Will There be Room in the Inn This Christmas ?

Tonight I listened to a chorus and orchestra at the Orange County Arts Center and I was struck by the emotionless singing of the audience who was allowed to participate. There were hundreds gathered for a Holiday Special and most of the music was Christ-centered. This was a VERY traditional celebration, but very lacking in enthusiasm, like people were saying the words without the realization of the meaning of them. and my heart felt so sad at the emptiness. A friend had just sent me a story entitled. "Baby Jesus is missing". And tonight it seemed truly for many Jesus is missing. Our hearts must be broken for the lost and open to receive them with love, not just to get a star on our list of "saves". Last night I was at the international airport at LAX and I couldn't stop praying in tongues as I saw what seemed like hundreds going to Mexico and other nations for the Holidays. I felt such a burden for the lost souls around me it was overwhelming. How GOD the Father must be hurting for those souls to come to Him.

Then as I sat down at the computer tonight, I feel the Jesus had a few things to say.

"I left all that I was and had; and all that I had in relationship to My Father to come to earth and to die for you. And I have this to say to My people who desire to have Me birthed in them. I came to DEMONSTRATE My love and wisdom, and the LOVE of My Father for all mankind, not just to speak of it. "

"While My Spirit moves upon the face of the earth, I have found many sleeping, and I have found many mocking the day of My return. I have found my children fighting against each other instead of fighting the enemy of their souls. However, I am blowing My trumpets of warnings and My trumpets of revelation continually. So many have forsaken their first love, and so many are sleeping, that they will be taken unawares. My Spirit moves across the earth and is always looking for those whose hearts are in desire for union with Me, to speak to. Yet so many are too busy to quiet themselves before Me to seek the communion with Me that I DESIRE.

What is done in the days ensuing will be done in My power and wisdom, in obedience to Me, or it will be consumed, and it will utterly fail to produce good fruit. A tree is known by its fruit, I've told you. Those I use in the days ahead may surprise many of you for I am not looking for 'perfect' vessels as you count perfect. I am looking for those whose HEARTS DESIRE is for ME. My earthly father and mother went looking for a place for Me to be born, and there was no room in the inn. And tonight I tell you, many, still have no room in their hearts for me, for their hearts are in search of worldly success, even though they profess to want to serve Me. For many, the love of money and things, and all that is related to it, takes priority over time with ME. Almost EVERYTHING takes priority over time with Me, yet they delight in praising Me in the sanctuary as a people who knew Me. " (ref. Is 58)

"Doctrines of men are taught as doctrines of My word, when there is no real balance between TRUTH and LOVE in them. Faith , justice, and MERCY are the weightier matters of the LAW that many hold to as if the law brought them salvation. I AM the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE. Yet many today, as in the days of My sojourn on earth, delight to know my Word, yet do not come to Me WHO IS the LIVING WORD. I came to break down the wall that separated you from relationship with Me and My Father. The days are coming that will try all men's souls, so I URGE you My sons and daughters to seek your delight in Me. Time spent with Me is never wasted. If you don't tune your ears to My voice, how will you know which direction to turn to? I will keep him in perfect PEACE, whose MIND is STAYED on Me. TURN YOUR thoughts to ME, My people, and I will direct your paths. Worship Me this Christmas, in the beauty of HOLINESS, and in Spirit and truth. I am about to bring forth a new thing in the earth, and many who have walked in darkness will be turned to Me. Will YOU who are called by My name TURN TO ME? Will you allow ME in your heart this Christmas? Will you surrender your ways to My ways so that MY WILL is accomplished in the earth? Will you surrender to the ONE above all Who loves you as no other loves you? "

I then got the tune to an old song. "Lean on Me, when you're alone, I'll be your Friend, I'll help you carry on.."

"The Lord will JOY over you with singing. "

Let us welcome Him into the home of our own hearts this Christmas and allow Him to be the All-Consuming Fire that consumes all that cannot withstand the test so we can be bearers of His increased glory.
