Do Not Tamper With The Blueprints Of God"
To those of you to whom God has given an idea, vision, plan or dream...Stand!
Know that what He has told you WILL come to pass! If He speaks to go forth,
do so without question. But it is very key that you "do not tamper with
the blueprints." Habakkuk 2:3 is for you. " ... it will speak and it will
not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come and
it will not tarry."
I saw a set of blueprints on a table. It was magnificent. It was as if in a "war room." Many were around the table. The shade of the blue paper the plans were on was magnificent, and the details specific and bold. There was great excitement! However, the more the people surrounding it haggled and explained over the vision, the more the color and the clear definitions on the blueprints diminished, as did the excitement of the people. Eventually, the plans AND people disappeared. I felt this was the interpretation....
The visions, ideas, plans and dreams of the Lord have spirit and life before they are ever shaped by our words. While the Word tells us to "write the vision that they may run who reads it," (Habakkuk 2:3), we must be sure when "writing the vision" that we maintain the original spirit of the ideas of God. We must not permit our own interpretation or definitions to take root in and become part of the life of the original, pure version, unless the Lord Himself has specifically spoken that something be added to the original form. (i.e., as in times when the Lord Himself brings forth a magnified, more detailed version.)
Some of our words add to and promote the plans of God that He reveals to us. Others can bring such confusion that it will completely distort, change and dilute the original version. Such action brings about the "paralysis of analysis" to such a degree that we "dissect" it to DEATH. Thus, in "sharing" the vision, we must be cautious to not so clothe that dream/vision with the use of our words that we cramp, limit, distort or kill it.
Sometimes the mere "feelings" surrounding the vision or dream can better define it than the use of words possibly can. In studying the Bible, for instance, there are "original" definitions to the Greek and Hebrew words used that are better defined by studying the customs and beliefs of the day surrounding the use of the word, rather than the mere use of current day words.
In much the same way, we must not allow that which seems to us to be "the way" in which God will accomplish the fulfillment of it to distort or kill what God has spoken. If God said it, that should be the final word. After all, we want the Isaac, not the Ishmael! The explanation and walking out of God's promises to us needs to be done in the realms of the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit, and in His timing.
When a God-given idea or vision is empowered by the direction and supervision of the Holy Spirit, it is sometimes brought to rapid maturity. Yet when confined by mere words with the opinions, definitions, expectations and supposed realities of man, instant death can be brought to it.
On the other hand, just as fine wine is fermented and flourishes with age, sometimes the ideas of God must be allowed to do the same. When the message of the cross was beginning to be brought forth, Peter took out his sword and cut off one of the soldiers' ears. The situation looked worse as it "aged." The following days seemingly brought forth death and burial of the dream. What a MESS! How could this "mess" possibly be part of the plans of God? However, allowing the "mess" to "age" just one more day brought forth the greatest MESSAGE of all time! Truly, His ways and thoughts are SO much higher than ours!!
In any case, we must maintain an attitude and provide an atmosphere whereby the ideas of God that He gives to us can flourish and abound, not become diminished and destroyed. It's not about us, it's about HIM. Let's not limit Him with our own ideas and words. Allowing the creativity of the Holy Spirit to bring forth what is shown to us by allowing Him to use His Own methods will bear much ETERNAL fruit! - And we won't have to go through a bunch of Ishmaels (fruits of our fleshly doings) to get to our Isaacs (the fruits of God)!!!
