While in Kenya this month, the Holy Spirit gave me a word for the nation and for His people in the land. This word was delivered first in the town of Kimilili and later in Kitale. I submit this word to the believers in Kenya and to all who pray for that beautiful land.

The Spirit of the Lord revealed 5 things He was about to do in the cities and towns of Kenya:

1. The God of Judgements is about to visit you.
The Lord is setting His plumb line among His people (Isa. 28:17). The Lord is about to visit Kenya and righteousness goes before Him and prepares the way for His steps (Psalm 85:13). The Lord is dividing the sheep and the goats. He will foil the signs of false prophets and make fools of diviners, but He will carry out the words of His servants and the predictions of His messengers (Isa. 44:24-26). The righteous will rejoice in the judgements of the Lord, but the wicked of the land will be put to shame. Judgement is coming first to the household of God, because soon great trial is to come upon the nation. The Lord says, "Be ready."

2. The Lord is Pronouncing Blessing upon His church.
What God has blessed, will be blessed (Numbers 23:8 & 20 ). The Lord is granting favor to His people (Psalm 5:12). Those who laugh at you today, will be coming to you in humility to ask you to show them the way to knowing the Heavenly Father. The Lord will touch even the hardest hearts and this will be a sign to His Church.

3. The Arrogance of Man will be brought down.
The pride of God's people will be humbled. There will be no room in the house of God for anyone to share His glory. The Lord alone will be exalted (Isa.2:17-18). Now is the time to humble ourselves before the Lord.

4. The Lord will Teach His Church to do Battle.
His troops will be willing on the day of battle (Psalm 110:3). He is even now teaching your hands how to war. Don't look to the familiar ways of doing things. Learn how to touch the throne of God in worship and prayer until His scepter is extended to grant you His authority.

5. The Lord is about to Open the Heavens over Kenya.
Already the mercy drops are being felt. The Lord will command the heavens to open and righteousness to rain down (Isa. 45:8). The Lord is giving His Church the favor of Joseph of the Bible. The Church will speak the word of God and the granaries of heaven will be opened to feed the people. They will be fed the bread of heaven that sustains the weary. The Lord hears the cries of the people. He will remove the heavy yoke from around your neck. He will respond in mercy to the cries of the poor, the sick, the oppressed, and the bound.
