I minister prophetically through Anchorage Christian Center, and believed I was sent here (D.C.) to be on a strategic assignment throughout the holidays. (I'm on temporary assignment as a FAA Special Agent to the Aviation Command Center, Washington D.C.) Shoes have been a weak link for quite some time, [in airline security] but the American public was not willing to submit to shoe searches. While working this incident, and simultaneously praying for it, I was shown that the shoes are symbolic of humility-- that Americans, and the American Church, have not been sufficiently humble in their natures, in their relationships and in their actions.

To prevent, deter, or mitigate future attacks, the Church must humble herself to the point of taking off her shoes in abject humility. She must wash one another's feet, taking off their stained and smelly sandals in order to reach the real person in love.
