ACKNOWLEDGMENT
[As prompted by the Holy Spirit, I sought interpretative
help from Pastor Paula Cavu, of Daystar Ministries, Australia, http://www.uq.net.au/daystar/page2.htm.
It is with deep and humble gratitude that I acknowledge his assistance
and anointed interpretation in helping me bring this dream of December
18, 1999* to the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ while taking time away
from his very busy and heavy work and travel schedule. I could not have
rendered the needed interpretations in areas where the Holy Spirit led
him to interpret. (Thank you, Paula.) His interpretative comments follow
at the end of the dream. My interpretation follows thereafter. The reader
should keep in mind that most of this dream is allergorical in context.
The dreamer here is representative of the five-fold ministry in Eph. 4:11,12.]
INTRODUCTORY COMMENT BY PAULA CAVU:
"Celia, this dream seems to constitute a warning
and instruction to Christians that the coming resurrection rapture, which
is portrayed in this dream as the imminent departure of the air plane,
is almost upon us."
DREAM
A) I was in uniform with a flight crew at
an airport and was aware that I did not have much time left to myself.
I told the other In-Flight Purser that I'd be on time for departure as
I wanted to pick up something at the Duty Free Shop. I left the crew, and
when I arrived at the Duty Free Shop, I saw a large beautiful painting
of cats with a blue background, and became interested in it. However, I
quickly realized that the shop was too crowded with people and would not
get the attention I quickly needed. Instead, I decided to proceed to the
aircraft.
B) Next, I found myself in the passenger lounge
glancing through a newspaper which I had previously bought. I quickly sorted
the newspaper, selecting only sections of interest while laying aside the
other sections. Somehow I got the impression that it was a New Jersey newspaper.
I now became aware of the short time left in getting to the departure gate.
I glanced around at an almost empty passenger lounge. There was only one
person left. It was a woman who sat fast asleep while leaning over to the
right with nothing supporting her. She was approximately sixty years of
age, overweight, her complexion was olive, and she wore a black scarf over
her head and tied under her chin. She was also dressed in dark peasant
style clothing. I quickly left the passenger lounge without the newspaper
and walked toward the departure gate. As I arrived at the gate, the ramp
agent quickly picked up the phone and told someone that I had arrived.
I glanced at my watch, and it was exactly two minutes before departure
time. (I cannot recall the time.) I quickly ran down the ramp as
the passenger lounge door closed behind me, and when I boarded the 747
aircraft, the ramp agent slammed the large aircraft door closed and locked
it from the outside.

Gen. 7:15 And they went in unto Noah into the ark, two and two of all flesh, wherein [is] the breath of life.
16 And they that went in, went in male and female
of all flesh, as God had commanded him: AND THE LORD SHUT HIM IN.
All the passengers had boarded by now, and I quickly
met up with the other purser who gave me a passenger count in both First
Class and in Economy Class. The First Class section had more passengers
than there were in Economy. I was startled, and asked her if she was sure
of the count. She repeated the same passenger count (I cannot recall
the exact numbers, but both class sections each had some twenty plus passengers)
and I quickly proceeded into the First Class section which I would be working
during the flight. After stowing away my coat and shoulder bag, I went
into the galley area and looked for my crew bag. I saw many other crew
bags but did not recognize mine. (As a former Pan Am In-Flight Purser,
I know that regulations require that crew bags be stowed away in other
locations in the aircraft and not in tiny galley areas where there is no
such room.)
C) Next, I found myself outside as I quickly
inspected the grounds which surrounded the aircraft. Strange as it may
seem, I had opened the aircraft's left forward door, and without stepping
out onto a ramp, I found myself walking on firm ground. The aircraft was
supposed to be airborne, as I was keenly aware that it had taken off and
the pilots were now flying and navigating the aircraft with a computer.
Yet, it was sitting flat on the ground with the landing gear retracted
into its storage compartment. The engines were not making their typical
whining, whirring noise, but were silent. Otherwise, I could not have walked
near them due to their strong suction power while in operation.
D) As I walked about, inspecting the immediate
grounds all around the aircraft in total darkness, I noticed smoldering
ground patches throughout the entire surrounding areas. They had the appearance
of smoldering orange-yellowish ambers. Although it was nighttime and quite
dark outside the aircraft, I could clearly distinguish the color of the
soil as I bent down and scooped some of it in my hand to inspect it. It
was pitch black, and not its usual dark brownish color.
