This has not happened to me before. First of all let me explain that I am not much of a dreamer I see & hear things while awake. When I dream I usually cannot remember them as soon as I wake up. I only remember pieces . I have never had a continuing dream until now. The following is a dream that has continued these past couple of nights. I feel released to share it with you.

Subject:Dream on 11-1-01

I submit this to you for discernment and clarification.

This morning I awoke with such a sense of war going on. I know that America is experiencing war right now but this was different. I heard in the Spirit this phrase:

TAKE COVER, TAKE COVER!!!

When I awoke this morning I realized that I had been fighting in my sleep all night. I had been dreaming of multitudes of men and women in camouflage clothing wielding swords, not guns. They were in intense battle with an unseen enemy (At least I did not see them...yet). I heard the words "He who dwells in the secret place shall abide under the shadow of the almighty He shall take cover under my wings and I shall shield him from the wiles of the enemy". I saw many who became weary from battle turn and drop to their knees, then it was as if a great wing came from the heavens and engulfed (covered) them. Soon they would appear again rested and ready for battle. As I watched this unfold I heard my name and I received what appeared to be papers (like orders) and I went into this large temple like room and when I came out I too had on camouflage and as I left the door I received a huge golden sword (actually gold on one side silver on the other.) When I arrived at the battlefield a huge soldier came over to me and put a oil like liquid on my eyes and at first they went cloudy but as the scenery became clear I could see the enemy. I knew where to wield the sword and which side to swing up with. On the enemies forehead was written its name I saw the names hatred, gossip, perfectionism, pride, solitude, and bitterness, idolatry, self gratification, jealousy, low self-image and foolish talk. As I battled I asked the Lord why I had to fight so many. I said the enemy has an endless army of soldiers but He assured me that this army would be defeated. He said "if he cannot get you with one he will use the others and they will come one by one until you are too exhausted to fight anymore. Your greatest weapon is your ability to know when to stop fighting and take cover under my wings to strengthen you to continue for this battle will not end until my son returns. You must constantly fight for your freedom and know you will not be destroyed." I said Lord why must I fight for freedom for it is promised in your word. He said "He whom the Son sets free is free indeed but He who wields faith & love remains free." We must battle daily as we are tested with new enemies. Then He showed me the sword and on the gold side was written "love" and on the silver side was "faith". Then I woke up......

I know that this was for me but not just me but the body of Christ as a whole. We have been in battle since the day of our salvation where we received our orders and He changed our clothes. We win the war and on the battlefield through faith and love. I did not see any casualties for when they dropped to their knees He came and when we are weak He is made strong....

Part two 11-2-01

I was watching from a side view and I saw another army only not in camouflage as before but this army was on huge horses. The riders were on black and red horses except the lead horsemen His was white. These horseman were wielding swords as well but these swords were gold and on them was written "truth" I saw them as they began to charge forward then I saw the enemy only this enemy I could see clearly even though he was nearly all black . These enemies too had names and I only saw a few and they were Dominion, Poverty, Divorce, Suicide and Greed. These enemies were bigger than the others I battled in the previous dream and the setting was different it appeared we were high up. I stood ready prepared to fight and I heard the Lord say this is the battle that rages in the heavenlies and this battle I fight. I saw a host of angels surrounding the battle area and going in and out of these horsemen. Then he showed me the earth and the many saints on their knees. The picture split in two and I saw both and it was as if every time a saint got on their knees an angel would come from the sidelines and go into one of the horsemen and begin to fight the enemy with strength and power. It was an endless battle because someone was always praying on their knees. He said it is prayer that moves them into position and it is truth that prevails. If more will pray more (enemies) will lose.. This battle belongs to me but it is prayer that seeks this army out and causes change on the earth so pray.. pray.. pray..... The heavenly battle is fought on our knees...

He then showed me our nations army and again said pray. I saw the enemies that had been unleashed against our army and they were called "fear" and "terror". The Lord said in the days ahead terror will try to secure its place in our midst and fear will try to surround the people so we must lay down our lives to pray for this army that those in the heavenlies on the sidelines awaiting orders will be sent to battle with truth on our behalf for God did not give us a Spirit of fear but of peace, love and a sound mind....

Beloved I woke up with an incredible sense that we as a nation have been given a battle strategy and we must heed the words that the prophets are speaking in direction to prayer and thwarting the enemies plans in the days ahead...

Our lives are built on, sustained by and given to much prayer and fasting....
