It's not often I have to do this in an open public forum as I am used to ministering to those in the ministry in different settings, but I feel the Lord wants me to address some serious issues now pertaining to the body of Christ specifically emanating on the Internet. I have walked in a prophetic-pastoral call for over 17 years and am fairly well known to ministries all over the world. Groups spinning out of ours have ministered all over the world, seeing thousands healed and ten of thousands saved. The point being I am not an empty clanging vessel now seeking unwarranted recognition. I am submitted to a known recognized prophetic authority as I speak. JESUS IS LORD!
Seventeen years ago we experienced a revival that shook the very foundations of many of our local bodies of believers. Jesus showed up and took command! For two years everyone prayed for received healing, everyone received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, everyone (without exception) saw visions and heard clearly from the Lord. We had meetings where the presence of God was so intense it was visibly seen and the building was filled with a cloud. Groups of fifty to sixty people were overcome and pinned to the floor - all were spontaneously healed, filled and lay weeping or in fits of uncontrollable laughter. Many visibly saw Jesus Himself and angels in our midst (amazingly most of us saw Him at the same time, in the same place, doing the same thing). During this period of time many of us who were in positions of leadership began to look at the mainline churches and questioned if they were even OF God. Why, we asked, were we being so severely grieving the Holy Spirit? As it is written in 1 Thess. 5:19-20, "do not grieve the Holy Spirit - do not despise prophetic activity;" and again in Acts 1:8, "you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be My witnesses…" And the well known verse out of Joel and Acts proclaims, "And it shall be in the last days, says the Lord, that I shall pour fourth of My Spirit upon all mankind…" So to put it bluntly, by experiential theology WE ALL THOUGHT WE HAD ARRIVED! The scriptures being poured out of the Spirit were powerful - numerous - and amazing. We were all feeling an Ezekiel call (read Chapter 2), and a Samuel call- "not a word shall fall to the dust." I could go on for hours detailing the scriptures as we got to taste the Elijah anointing, feel the power of the prophets and of even Moses as the Lord poured out upon us the early and the latter rains. We actually got to feel and taste the different manifestations of God's dispensations upon His servants. Needless to say, many individuals stopped at the Ezekiel anointing. Those who did usually displayed an unusual need for affirmation, low self esteem problems and this medium usually manifested itself in dysfunctional problems that resulted in their being outcasts or lone prophets with an errant understanding of the fullness of New Testament body ministry. They usually perceived themselves to be a specific prophet or Biblical figure, correlated scripture directly to themselves. This, violates known scripture - 2 Peter 1: 20 "states that no prophecy of scripture is a matter of ones own interpretation." They (or we at that time) displayed an open contempt of current organized religion. In some cases, I can understand why that was, and can empathize fully.
In Samuel we see a picture of Christ in David - a snapshot out of the Old Testament. And even though Saul who represented the flesh in the call persecuted David unjustly and consistently, and did evil in the sight of the Lord, David himself who rightly understood God's authority said to his followers, "I will not raise my hand against God's anointed!" I must admit that this is a long fought and deep battle for those of us who hear from the Lord. For He says, "My sheep hear My voice, they know Me and they follow Me." And when a pastor or preacher violates 1 Peter 4:11, "Let your speech be as it is the very utterances of God," the Holy Spirit in us testifies it is not of Jesus. For He says of Himself, "If I be lifted up - I WILL draw all men unto Myself!" So when we see man made rules and doctrines and truths that sound good prevailing in the church, believe me we ALL cringe inwardly. Remember the sins of the Sons of Thunder, who wanted to call down fire from Heaven on those who would not receive them? We usually equate that with the church and sometimes with good reason. Our Lords response to them was bluntly stated, "You do NOT know what spirit you are of!" This alone was another proof of their immaturity and a Saul like attitude was displayed in their want of Jesus recognizing them and giving them adjacent places or thrones of honor beside Him in which He again puts them back in their place. Later Jesus says, "the greatest among you SHALL BE a servant," and looking scripturally at servants the best of them who served in Kings courts did so with LITTLE OR NO NOTICE! Now notice Simon in Acts 8: 9 who sought to obtain the ministry by fleshly means or motives and the Holy Spirit's response to that situation. Again, in Acts 12:23, we see the demise of Herod for somewhat the same attitude. I am telling you people that under the fullness of the anointing that the earth is about to receive God is NO LONGER going to be playing games! Look at what happens to Annanias and Sapphira in Acts 5: 1! THIS IS ALL ABOUT ATTITUDE! Whenever we promote ourselves it will bring CERTAIN judgment. Later, we see the apostles walking in fullness of the revelation of Jesus - performing great miracles and not once did they testify of themselves, saying, "hey, look at us we are the man!" In fact, quote the opposite is true - they openly downplayed themselves and spoke ONLY of our Jesus!!!! Beware because Jesus warns us explicitly in John 5: 43-44 "not to receive ANYONE who testifies of himself!" And again in John 7: 18 He says, "He who speaks unto Himself seeks his own glory - but He who is seeking the glory of the ONE who sent Him is true….." This openly happens when the apostles heal a man and the crowds are proclaiming of them, "they are god," (Acts 14: 11), and they are actually weeping in their angst saying, "NO! It is JESUS" trying to point the way back to the same source of all we are! The Bible openly teaches that we now have a new name written in Heaven, known ONLY by the Father (you will notice we ourselves don't know)! This also many times has been interpreted as a new label or position - Jesus Himself says to His disciples, "Only the Father knows," and REFUSES to reveal their own position to them! When we see the story of Joseph and the inception of a revelation of God of his position, and his zeal to share it, we see the immediate reaction of God dealing with his flesh. And he soon spends many-many-MANY years learning how to become a true servant and dying to himself.