E) I returned to the aircraft, and observed
all the activity taking place while the aircraft was supposedly airborne.
Some flight attendants were busy quenching the few passengers' thirsty
needs while other flight attendants were setting up the meal carts in First
Class. With the few passengers in Economy Class, no meal carts were necessary
as the meal trays would be hand carried. Galley attendants were busy in
both galleys preparing the meals.
I became deeply concerned about the smoldering ground
patches outside the aircraft, and decided to return outside. The smoldering
ground patches had increased in number and size. Suddenly, one of the patches
erupted with flames, instantly engulfing a large portion of the left ground
area a short distance away from the aircraft. I quickly returned inside
the aircraft and grabbed a fire extinguisher. I ran outside with it, pulled
out the release pin and began pulling the trigger to release the CO2 (carbon
dioxide) as I aimed at the base of the growing flames. I quickly put
the fire out and proceeded to run throughout the entire grounds surrounding
the aircraft, aiming at all the smoldering patches and putting them out
as well. The CO2 bottle was quite a large cylinder in my arms. Strangely,
however, it was light to carry and easy to handle. I made a thorough search
of where the fire had broken out to insure that it was completely out.
Upon making sure that it was and that I had also put out all the other
smoldering patches, I returned inside the aircraft with the CO2 bottle.
F) In the next scene I was with my husband
at a hotel. We had arrived at a crew layover hotel, and I became aware
that I had left my crew bag at Customs. I told my husband that I'd have
to try and pick it up as some of my personal things were packed in that
bag. I had a smaller bag with me that contained only a few toiletries.
Then, and for some unexplained reason, I decided to forego the idea of
picking up my bag at Customs.

31 In that day, he which shall be upon the housetop,
and HIS STUFF IN THE HOUSE, LET HIM NOT COME DOWN TO TAKE IT AWAY: and
he that is in the field, let him likewise not return back.
G) I was aware that I would be deadheading
(traveling
as a passenger while in uniform) on American Airlines, Flight #9, which
would be departing at 9:30 from Gate 19. I told my husband to go ahead
without me, and that I would meet him at the gate. I decided to return
to the passenger lounge I had previously been at to collect the newspaper
I had left behind. I then found myself in the passenger lounge walking
toward the newspaper which was still there in one of the seats. A different
peasant woman, also wearing a dark scarf tied under her chin, was going
through the newspaper, but when she saw me approaching she quickly withdrew
from the newspaper. I picked it up and discovered that with the newspaper
there was a TIME Magazine with a front cover of two men. The cover picture
was divided into two halves which displayed one man's face in the upper
half of the cover with a line drawn across the cover and the other man's
face displayed in the lower half. Both men were foreign statesmen. I recognized
the man pictured above the lower man as the current leader of China, President
Jiang Zemin. I did not recognize the other man pictured in the lower half
of the cover. The magazine title, "TIME," was printed in large bold red
letters, and the magazine cover had a red border all around the cover.
H) I looked at my watch. It was now 9:05.
I became aware that I did not have much time to spare, yet quickly decided
to pick up my crew bag at Customs after all. I abandoned the newspaper
and magazine and quickly hastened to pick up my bag. I glanced at my watch
again. The time was now 9:15. Again, I decided to forego my bag and hastened
to the airline's ticket counter to pick up my boarding pass. The lady ticket
agent was on the phone, and as I stood at the counter waiting for her to
get off the phone, suddenly two other flight attendants, wearing another
airline's uniforms, hastily walked up to the ticket counter to my right.
They both had fair complexions, were of average height and weight, had
short blond hair down to their necks, and wore light beige uniforms. (My
uniform was medium blue.) Their crew hats were also the same beige
color. They were just as rushed as I was. It seems that we were to be on
the same flight together, and they wanted to pick up their boarding passes
too. The agent got off the phone, and gave us our boarding passes and told
us to quickly proceed to Gate 19 from where Flight #9 would be departing
at 9:30.
I) We quickly walked through the crowded passenger
terminal to the gate. The other two flight attendants were fast walkers
and no matter how I tried to stay close behind them, they kept getting
farther ahead of me. I kept them in sight while I continued on toward the
departure gate. The next thing I knew, I found both flight attendants outside
in the dark night, walking around in circles within a chain linked fenced
area. As dark as it was, I could clearly see that they had become confused
without light.

