Approaching Thunder

September 25, 2000 Since Saturday I have heard in the Spirit - the sound of "approaching thunder…." The thunder of "hoof beats…" from horses……many, MANY HORSES…. thundering - growing steadily louder.

Tonight in prayer. I was shown this:

A darkened tree-lined corridor sheltering a rough road - rounding a curve is a woman astride a white horse. She is covered by a cloak with a hood, which in her haste, has fallen; her hair streams out behind her, and she is urging the horse, kicking it in the flanks to "move it forward - faster……faster!!"

Next, I see "BIG BEN" and I hear clearly, "THE BRITISH ARE COMING…. THE BRITISH ARE COMING…." A parallel to Paul Revere; only I know that the "term BRITISH" here is merely representative of "THE ENEMY IS COMING…… THE ENEMY IS COMING!" Against the night sky I notice the tall tower of BIG BEN'S clock is illuminated at 11:59. darkness surrounds the tower itself; it is approaching midnight. And the Lord said:

Hear them My daughter? Do you hear the sound of the "approaching  hoof beats?" They THUNDER as they come closer…. For My chosen ones - are "hearing them…" "seeing them" "knowing that they approach…" and the sound continues to increase. The day draws to a close… and "midnight" approaches, the night when NO MAN "will" work; for in Truth, the "ENEMY IS COMING." In these hours - go into your chambers My Children and pray for My Hand of Divine Protection, for My Wings to cover, shield and protect you. LOCK THE DOORS BEHIND YOU! Padlock them if you can…. For I will "shut you in…" and seal you under a seal of protection that NO ENEMY WILL INFILTRATE.

I have "sealed" My warriors, I have locked tightly the doors that the enemy was using to "enter in" and distract those I AM has chosen. I have "presented these" with a double edged sword, a sword of short length - but AFIRE, with the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD! A double-edged sword My daughter, double edged to cut, to sever, to rip open the third heaven for I say unto you - OPEN THE GATES SO THE KING OF GLORY MAY COME IN!

I have awaited this day - this time! I have called out - cried out to so many; but FEW, so very few have come forward…… and said as My servant Isaiah said, "Here I AM LORD….SEND ME!" So few have forsaken all - given up all - lost "self" and been willing to be debased, humbled, and crucified even as I - your Master, was.

Indeed - I AM a "hard taskmaster…" and I will not use those who have set up their "idols" before me - for I CAN NOT~! Where is their loyalty, their fidelity, to their KING? Will they honor and obey ME, and ME ALONE? Or, will they turn "tail and run" at the first skirmish? Have they been THROUGH the "fire of adversity?" Have they stood amidst the flames and been "purified" by the FIRE that "consumes?" but "consumes them NOT?" Have they allowed me to REIGN upon the throne of their own heart? WHO HAS TAKEN UP RESIDENCE UPON THE SEAT OF "MY THRONE" WITHIN THEIR HEART? THAT, is who their allegiance is too. And that, will not save them---will not help them---will not keep the enemy at bay.

Do you hear the sound of the hoof beats? Do you see those I send - to cry out THE ENEMY IS COMING!! THE ENEMY IS COMING!! Do you see the hands upon the clock?

WHAT TIME IS IT - you ask?

IT IS TIME TO BECOME UNITED AS ONE, BENEATH THE CAPTAIN OF THE HOSTS…. IT IS TIME TO MOVE AS ONE UNIT - WITH ONE PURPOSE - FOR ONE REASON!

Listen to the sound My daughter……

For the enemy is here - EVEN AT THE DOOR….

Listen to the sound of hoof beats..

Listen to the sound of the "approaching thunder."

Choose the weapons of your warfare! Are they carnal, OR are they of MY SPIRIT - that "WILL" bring down the strongholds? Where is your focus - WHO DO YOU WORSHIP? When I return, "WILL" I find faith upon the earth? If you attempt to "enter" a stronghold without My having gone before you, you have moved "out" of the Spirit, and into the Flesh…. for does My word not say unto you - I HAVE PREPARED THE WAY BEFORE YOU? If you attempt to "slay the enemy" through vain imaginings and foolish notions - you will be "chewed up" and "spit out" before you have even made it in through the "door!" If you are neither HOT NOR COLD - I will spew you out of my mouth, saith the Lord.

BE ON FIRE FOR YOUR GOD…. Be AWARE that your weapons "ARE" spiritual for the tearing down of those strongholds. Though principalities and powers of the air may appear to have "won the battle," they WILL NOT WIN THE WAR! FOR "I AM" has gone before you, prepared the path so that you are NOT caught in the "crossfire…." but instead have the enemy in your crosshairs!

Where have My people chosen to spend their time, their energy, and on what? Why do they ONLY weep before My altar when "they" face ruination? Only when their own "comfort zones" have been disturbed…. been "shifted…" to where they have become uncomfortable and edgy? I AM "SIFTING" in this day and hour - "sifting" the wheat from the chaff…. And allowing the chaff to be blown away - to trouble you no more. But it is "YOUR COMMISSION" to go "and preach MY GOSPEL!" the GOSPEL of the Kingdom! To fall upon your own swords, if need be, to protect My Sheep… To thrust, to parry, to TEAR DOWN…. so that I may "BUILD" My Temple in MY LIKENESS, and "NOT" in the likeness of a man. Will I SHARE MY GLORY with another, saith the Lord? Will I allow men to continually blaspheme and rebel against me and not notice? Nor judge their true motives…… as shown by their own actions? YOU WILL KNOW THEM BY THEIR FRUITS!! What "fruits" are you seeing? Are you seeing FAITH being forged from adversity, or hearts failing from FEAR? WHEN was the last time you sought to bow before MY WILL and NOT your own?

Choose the weapons of your warfare…. CHOOSE THEM WISELY! For who "IS" this that comes striding in victory before you, eyes aflame, with a sword satiated and filled with the blood of His enemies? Who is this that has gone before you - and allows you to stand FIRM - to stand your ground IN HIM? When you are found "IN ME" there is no enemy that can tear you from My grasp, and no stronghold that won't fall before you. For all who "live by the sword," will DIE BY THE SWORD…… but to die in My service is gain, for whosoever loves his life shall loose it, but whosever looses his life for MY SAKE - shall FIND IT! and WILL reap eternal rewards.

The Lord then gave me the following scriptures to go with this word:

Who is this Who comes from Edom, with crimson-stained garments from Bozrah?* This One who is glorious in His apparel, striding triumphantly in the greatness of His might? It is I, the One, Who speaks in righteousness - proclaiming vindication - mighty to save!

Why is Your apparel splashed with red, and Your garments like his who treads in the winepress?

I have trodden the winepress alone, and of the peoples there was no one with Me; I trod them in My anger and trampled them in My wrath, and their life-blood is sprinkled upon My garments, and I have stained all My raiment.

For the day of vengeance was in My heart - and My year of redemption - the year of My redeemed - has come.

Isaiah 63:1-4

I checked for the meaning of Bozrah in the Bible dictionary and found:

*Bozrah, means "stronghold"
