[This article is as appeared in the weekly prayer update by Reuven Doron of Embrace Israel Ministries.]

The following prophetic witness was forwarded to us from our dear friend (and one of our co-workers in Israel) Lars Enarson. It was submitted to him early this year from a member of his Elijah Prayer Army. The writer was somewhat generic, being shaken by the velocity of the message; we submit it for your discernment and prayer:

"I saw a pool of water, nothing special about it except that it was glass smooth. Then I saw a stone fall into the water and watched as the rings spread out, getting larger until they reached the banks. I began to pray: 'Lord, what does this mean?' This is what I believe the Lord showed me:

"The circles represent the cycles that everything runs in. The stone is Jesus Christ. He is the beginning and the end. All things come from Him and are for His purpose. Each cycle has a beginning and an end. These are the cycles I believe God has shown me:

1. We have had a cycle of prosperity, now begins a downward turn. Things will have changed by the end of 1998.

2. The earth will again experience the cycle of birth pains; storms, floods, earthquakes, volcanoes, and more and more natural disasters.

3. There have been many world conquerors in history; some famous, some infamous, all with the same desire: To rule the world at whatever cost! God brought good from evil. God used man's evil intent to bring about His will. This year, another leader will emerge who will want to rule the world. Whether he will be the Antichrist or just an antichrist, I don't know.

4. There will be an increase in deception. More will believe a lie.

5. God is calling for repentance. We are serving other gods. We have put our faith and trust in other things. God is not our source. We are looking to technology, medicine, our station in life, our investments, our business or job. These things are not wrong, they are avenues, or tools, but we are looking to them for our salvation in this life. God has said, "Have no other gods before me."

6. Whatever happens in the world politically will have an effect on Israel."