Matt. 15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders
of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the
ditch.
[A brother in Christ, Frank M., has made the following
observation which I quote as follows: "Suddenly disaster strikes, everything
is dark and you find yourself in a compound surrounded by a high fence.
Perhaps this is the take over of America with Martial Law ensuing."]
When I saw their mistake, as well as the mistake
I had made in following their lead, I quickly turned to the right and began
climbing up some type of large rock boulder while panting quite heavily.
I used my hands to cling onto the boulder's crevices and protrusions as
I crawled my way up. The other two flight attendants began following me.

Matt 16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.
18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter,
and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall
not prevail against it.
I climbed to the top and opened a door. As I entered,
with the other two flight attendants directly behind me, I was instantly
at the same ticket counter as before. The same lady ticket agent urgently
told us that we were supposed to be on board Flight #9 by now at Gate 19
for a 9:30 departure while pointing out the direction to the gate. She
told us to hurry as it was almost departure time.
J) We quickly ran throughout the now empty
passenger terminal toward the other end of the terminal. (Dream ended.)
COMMENT BY PAULA
"Celia, this dream seems to constitute a warning
and instruction to Christians that the coming resurrection rapture, which
is portrayed in this dream as the imminent departure of the air plane,
is almost upon us (2 minutes before departure time).It is time to put away
desires for the temporal things of the world as symbolized by the painting
of the cats at the Duty Free Shop and the crew bag which you finally decided
to leave at Customs. The timing for the rapture is perhaps related to the
time when China will dominate the news media (TIME magazine with the dominant
picture of the Chinese leader). It will also be the time when judgment
shall be upon the earth (black earth and smoldering amber) and threaten
the Church of the Rapture. It is God's end time apostolic and prophetic
anointing and ministries which shall keep the Church of the rapture from
being consumed by judgment (the dreamer extinguishing the ambers). This
also agrees with your mention of number 9 being the number of judgment.
The two women with peasant clothing and dark head
scarves who were sitting in the passenger lounge and presumably missed
the flight most likely portrayed churches in spiritual poverty whose spiritual
covering is from the kingdom of darkness (dark scarves).
The two flight attendants who wore a different uniform
from yours and who led you into the dark and into confusion most likely
speak of churches who are not of God's apostolic and prophetic anointing
and are therefore not taught and led of the Spirit. Being the dreamer,
you are of this anointing so that the churches, who will ultimately be
led of the Spirit [by] God's end time apostles and prophets, will receive
the quickening of the direct revelation of Jesus (rock that was climbed).
Hereby, many churches will be saved.

Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the
mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

FIRE; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh."
INTERPRETATION
[With the interpretative support from Paula, this
dream portrays the approaching events leading toward judgment and followed
by the Rapture, both of which are to take place shortly. Nine is the number
of judgment, and great haste occurs during the ninth hour. A few references
are applied to me in this dream. However, I believe that the Holy Spirit
will speak to Christian readers, through His conviction, that there are
certain activities and distractions currently taking place in their lives
that are keeping them from remaining totally focused on their calling and
faithfulness to the Lord Jesus.]
A) The flight crew represents part of the
remnant Church. In First Class: the five-fold ministry of apostles, prophets,
evangelists, pastors and teachers (Eph. 4:11,12), and co-laborers for the
gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. In Economy Class: the faithful few
in number that are ready for the flight at departure time. The Duty Free
Shop portrays the ongoing distractions in the world around me, even to
the time of departure. "Duty Free" represents unceasing temptations to
"free" me from my sanctified "duty" (calling) as a servant of God
and a watchman. (The painting of cats represents my great attachment
to heart memories of previous departed cats as well as a deep fondness
for the current one I have.)
B) I selected only certain sections of interest
from the newspaper which I discerned to be a New Jersey newspaper. Many
references have been made to the fact that Israel is the approximate size
of New Jersey. (I closely follow current news regarding peace negotiations
in Israel, as well as a few other political world events.) The empty
passenger lounge indicates that the vigilant Church had already boarded
the aircraft while I observed the non-vigilant Church asleep. I decided
to set the newspaper aside and remain focused on my departure.
C) The strange scene of an aircraft, which
should have been airborne, yet sitting flat on the ground, portrays a simulated
flight with passengers that in actuality will depart shortly (the Rapture:
"caught up" - 1 Thes. 4:15-17).
