We all thought by now we would know who the next president of the United States would be... instead we have a recount of votes in Florida. We MUST continue to press forward in prayer! I am sending out a portion of a reminder from Dutch Sheets, a word through Joanne Gavlick <eaglegav@msn.com> entitled Master of Breakthrough, and a portion of an article of mine entitled STRATEGIC OFFENSIVE. This is NO time to retreat, it is time to raise the banner of the Lion of Judah in the midst of battle and see the Kingdom forcefully advanced... the kingdom of the heavenlies, the spiritual atmosphere suffers violence, and the violent take it by force!

We must not let up at this critical point. I am extremely concerned as we enter into this last week before Election Day. We are in danger of apathy and fatigue keeping us from faithfully interceding until the end. We cannot stop; we have not yet prevailed in this endeavor. There is a great, great urgency that we intensify our intercession during this last week. It is not a time to decrease and let down our guard because we re approaching the finish line. Rather,it is a time to press forward with even greater strength to see the goal accomplished. Once again, I am asking PLEASE, INTERCEDE FOR THIS ELECTION!

As stated in the initial "Prayer Alert For This Nation," I firmly believe this is the most critical election in decades. The results of this election will not only drastically influence America, but other countries as well. I believe Israel will be especially impacted, and what God wants to do in the rest of the world will also be greatly affected by the outcome of next Tuesday's voting.

Please, increase your intercession and fasting. Join together with the Body of Christ for this purpose; there is great power in unity.We must not let down our guard.

Many of you have been entailing unusual warfare, one of such intensity and impact that you have asked, "God how much more can I take? How long, O LORD? When will this end? You have promised, yet my eyes have yet to see the fulfillment of your Word, LORD . . . . I don't know how much more I can take."

And the LORD OF HOSTS says to you, "Just as my servant, King David, inquired of Me when he was up against the Philistines, so shall you inquire of Me. Seek, and you shall find. Ask, and you shall be given. Seek Me and ask, 'Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You give them into my hand?' As I said to David, I say to you, "Go up to Baal-perazim, for I will certainly give the Philistines into your hand. Name me an overcomer who has not overcome something... I didn't think you could. That is the nature of being an overcomer, it is characterized by OVERCOMING! All of us want to be overcomers, few of us want something to overcome.

We are in a season of increased spiritual attack, it seems that the enemy is "...coming in like a flood..." (Is.59:19). We must understand that satan is not God's enemy, he is OUR enemy... he is a pawn in the hand of the Almighty Sovereign God and can do only what God allows or what man, through the forfeited spiritual authority of harboring iniquity, allows. God is now allowing a season of increased attack, and it is intended to ultimately bring forth the purposes of God. Normally when many of us come under attack, we turn tail and run or do everything we can to cause the attack to cease. We go into a DEFENSIVE mode and never enter into the ultimate purpose of God that is found in the MIDST of an attack.

The Word declares to us that He has "...blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ..."(Eph.1:3); so the blessing or increase that manifests in the natural begins in the spiritual realm. Ever notice how the enemy will seek to steal or delay your increase? My friend, it is at that point of attack that we must step forward in an offensive and command the release of that which God has destined for us. Often our blessing or increase is disguised as a 'land full of giants'... and all too often we end up seeing ourselves as grasshoppers and missing our God-ordained increase. We must begin to look at spiritual attacks as OPPORTUNITIES to launch a strategic offensive. If you find yourself under constant attack, it may very well be the grace of God providing many opportunities to advance the Kingdom. Remember, according to Eph. 6 there is no armor on our back side, we are equipped to move forward!

After I had been meditating and writing on this subject, I saw a colonial war movie and I was stirred by a particular scene. The colonists were faltering in the heat of battle and some were starting to retreat as their enemy was beginning to get the upper hand. Suddenly their leader took their flag and rode on horseback through the battle waving the flag and shouting, "Hold the line and ADVANCE!"... well, you can figure the rest of the story. It was a major turning point, and victory was wrought. I'm reminded of Is.59:19 as it says. "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard (flag or banner) against him...". This is what God desires, that we raise the banner of the Lion of Judah in the midst of battle and see the Kingdom forcefully advanced... the kingdom of the heavenlies, the spiritual atmosphere suffers violence, and the violent take it by force!

All of us want to be more than conquerors in Christ... few of us want something to conquer... God will graciously provide both. Let us move FORWARD, releasing the power that is only found in the midst of battle.
