AM 9:9 "For I will give the command, and I will shake the house of Israel among all the nations as grain is shaken in a sieve, and not a pebble will reach the ground.

HAG 2:6 "This is what the LORD Almighty says: `In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. [7] I will shake all nations, and the desired of all nations will come, and I will fill this house with glory,' says the LORD Almighty.

(In prayer today the Lord had me look at Ezekiel 6-8 which speaks of the idolatry that Israel experienced in the temple, and that Ezekiel was shown that was occurring with the priests. Many unspeakable things were occurring with the Israelites at the time. However, I believe that we fall prey to the same type of thing today. What are our idols? What things occupy our hearts and minds more than God? These are the types of things that we must examine, and these are the types of things that God is wanting to rid the church and His body of.)

"There is idolatry in the house. It is idolatry of the highest order. There is idolatry within the house and it has spread throughout the church. For man has now begun to worship himself. It is a very subtle thing, for when a man or a woman spends more of their time thinking about themselves, rather than in worship of Me, then this is idolatry of the highest order. I will bring down those altars that you have created of yourselves. For those altars are not my altars, says the Lord. You are to worship the Lord your God with all your heart and soul and mind. This is the first commandment. How can you be my servants when all you think about is yourselves? You are consumed with your own feelings and agendas. Your own agendas dictate what you do each day. You are to redeem the time for the day is evil. There are only so many hours in a day. What do you do with that time that is given to you? How do you spend it? You have worshiped the creature rather than the creator. You spend your days thinking how you can get ahead. You spend your time thinking how others have wronged you. Surely, I say, those pillars and those altars will fall. Those who exalt themselves will be humbled, but those who humble themselves will be exalted. Truly, there is a shaking that is coming to the church. Truly, this shaking will affect all of my body. I will shake every pew. I will shake every corner. I will shake every leader. I will shake every servant. I will shake every church. I will shake the mountains and the valleys. I will shake the high places and the low. And truly, when I am done shaking, then my house will be in order. Truly, then will it be aligned with my Spirit. But you must put away your love of yourselves. Then you will be glorious. Then your praises will rise to Me in honor."

EPH 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. [11] Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes. [12] For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

[17] Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

(The Lord showed me a sword that was held in the hand of someone. This person held it and was running their hand across the edge of it. It was shining and brilliant in appearance. Then they seemed to be in the process of wanting to sharpen it. Again then, I saw a sword but this time it was inside of a sheath. The sword had been in its holder now for sometime unused. It was now just being taken out of the sheath.)

"The swords of many of my people have not been used lately. Many have kept them hidden away. Some of them have gathered dust. But I say, 'It is time to take them out.' It is time to put on the whole armor of God. You need to be on the offensive with the enemy. A sword is of no use if it is put away. "

(The Lord now showed me a man who had been sleeping. There appeared to many who were sleeping around him. They had their swords upon them resting. But now the enemy had come and had begun to stab one of them, and the one was caught off-guard, so that he could not defend himself well against him. His sword appeared to be dull and was not sharp enough to battle against the foe. The enemy swung many times against him, seemingly with little effort. The warrior's sword was flimsy and weak to defend himself. )

Again the Lord said:

"Many of you have been caught off-guard against the enemy. You are sleeping and are not ready. Do you not know that he comes at a time when you least expect him to? Your swords are dull and are not equipped for battle. It is time for you to sharpen them and get them ready. Let Me help you in this process. Spend time in my word. Study it. Eat it. Devour it. Then when the enemy comes you will be ready for him. Then your swords will go down deep. Then the battle will be won. "

(Lastly the Lord showed me many different types of swords and knives. They were being held in several cloths and were now being taken out of their holders. The room was filled with them. He gave one to me and I was sharpening it on a stone. I watched as the edge of the tip of it become sharper and sharper. )

"It is time to pull-out all of the weaponry. It is time for my arsenal of weapons. I have certain swords ready for this hour. "

HEB 5:11 We have much to say about this, but it is hard to explain because you are slow to learn. [12] In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food! [13] Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. [14] But solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

"From morning until evening I am pouring my Spirit out. I pour it out to all who would receive it. What do you do with my Spirit though? Is my Holy Spirit meant just to make you feel good? I tell you that I do want to lift you up. I tell you that I do want to deliver you. I tell you that I do want to heal you from your diseases. I tell you that I do want to forgive you. But more importantly than any of these, I want you to grow up and come into my fullness. Most of the body has been drinking milk at this time. Most of the body has been content with hearing the same teaching time after time. In some places you hear the same sermon preached Sunday after Sunday, but I tell you that I am bringing my body unto maturity. You must partake of the strong meat of my word. You must meditate upon it daily. But after you do all of these things, then you must put them into practice. Strong meat is for those who have trained their faculties. Strong meat is for those who can discern between good and evil. Strong meat will help equip you for the battles that are ahead. Strong meat will help you with perseverance.

"My people, it is time to change your diet. Once you thought as a child and you acted like a child. It is now time to put away childish things. It is no longer time to "play at church." Be my church and grow up."
