Beware Of The Yeast

A Warrior That Is Fearless Is Unstoppable!
The areas in our hearts where we harbor fear of any kind will keep us vulnerable to the enemy. The enemy seeks to keep our fears hidden from us and will try to disguise fear as wisdom or doubts and unbelief as great spiritual strength.
Many in the Body of Christ today are teaching others to fear and disguising it as great wisdom, but it is really fear based and all fear needs to be destroyed in our hearts and minds. We should never listen to any teaching that asks us to save our own lives instead of giving our all to save others.
"Be careful", Jesus said to them. "Be on your guard against the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees." Mt.16:6
The Pharisees were constantly trying to tear down the works of Jesus. He would heal someone and they would try to convince everyone that the person was not really sick. Jesus would raise someone from the dead and they would try to convince people, that the person was not really dead. Does that sound familiar? Perhaps there is a little bit of Pharisee in all of us. A little place in our hearts where we don't believe in the Power of God. A place where we look to disprove the miracles happening around us every day.
We may pray to get well, but when we're better we thank the medicine we took to make us well. Why do we want to believe that God didn't touch us because of the yeast of the Pharisees that is in our hearts. God cannot and will not do miracles for us if we doubt His power to save us. We need to kill the yeast of fear and doubt in our own hearts and replace it with trust in God.
Fear God More Than Satan
"Do not be afraid of those who kill the body, but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the one who can destroy both soul and body in hell." Mt. 10:28
It is more important that we obey God than fear fighting the enemy. God is the one in control, that means He controls satan too. So if God asks me to fight a battle and take a stand against the realms of darkness then I know I have nothing to fear. If I do fear the enemy and run from an assignment from God, I fear God's reproof for my lack of trust in Him. We should not become presumptuous or arrogant, but we should never fear the enemy, only God.
If we see fear as our enemy we will fight against it and trust in God. Our faith in God even in its smallest measure will move mountains.
The Lord cares for you "and even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid." (Mt. 10:30) you are worth more to Him than the life of His own Son. Our Heavenly Father will stop at nothing to save you and help you. You have only to trust Him! Do not lose faith in Him. He will save you.
God bless you dear friends.