D) Paula's comment, "It is God's end time
apostolic and prophetic anointing and ministries which shall keep the Church
of the rapture from being CONSUMED BY JUDGMENT..." tremendously
describes this scene. Paula's comment covers the rest of the dream's paragraph
E.
E) The refreshments and nourishment being
served to those on board the aircraft represents the provision of the Word
of which they are partakers and with which they will continue to nourish
and refresh themselves with in the Lord while waiting for their "flight"
departure. The CO2 fire extinguisher in this dream is another symbolic
representation of the Word of God.
F) My ongoing indecision regarding my crew
bag is a great confirmation to me in this dream about my deep burdens for
both my husband's and my family members' salvation. This is my "bag of
burdens." (In reality I am walking in great anxiety for my loved ones'
spiritual welfare, wanting to somehow have some form of control in seeing
that they will all be saved and enter into the Kingdom of God. However,
all I can, and do, is pray for them and keep them covered with the Blood
of Jesus daily.) Included in these burdens, and in greater depth, is
my great concern for the spiritual state of the Church of the Lord Jesus
Christ world-wide, as well as the state of the persecuted Church, AND the
remnant Church in America which will be kept here during her hour of judgment.

Customs represents God: security, a place of safe keeping. I also agree
with Paula's scriptural reference about this scene portraying some in the
Church as being attached to personal possessions.
G) My decision to return to the passenger
lounge to retrieve my newspaper brings me together again with another peasant
woman. Paula's comment on both peasant women representing impoverished
churches "whose spiritual covering is from the kingdom of darkness (dark
scarves)" is what I had also received of the Holy Spirit. My observance
of the second peasant woman as she browsed through the newspaper and then
quickly withdrew herself when she saw me approaching seems to convey that
the slumbering and spiritually impoverished Church is more interested in
events of the world.
The magazine cover brings forth an interesting observation.
It pictured the current Chinese President, Jiang Zemin, and another statesman
which I did not recognize. How interesting that this dream occurred on
December 18th because thirteen days later, on December 31st, the Russian
President, Boris Yeltsin, resigned. The number thirteen represents rebellion,
apostasy, defection, corruption, disintegration and revolution. My inability
to recognize the second statesman pictured below the Chinese leader's picture
was about to become a fact. Vladimir Putin, unfamiliar to the world at
that time, became Russia's acting president on December 31st, also thirteen
days later. The number thirteen could very well portray similar or identical
characteristics in both of these men.
The color red, as displayed on the magazine cover,
is the color of war and destruction (Rev. 6:4). Again, Paula's comment
that "The timing for the rapture is perhaps related to the time when China
will dominate the news media (TIME magazine with the dominant picture of
the Chinese leader)" is intertwined with the pending scenario of nuclear
war [see Commentary at the end] that will soon come to pass
with China and Russia "jointly" at the helm, as both are "jointly" pictured
together on the magazine cover and bordered with the color red.
H) Something is about to happen, and there
is great haste to get on board the flight before its departure. A sequence
of events reveals how the hour of judgment and the Rapture seem to be somehow
timed close together. The faithful in waiting are caught in the midst of
judgment, as their hopes were that they would be raptured before
judgment falls. The number "nine" is surrounded with frenzy and haste.
The various moments during the ninth hour seem to reveal the following:
5 = grace and ministry of the gospel; 9 = finality, judgment, gifts of
the Holy Spirit and fruit of the Holy Spirit; 15 = rest; 30 = launching
out of ministry, the right moment, dedication, and the Blood of Christ,
and 19 = faith. All these numbers harmonize spiritually, and tremendously
so. It seems that the remnant Church will be fully equipped with all these
spiritual giftings as well as completely empowered by the Holy Spirit to
endure through what lies ahead during the time of judgment. The color blue
(my
uniform) represents the Holy Spirit. The color brown (beige--worn
by other flight attendants) represents drought, wilderness, famine
and death.
As for a 9:30 time departure, I cannot bring a full
interpretation here. Could it be that the Church will endure halfway
through the ninth hour, the hour of judgment, and then be raptured?
