Florida needs the prayers of God's people all over the world. For some time we have had a growing sense that the Spirit of God is about to be poured out here, and we as intercessors have been very busy addressing the hindrances to this outpouring.

God has supernaturally been drawing His praying people together for strengthening and refreshing, as well as identifying one another. This is not only crucial to unity, but when the overall battle becomes personal, those bonds have been made that can be drawn upon to address the individual battlefront.

Last night a reporter stated that dozens of ballot boxes were missing from precincts in the major cities of Florida. These cities have had a known history of great darkness. Believers in each of these cities are working toward a spiritual transformation, but the provocation by the enemy is clear!

Tampa was one of the cities that has been involved in the questionable dealings with votes. Vice president Al Gore and his running mate landed in the dark on election day, to set up camp in Tampa for the election returns. Of all places in the U.S., our city was designated as the watch-city yesterday!

Every year Tampa celebrates Gasparilla Day, with the re-enactment of the invasion of the city by pirate Jose Gaspar and his brigade of thugs. Legend has it that Gaspar invaded the city, raping, pillaging, plundering and burning as he went.

The mayor turns the city over to Gaspar and pleads for mercy as he is taken "hostage." In actuality, Gaspar's pirates are members of secret societies in Tampa, and are business and political leaders of our city. The spirit of Jose Gaspar is invoked at the mock invasion.

While the invasion may be mock, the invocation of that spirit is very real, and the lingering effects of it over this area -- year after year -- have been malignant. This spirit of piracy is at work in this election.
