Over the past few decades the scripture "Professing to be wise, they became fools" has come to fruition. We are seeing the fruits of the exchange of the Truth for a lie in our young people. Many are blinded to truth and commit acts that make no sense to anyone with a shred of moral values or purpose.

The Lord kept bringing the phrase "they became fools" to me this past weekend. At first I thought He was referring to the foolishness of so many of our young people, but then He turned my focus on the adults of this society (my generation and my parents' generation. When we pushed God out of our everyday lives and embraced humanism, and every other kind of ism and called it GOOD, we became fools! The foolishness of the youthful generation is a visual demonstration to us as to what we have become. We are being told: "What you see these young people doing with their promiscuity, their open anarchy, their blatant lack of respect for authority, their failure to care about education or anything of eternal value is WHAT YOU HAVE BECOME!"

The opposite of foolishness is WISDOM. We are to pray for the WISDOM of GOD in our lives and subsequently in the lives of others ESPECIALLY our leaders in High Government places.

NOW the KEY for US as believers is THIS. ASK GOD TO PUT THE RIGHT MAN IN OFFICE. If we fail to do so, we will get the WRONG man (at God's choosing)

He has shown that one candidate has the mantle of righteousness on his shoulders and will do a work of Josiah, that is, he will read the word of God and find it to be true and be smitten with a true repentance. He will lead his servants into the same repentance and begin a work of righteousness from the top on down.

If you will look at Proverbs 29: 12 and 16 you will see a principle in effect. If the "CEO" hearkens to lies, his whole cabinet and all under them will hearken to lies too. If the CEO hearkens to the word of GOD, righteousness will be established and the HIGH ALTARS of evil will be torn down! IF WE PRAY FOR OUR LEADERS IN AUTHORITY, they will not hearken to lies and the LIE will not prevail over our country. IF WE DO NOT, consider the atmosphere our country has to produce more LOSTness in many.

Since the LOST is our primary concern, we are bound by the Word to Pray for those in authority. And PRAY for the right man to be placed in office where righteousness will be established at the top.

So let our prayers be effectual and RIGHTEOUS concerning the next 15 days..(since early voting started yesterday.) AMEN