The Greater the Call - the Greater the Fall!
There is no way around the death of a vision in its application to oneself into achieving the full anointing. What I am trying to say is that with this new anointing being poured forth, many spiritual babies are going to arise and try and proclaim attention to themselves as being "somebody." The LORD says, "Pay NO attention to these!" These people will experience some very real establishing anointing and show some real ministry gifts. But I caution you to follow ONLY JESUS - and allow HIM to give them a few years to change - as it were - their spiritual diapers! Because believe me, in some cases, they will be a deep messy work.
There are "FATHERS IN THE SPIRIT," who have been hidden away in the body for years who are humble, lowly and meek and whom the Lord is causing to rise up to serve us in these Last hours, as scripture teaches, "Seek after those who call upon the LORD with a PURE heart!" 2 Timothy 2: 22. And in 2 Peter 2: 1 it speaks of false prophets arising secretly introducing destructive heresies, exploiting us even with greed, which is always the flesh seeking something which can also rightly be interpreted as "self fulfillment." Peter goes on to say in 2 :18, "they speak in arrogant words of vanity - enticing by fleshly desires." This, in a Christian setting usually comes in a subtle but manipulative way, i.e., "Oh, I am the prophet of God and you are such and such a person" (usually positions of honor) to win over people with low self esteem. Somewhat like Absalom did to David outside the walls as he sought to overthrow the current government by kind words and such. The people, influenced by his demeanor and regal bearing followed him - but look at what happens to him and his followers as God judges them! If we get involved in such deception of self worth, we end up on the wrong side of the battle, even though we have truly seen the depth of corruption inside the four walls of the church. But as our brother James write in 4: 11 and 5: 9, "leave judgment where it belongs in the hands of our LORD!" And again, "not to think too highly of ourselves," Romans 12: 3-10, 14: 3-4, and also Romans 14: 8 and 15: 1 speak to us to have a JESUS ONLY attitude before this awesome Day of the Lord, for He is clearly showing us that in the last move, the awesomeness of judgments upon the land - pestilence, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes - the oceans turning soon - and ecosystem collapse etc., and the final outpouring of His mighty presence that will establish many everywhere to preach Jesus and His coming - in all signs and wonders to testify of Him as Paul writes in 1st Corinthians 2: 1-5, "For when I came to you brethren, I did not come to you with superiority of speech or wisdom proclaiming to you the testimony of God, for I determined to know nothing amongst you except Jesus Christ, and Him crucified and I was with you in fear and in trembling! (Do you see any self confident exultation or boasting here?) And my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words, but in the demonstration of the Holy Spirits power, that your faith should not rest on the wisdom of man, but of God's Power!" And he goes on to say in chapter 4, verse 30, "For the Kingdom of God does not consist of words, but of power!" And again in Romans 15: 9, "in the power of signs and wonders…." And he says the signs of a true apostle were performed in your midst, which is the exact opposite of what he warns us about in Romans 16: 17-18, "now I urge you brethren, keep your eye on those who cause dissension and hindrances contrary to the teaching you have learned - TURN AWAY FROM THEM," for such men are slaves (remember Joseph - his bondage resulted from self glory), not of our Lord Jesus Christ - but of their own appetites, and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceived unsuspecting hearts, (remember Absalom)?
