The following prophetic message was given to Cornerstone Church- Durango Colorado on the 5th of December by Associate Pastor Ron Bernard. It was read again today by Pastor Shawn O'Reilly, followed by as standing affirmation by the congregation. I [John Ferguson] forward this to you with the belief that this is not just in our region (Four Corners Area) but has been happening in churches around the world- either has been or will be called to arms. Joel 3:9-11 (NKJ) "Proclaim this among the nations: "Prepare for war! Wake up the mighty men, let all men of war draw near, Let them come up. Beat your plowshares into swords, And your pruning hooks into spears: Let the weak say ,'I am strong'". Assemble and come, all you nations, and gather together all around, Cause Your might ones to go down there, O Lord.

December 5, 1999

Even as I have already told your leaders, so I am also telling you, that I have declared war this day, says the Lord! I have declared war against every spirit that has been hindering the full release of my presence, my power, and my anointing. I am specifically coming against religious spirits, the spirit of Jezebel, unbelief, and the fear of man. For I tell you this day that I am tired of the enemy's schemes to thwart my purposes from being accomplished, so I am declaring war against him! Do not think that he has not been expecting this day to come; that is why he has been working so hard to keep you out of the fullness of my Spirit. But now that war is declared, do not be surprised when you find yourself faced by even greater attacks than before; for he will no longer simply send out raiding parties and special forces units to harass you, but he will be committing his legions to the war.

But I tell you, do not be afraid for this is a war that I have declared, and I will lead you into the battle, my people. Now know this: it is time to take up your weapons at to quit thrusting each other through with time, but to take you places. I have already spoken to your leaders that they must first take their places, back to back and shoulder to shoulder, facing outward toward the enemy. Now i call for the warriors to come and take their places around them, also standing shoulder to shoulder and facing out toward the enemy with weapons in hand, ready to fight! I call to my prophets, and I say to you to arise to your calling and take your places upon the towers.

Be silent no longer! Let your voices be heard as you warn of the enemy's attacks and as you listen for my voice to call forth my army into battle. When you are all in your places, with shields up and swords drawn, I will then lead you forth into great spiritual victories over religious spirits, the spirit of Jezebel, unbelief, the fear of man, and every other spirit that dares to stand against my purposes! [Note: While prophesying, I was seeing this amassed army of God (us) rise up from the center (the leaders) first, like an inverted tornado, and fly off into the heavenly realm with swords drawn and a confidence of victory to come.]

You have heard many times my declaration to you of my intent to come as a flood down this valley and over this whole area. I tell you, I will not be stopped from doing that which I said I would do! Today I am giving you the choice to join with me in the battle and to see it all begin in this place. For I will pour out my presence, my power, and my anointing over this area like has never before been experienced! Will you see it begin here, in this place? If so, then arise and take your places this day!
