 20).

Commentary: Ishmael, like Jacob (Israel), had twelve sons, the heads of twelve tribes (1Chr. 1:29-31), making twenty-four tribes descending from Abraham through only two of his sons. They were the fulfillment of a prediction made by God of Ishmael, a prediction of twelve princes that would multiply exceedingly (Gen. 17:20; 25:12-18. See also Gen. 21:13, 18, 20). (There were six other sons born to Abraham by Keturah, his second wife (Gen. 25:1 2), after he was one hundred years of age (1Chr. 1:32, 33). How many tribes descended from them is not known. The six tribes that came from Keturah settled in the country of Arabia.)

1 Chr. 1:34: Isaac’s twin sons’ names are listed as Esau and Israel (Jacob).

Commentary: This genealogy and record of the death of Abraham were given here because no more was to be said of him in the Genesis story. He lived until Jacob (Israel) was fifteen years old, dying at the age of 175 years.

Genesis 21:32, 34: "Philistines"

Commentary: This word is found 250 times in Scripture. Philistines came from Mizraim, the son of Ham (10:6, 13-14). They became bitter enemies of Israel from the conquest of Canaan until the Babylonian captivity. They are mentioned mainly in the books of Judges, 1 & 2 Samuel, and 1 Chronicles. In fact, mentioned only 42 times outside of these books.

Exodus 15:14: "Palestina"

Commentary: First time this term is used of the promised land.

Isaiah 14:29, 31: "Palestina"

Commentary: The word "Palestine" is now applied to the whole land of Canaan. Formerly the name applied to the land of "Philistia" (Ps. 60:8); and it is from this name that we have derived the word, "Palestine." Originally, the land extended all along the Mediterranean from Gaza on the south to Lydda on the north. The Heb. "Palesheth" translated "Palistia" in Ps. 60:8; 87:4; 108:9 is here translated "Palestina" and "Palestine" (Joel 3:4). It literally means "rolling"; "migratory"; "sojourners"; "strangers"; "foreigners." It fits in well with the seed of Abraham who were sojourners in a strange land (Gen. 12:10; 23:4; 35:27; Heb. 11:9).

SUICIDE BOMBER KILLS 17 NEAR MEGIDDO

At least 17 people were killed and nearly 40 wounded in a suicide car bomb attack on a packed bus on the Wadi Ara highway near the Megiddo junction yesterday morning.

Many of the victims were soldiers en route to their bases. The attack occurred around 7:15 as a No. 830 Egged bus en route from Tel Aviv to Tiberias was approaching the junction.A small van with Israeli license plates pulled up close to the bus, and the suicide attacker detonated a massive bomb. The van was totally destroyed, and the bus turned over at least once, eventually landing on its wheels. Its fuel tank ignited, causing a secondary explosion and a fire that turned the bus into a raging inferno.

(NOTE: For the information of the uninformed, Megiddo in scripture is translated into Armageddon. This is where the Battle of Armageddon will be fought imminently when Jesus returns to battle with the antichrist, and defeat him and all the armies that will have amassed together in an attempt to wipe out Israel.)

HUNDREDS HOLD PEACEFUL GAY PRIDE MARCH IN JERUSALEM

Nearly 1,000 people participated in Jerusalem's first-ever Gay pride march in Jerusalem yesterday.

Police detained one member of the outlawed Kach movement for throwing eggs and tomatoes, but otherwise the controversial event went peacefully.

A large police presence apparently prevented haredi activists from carrying out threats to disrupt the event, which haredi leaders protested as sacrilegious.

"We must uproot this filth from our midst," said Shas MK Nissim Ze'ev, a former deputy mayor.

"Get out of our camp. Go to Holland, Germany, and Switzerland," a Kach flier distributed yesterday read. It ended with a pledge to meet the "members of abomination" with "eggs, tomatoes, and other fruits of the season."

Hundreds of police were on hand as protesters shouted at the marchers in the city's Zion Square, and virtually no demonstrators interfered with the event.

The Kach movement, however, announced that one of its activists, Itamar Ben-Gvir, was held for throwing tomatoes and eggs at the marchers.

Hagai Elad, director of the Jerusalem gay-lesbian community's Open House, accused the haredi community of failing to recognize that the homosexual community is an integral part of the city.

"Like all other communities in the city, we have the full right to express ourselves publicly and in a proper manner, certainly in view of the decades during which homosexuals and lesbians in Jerusalem were kept erased from the public eye," Elad said.

Mayor Ehud Olmert tried to convince organizers to hold the event in Tel Aviv, as in years past, and refused to grant it funding. Gay activists appealed the decision to the High Court which postponed a ruling for three months.

This article is dedicated to one of the most shocking, yet relatively undiscussed subjects - abortions in the State of Israel. The organization Efrat, which works with wonderful msirut nefesh to increase the number of births of Jewish women in Israel asked us to write about the subject of abortions for Parashat Shmot. We are happy to comply. In fact, he who remains quiet concerning the issue of elective abortions becomes a partner to this atrocious mass murder.

