I am writing for the first time to convey a dream I had several years ago that I thought would encourage folks in the body of Christ. I realize that dreams are very subjective and I would like to submit this one for any insight or interpretation to the prophets out there okay? In about 1997 I had a dream that was very significant. In the dream I was under- ground inside of a cave much like the topography of a merimac caverns with stalactites hanging from the ceiling. my wife and I were there together. She was sitting in a lounge chair on the beach and I decided to go swimming in the lake that was there. I waded out in- to the water and began to swim. As I began to swim the water seemed to grow choppy, noticing the change I wondered what was happening. As I pondered this the water grew more turbulent, and began to swirl like a whirlpool around me. Becoming concerned for my safety I began to call out to my wife on the shore. She didn't hear me at all so I began to pray softly to myself, "Jesus help me, Jesus help me." As I was praying in this manner the Lord seemed to speak to me and say, "don't pray that way, pray with authority!!" I began to command with authority the water and turbulence In the name of Jesus stop this activity!

Immediately the water began to become calm and I continued to pray. All of a sudden skeletons began to arise from the bottom of this lake, and walk onto the shore. As they walked onto the shore, they began to put on flesh. I was screaming at them as they arose up from the lake and walked onto the shore to turn to the Lord he was their only hope! Then I woke up from the dream and the Lord began to speak to me about what I had seem. The first thing He pointed out to me was that we each as believers have to develop our own personal and intimate relationship with Him, because at times we will be alone and facing many turbulent and dangerous situations. But if we know our God, we will be strong and do exploits in His name at His command. I also think that my wife was representing the intercessors in the dream and that the Lord doesn't want his intercessors "lying on a beach and lounging around unprepared.

I believe that this is a warning and an encouragement to be prepared just like the old boy scout motto says. And moving in his authority we can overcome the turbulent times ahead. We have been given authority and we must exercise it not just to preserve and protect ourselves but to resurrect the dead, the backslidden, the out- casts, the slain, the ones who are captive with the weapons of our warfare which are mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, in our minds, in our families, in our churches, and our communities and nations. We must take a stand in the spirit realm and destroy the works of the enemy! I thank God for my wife and the intercessors as a whole in the body of Christ, but we must as individual believers have our own strong and ongoing intimate relation- ship with Abba, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The Lord has been speaking to me personally for the past 10 years at least to warn the church that we must meditate upon His word day and night and hide His word in our hearts, because the darkness is going to come when no man or woman can work. Speaking of the freedom and liberty we now enjoy to worship, read the word, preach the word, and evangelize without restraint. Saints lets redeem the time and prepare ourselves wisely for what lies ahead, for didn't Jesus say to occupy till I come. Even this is a military statement that we are in a war and we must fight to win!