For all the you brothers and sisters in the Lord who are reading this, may the God of ALL PEACE - GUARD YOUR HEARTS AND MINDS IN CHRIST JESUS! And may He, Himself strengthen and perfect you in this FINAL HOUR! Follow No man - our men - FOLLOW JESUS, He ALONE is trustworthy and will show you the way. For I believe in the Lord, that all we have seen and experienced is nothing. For our Lord is COMING and we need to SEEK HIS FACE. In the Beatitudes, we are told "For the pure in heart SHALL SEE GOD!," and we need to get our eyes off His hands, working in our own fleshly gloves, and back to Him where they belong and give HIM ALL our praise and hearts! For the hour is here that the Lord is calling His "true prophets," from the wilderness to fellowship with one another - and our Father is going to pour out His Spirit on them even to the point where (as in the Book of Samuel), Saul was slain by the Spirit and prophesied in their midst. What I am saying is that even the FLESHLY WILL APPEAR SPIRITUAL! Wrong motives, thoughts, agendas, and self promotion, be aware of these things beloved! But REJOICE when He is coming to HIS TEMPLE!! For I saw a wave of GLORY like a tidal wave of God's presence rolling over the land - and God's people were surfing on the top of it, but it was creating a wave of destruction underneath itself as it went and then I saw Jesus standing in the Holy Place and He spoke and said:
Thus sayeth the Lord, "For I AM is about to pour forth My Glory and Power upon this land - from top to bottom, from tip to tip, and I shall leave no stone unturned for I AM the GOD that Healeth thee. For not only shall I bring forth judgment on the land to turn their attention towards Me, but I shall pour forth My Spirit on all flesh, and there shall be no epicenter," sayeth God. "But I am doing a deep work, and NO MAN shall claim My glory," sayeth the Lord! "Nor shall any of your truly grasp it, for this is greater than any man or group of men, and no one shall grasp or taint THIS work with the arm of the flesh, or by their own understanding," says the Lord of Hosts. At this moment, I saw the Spirit of God about 30 feet deep covering the land and His servants - EVERYWHERE - were overwhelmed by Him, and the work of the ministry and harvest were effortless. Everyone was testifying of JESUS, and they could do none otherwise. Faceless ministries were EVERYWHERE! All OVER the earth - ALL at the same time!! And He reminded me of another vision in which Jesus Himself walked into the Temple and began pulling up the twisted beams off the floor in front of the altar of God's presence because they were meant to be the foundations or support network of God's people upon which others could stand to receive, but they had twisted and pulled loose of their proper place and became a STUMBLING BLOCK by drawing attention to themselves. He said to me, "The Temple is not yet ready for My Father's Glory." I then saw several waves resounding throughout the land in which He was saving, refreshing, rebuilding, uprooting, blessing, restoring, establishing, healing, etc. The Spirit of God says, "Line on line, dot on dot, precept on precept."
I have tried to narrow down the scope of this letter as the Lord's anointing has been on me for three days and nights and we could do a HUGH study on the different points He has given me, but I felt the need to just define the gist of it and trust the Lord to reveal the rest to you on your own. We have truly been seeing a visitation from on High and I have personally seen hundreds healed and ministered to by the Holy Spirit in the last month alone; giving GLORY TO JESUS and I have heard Him say, "This is NOTHING but the sprinkling of the rain to come." As Paul says, "When we think we are SOMETHING - WE ARE NOTHING!" Through this process, I have seen Jesus link His people quickly - supernaturally and quickly-and building bridges between us. As the Word says, "The anointing breaks the yoke!" And He is doing it. Have patience for the farmer waits for the early and latter rains - GOD WILL DO IT! Jesus will have His way, trust Him, for only HE is the author and finisher of our faith! And we, by our own efforts, can accomplish nothing. The Lord is causing His body - each part fit together with Jesus as the Head to come forth rightly - as each joint properly provides. I have had a chance to peruse over many of these self proclaimed last day apostle/prophetic writings and have had to conclude that most, if not all of the "Thus sayeth the Lord," stuff is nothing more than a sad platform to try and establish credibility with usually something no more than preaching - a doctrinal point or concept usually is involved - where they TRY to invoke the authority of the Lord. One thing worth mentioning is that Paul, who we KNOW saw Jesus - and who wrote and established most of the epistles of the New Testament - also, not just once, but MANY TIMES - submitted Himself to established authority in and out of the church. In the church to establish his ministry and out to honor God's authority, even in the old glory - though he would not quit testifying of Jesus. Are we greater than Paul? I am not trying to tell you to throw yourselves to the wolves, even David fled for his life!
Hear me O Women of God!
You especially who have been called with the mantle of Deborah, your battles have been twice as deep! Let Me remind you of who judged Israel, who was in authority over the affairs of men, and of God's church! Who sought a woman for a true word of direction from God? The King himself! (Judges 4: 4) And he, knowing the anointing that was upon her, would not act without her. I say to you that the anointing SHALL break the yolk!! Who do you think she was judging and prophesying over - just women? What of Anna in the Temple? And what was she doing there at the time? Was she not called a prophetess? Being thus recognized by the Bible itself? Our God is NOT bound by our legalisms in the church when in the New Testament the daughters of the apostles themselves, walked in the Office of the Prophets. As it says in scripture - "Given unto the body are first apostles, then prophets….." Most churches through the centuries have surmised the Bible clearly tells us that there are WOMEN in these positions! I want to say this clearly, WE THE BODY - NEED YOU! COME FORTH AND BE HEARD!
Do not forsake the gathering of the brethren which is the custom of some. I am not talking about the American cattle stall church mentality, pack 'em in the pews, preach at 'em, get 'em out! I am referring to intimate group fellowships being formed (by God) with like minded people seeking ONLY Jesus and His ministry! This way we can all get anointed cross ministry and all grow in our gifts as the Lord supplies. If the group is dead or devoid of God's Spirit - GET OUT! Find one that is moving with Jesus - or make one - and learn HOW to flow in the River of God's Spirit, not only for your benefit, but for ours - PRAISE GOD!
JESUS IS OUR AUTHORITY! IN HIM WILL WE TRUST! THE TIME IS SHORT!!!
HE IS COMING!!!!!!!!!!!! AMEN!!