Further interpretation is explained by Paula quite
clearly. "The two flight attendants who wore a different uniform from yours
and who led you into the dark and into confusion most likely speak of churches
who are not of God's apostolic and prophetic anointing and are therefore
not taught and led of the Spirit. Being the dreamer, you are of this anointing
so that the churches, who will ultimately be led of the Spirit [by] God's
end time apostles and prophets, will receive the quickening of the direct
revelation of Jesus (rock that was climbed). Hereby, many churches will
be saved." That many churches will be saved is a tremendous interpretation
as it puts into perspective why the two flight attendants (spiritually
famished churches) followed me up the rock boulder.
I) The crowded passenger terminal reveals
that people's lives are thriving and have not yet been disrupted. So far,
judgment has not taken place. (See "Dreams and Visions from God" to

I am portrayed as following after spiritually famished and spiritually
impoverished churches, and misled by them when in actuality I am brought
together with them to minister to them through prayer or otherwise, and
by following them I show that I am concerned about their spiritual welfare
and don't want to let them out of my sight. I want to make sure they go
in the right direction.
"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the
devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist
him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are
experienced by your brotherhood in the world. But may the God of all grace,
who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered
a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the
glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen" (1 Pet. 5:8-11). [Bold emphasis
is mine.]
J) The empty airport terminal seems to portray
a two-fold scenario. 1) Judgment has taken place, and 2) the remnant Church
has boarded the flight which is ready for departure (the Rapture).
There are no more passengers to take the flight. The "no shows" for flight
departure have been found lacking in humility, obedience and repentance,
and have either perished during judgment or are found unworthy of entering
into God's kingdom. They must endure the tremendous suffering and pain
of God's wrath during the hour of judgment until it's over. Prayerfully,
by the presence of the Church still here, PREACHING THE GOSPEL to
them in their hour of devastation, hopelessness and anguish, many will
repent, receive the Son of God as their Savior, and become worthy to enter
into God's eternal rest in Christ Jesus.
"But in accordance with your hardness and your impenitent
[unrepentant] heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day
of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God" (Rom 2:5).
"How then shall they call on Him in whom they have
not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach unless
they are sent? As it is written: 'How beautiful are the feet of those who
preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!'...So
then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Rom 10:14,15,17).
"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as
some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that
any should perish but that all should come to repentance" (2 Pet. 3:9).
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only
begotten Son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting
life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world through Him might be saved"
(Jn. 3:16,17).
As for the two other flight attendants running with
me to catch the flight, these churches were "revived" in their hearts by
the power of the Holy Spirit's conviction. At last they set their sight
and faith in Jesus, alone, by forsaking religion and denominational
teachings of confusion and division through traditions and dogmas. Praise
God!
"And the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' And let
him who hears say, 'Come!'" (Rev. 22:17)
"'Surely I am coming quickly.' Amen. Even so, come,
Lord Jesus!" (Rev. 22:20)
COMMENTARY
From all current appearances, it seems that judgment
on America has begun, yet the prospering economy and technological and
scientific advancements seem to be deceiving most in the Church of Jesus
Christ of Nazareth. Biblically speaking, there are accounts in the Old
Testament that give witness to harsh weather, drought and crop conditions,
among other events, that paved the way for severe consequences which followed
as God's judgment fell on those nations. Climatic and atmospheric changes
are beginning to threaten the quality of life on earth, particularly the
increasing famine in many parts of the world. America has begun to witness
and experience rapid weather changes affecting her water reservoirs,
crops and farmlands, as well as increasing periods of extreme heat and
drought. The rest of the world has also begun to experience severe and
unheard of weather pattern changes. And then there is Israel and the "imminent"
peace that will soon take place there. From all appearances, there are
no further arguments left for scoffers in the Church.
I cannot state that the hour of judgment is the same
as the seven year tribulation period. The Church here in America has been
warned by God's Romanian pastor and prophet, Dumitru Duduman (1932-1997),
that this nation will be greatly judged through a nuclear attack for her
disobedience to Him and rejection of His Word. Only God knows the length
of the hour of America's judgment.
This dream is also a message to the five-fold ministry
of Ephesians 4:11,12 and to the co-laborers for the gospel of the Lord
Jesus Christ. We are to stay completely focused on the Lord and
not look to others or become too overly concerned about their spiritual
welfare to the point of distraction. We are to remain vigilant in prayer
and in our spiritual and anointed calling. And yes, we are to remain highly
sensitive to the Holy Spirit's guidance with humility, obedience, faithfulness,
and perseverance in the strength of the Lord from this time forth with
the remaining time we have left before judgment arrives.