As society increasingly depicts elective abortions as an expression of "progress" and "women's rights", the statistics regarding it have become more and more staggering. According to Efrat, more than 1,000,000 children have been killed since the establishment of the state. Yes, a genuine holocaust - and very few care. According to a recent study, 60% of women who gave birth at Hadassah Hospital in Har HaZofim admitted that they underwent an abortion "out of convenience" in the past. When the former Minister of Health, Dr. Sadan took it upon himself to fight against this phenomenon, playing a short film for the members of the Israeli Knesset depicting the abomination of abortions in Israel, and comparing this legal mass murder to the Holocaust in Europe, the Knesset members jumped out of their skin. What enraged them so? The murder of the fetuses? Of course not! What shocked them was the fact that Dr. Sadan made the comparison of abortion to the Holocaust. He was forced to step down and relinquish his duties.
 

Perversion of Morality

What is particularly fascinating, though, is the entire leftist, liberal approach to the subject. From their point of view, the more one supports abortion, the more "enlightened" that person is. You may ask: How does mass murder sit so well with humanitarian, enlightened types? It's quite simple! You see, the killing of a fetus is an expression of "freedom over one's body", feminism, and progressive society! And what about the fetuses right to live? That is not relevant to the modern and progressive types.

While every decent person would agree that child abuse is abhorrent, it suddenly becomes legitimate and even fashionable to kill a child in his mother's womb. Technically speaking, harming a child one second after he leaves his mother's womb is demented, but killing it a second before leaving his mother's womb is "freedom over her body". This gross perversion of morality is the result when morals are dictated by man and not God. Not long ago, it was even reported that in certain gynecological clinics that perform abortions, dogs eat the remains of the baby after it has been grated from its mother's womb.

"Mommy let me live!" screams the tasteless headline of a prolife ad, complete with scary pictures about a baby's diary: May 1: "Today my parents gave me the gift of life....One week has passed and look, I'm no longer a single cell" and so on through the year. Here are the concluding entries: July 24: "Today I went with my mother to the abortion committee, and within minutes my fate was sealed. At the committee no one attempted to explain to my mother the significance of the act she is about to perform. I am convinced that if they showed her a picture of me, and she knew that I am essentially complete in all aspects, she would not think of killing me." July 25: "The date when I am to die has already been set. But perhaps someone with compassion will still come and explain to my mother what she is about to lose and give her and me true happiness." July 26: "My mother received the notice to come to the hospital tomorrow to perform the operation and my life in the last hours which remain before my life is to be ended with horrible instruments. There is nothing left but for me to plead to my mother for my life: Mommy! Have pity on me! Spare me my life! I want to live."

FORCING DOCTORS TO KILL

Between 1992 and 1996, the Washington Post noted in a recent panicky editorial, the number of abortion providers in America declined by 14 percent. The downward trend has been ongoing for twenty years. Of roughly 2,000 doctors who now perform abortions nationwide, more than half are over 50 and closing in on retirement. The Post's analysis: "The greatest decrease was among doctors in private practice, who are less likely to perform abortions the younger they are; and hospitals, which, as they are bought by religious institutions and for-profit chains, increasingly prefer to avoid the controversies that abortion entails."

In other words, the unencumbered exercise of religious liberty and the power of the free market have combined to reduce the number of willing abortion providers. Oh, how awful.

To remedy this calamitous epidemic of new young doctors listening to their consciences (gasp), the abortion lobby has conjured a tidy solution: Infiltrate public training hospitals and force future doctors to learn the bloody tools of the abortion trade.

Ground Zero in this new abortion front is New York City, which trains one-seventh of the nation's doctors. The New York chapter of NARAL secured the support of liberal Republican Mayor Michael Bloomberg to use taxpayer-funded medical facilities as private recruitment camps.

Beginning next month, abortion training for obstetrics and gynecology residents in New York's 11 public hospitals will become part of the compulsory curriculum, rather than an elective that trainees generally eschew.

Ob-gyn residents will spend four to eight weeks in a full-time rotation on "family planning." Or rather, family reduction. The residents will learn the whole gamut of abortion methods, from chemical to surgical. As one online women's publication described it, fledgling doctors will be trained in new methods that "will move abortion from the operating room to a 'procedure room,' increasing the number of abortions that can be performed per day and decreasing delays for women who want abortions."

Those who disagree with the abortion training mandate must opt out by invoking a narrowly written conscience clause. Abortion activists make their head-hunting agenda of coercion clear. "It is not enough for training to be available on an elective basis to overworked residents," the National Abortion Federation argues. "Programs need to set expectations of resident participation in routine abortion training so that trainees who exercise a conscience clause provision to opt out become the exception and not the rule."

New York City is a trend-setter. NARAL is hoping that public hospitals across the country will follow its lead in using the power of government to force more doctors to accept abortion as a normal health care procedure. But there is absolutely no sound medical rationale for this new training mandate. It is a purely political hammer intended to bully residents into abandoning their ethical principles.

The medical community has been right to recoil, and must continue to resist the radical abortionist stance that destroying life should be as integral to a doctor's mission as delivering it.
