To all who have an ear to hear: Rev 2:7, Rev 2:11, Rev 2:17, Rev 2:29, Rev 3:6, Rev 3:13, Rev 3;22

On Tuesday morning Nov. 17th at 5:00am, I was awakened by a dream that I feel was a message from the Lord to the people of America. I feel that this message was especially sent for those of us who would call ourselves middle class Americans. I am not one who has dreams that I can remember often, maybe two or three per year at most. I feel this dream is significant and from the Lord for two reasons.

#1) I have been (humbly) asking of the Lord, to send me dreams and prophetic visions so that I may know the truth of his word, especially as it relates to my generation known as the "Baby Boomers". I am 44 years old, so I fall somewhere at the tail end of this group. Many of us including President Clinton, fall into this category today.
#2) The Lord gave me the ability immediately, to be able to interpret what it's meaning and message were. Up to and including relative scripture.

Judge for yourselves if this message is from the Lord our not, you may know by the way it speaks to your soul, you may know because of an immediate feeling of conviction that you may have. All messages of this type must be approached with great discernment, as each one of us seek to know the truth that will set us free. If it is the Lord's will, maybe you will be lead to offer some feedback or related stories. May God's will be done.

"Waiting on the Hill" the dream

In my dream, I spent the whole day waiting for my son to come so we could attend a planned evening event together. He was due to arrive at 1:00pm and it seemed like I spent the whole day waiting with anticipation for him to come. In the mean time, a couple had come to my home to find work. and they said that they would work seven days a week to make a living. This couple was given no faces, so I could not tell you what they looked like other than to say that they had no particular expression on their faces. Throughout my dream, they would continue to work diligently like robots it seemed, not speaking only working. I looked at the clock and it showed 7:05pm. Where was my son I thought to myself and I began to be worried. What bothered me the most, is that six hours had gone by and I hadn't realized it. It went by so fast and now I was really concerned. I went to the front porch of my home on the hill and I began to watch the road with anticipation. "Where was my son" Why hadn't he called "Then I saw several cars coming together. They came up the hill and went by my home. Cars of various colors and sizes at least three in all. Then soon after, I saw another set of cars. They came up the hill and as they drew nearer I could see that they were all the same color "red, white and blue". They hurried up the hill and rushed by my home. Then from out of nowhere, all of a sudden there were construction vehicles lined up along side the road. Some light blue, others orange in color and I could see some red ones as well. Then I could see another large vehicle coming up the hill, it was pulling something behind it. As it made it's way up the hill I could see the front tires coming off the road. All of a sudden, it was lifted straight up into the air and flipped over backwards in the field next to the road. It was a tragic and bothersome sight. My wife yelled out, " we must help them!". Then I was surprised at all the people that came from nowhere that rushed down the hill to help. I yelled to my wife "no see, we don't need to go down and help, look at all the others who are there to help". But she insisted and she rushed down anyway. Concerned for her safety, I followed down behind her reluctantly. By the time I had gotten there, they had flipped the large truck back up on it's wheels in the field. The top of the truck was exposed and the man trapped inside was so badly injured that they had placed a round cylinder around him, so that all you could see where his hands. There were people at the door window praying with him and all I could here the driver saying was "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus" in a crying voice. He kept wringing his hands together and one voice from my right yelled "he's not going to make it" That is when I woke up with the sound of people crying on my mind.

The minute I woke up, the thoughts of this dream went through my mind and into my heart and I asked myself what does this mean? I new in my heart that I must write it down. It is 5:15 am on the morning of November 17th,1998 and as I write this letter I remember the news I saw last night about the asteroid belt that may hit our atmosphere today. I am thinking about those of us who are working so hard to get by in life, that we have lost track of what time it is. While we wait anxiously for something to happen that will relieve us from our toil.

"Waiting on the Hill" the interpretation

I believe that this is the interpretation of this dream, sent from heaven. May the Holy Spirit within you bare witness to the truth. My son represents the elusive riches of this world. We spend much time anxiously waiting for it, but it seems to never come. Then, as we grow older, we look at the clock and our surprised because time has gone by so fast. The lord lead me to this scripture.

Psalms 49:12-14 " But man despite his riches, does not endure, he is like the beasts that parish. This is the fate of those who trust in themselves, and of their followers who approve of their sayings. Like sheep they are destined for the grave and death will feed upon them" The house on the hill, represents everyone's dream home in America. The couple who came to my home, represent the middle class families in America who are having to work harder and harder for less and less. The Lord lead me to this scripture: God's rebuke of Adam and Eve for having eaten the forbidden fruit. Genesis 3:17-19 " cursed is the ground because of you, through painful toil, you will eat of it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you and you will eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground , since from it you were taken, for dust you are and to the dust you will return." The first set of cars that came, represent the generations that have gone before us, who have sacrificed much so we could enjoy the freedoms we have today. These were generations of great strife and diversity. The second set of cars that were red, white and blue, represent America today, all filled up with itself and in a great hurry to go nowhere. The speed in which these vehicles went by, represents the hurried pace of life that we now have. We are always in a hurry it seems, not knowing for certain why. The construction vehicles represent the changes that are about to take place upon the earth. The Lord lead me to this scripture: Haggai 2:6-7 " This is what the Lord Almighty says:" In a little while I will once again shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land. I will shake all nations and the desired of all nations will come and I will fill this house with glory says the Lord Almighty." The vehicle that flipped over, represents each of our lives, we are currently towing baggage behind us that needs to be discarded. We are so consumed with events of the day and pursuing the house on the hill, that we have lost track of why we are here and what our purpose for living is in the eyes of our creator. The Lord is about to send events into our lives that will cause us to focus soley on him. The man in the truck, represents the outcome of this shaking for some, and all of those circled around him represent the saints who have been interceding in prayer on behalf of the lost. The Lord lead me to this scripture: Job 16:20,21 " My intercessor is my friend, as my eyes pour out tears to God, on behalf of man he pleads with God as a man pleads for his friend." What bothered me the most about this dream was the way I reacted to the couple who were in need of work and to the tragedy of death that was unfolding before my very eyes. I was not compelled to go out of my way to lend a hand until I could see that my wife was in danger. That is when I finally rushed down off from the hill to help out. I feel that my attitude in all of this, represents many Christians in America today. We are not compelled to take a stand based on our faith until someone we know and love has been personally effected by it. Then we will rush down form our hills and help out, only to find out that it was to little to late. The Lord lead me to this scripture: Luke 10:40-42 " But Martha was distracted by all the preparations that had to be made. She came to Jesus and said: " Lord, don't you care that my sister has left me to do all the work myself? Tell her to help. Martha, Martha the Lord answered, you are worried and upset about many things, but only one thing is needed. Mary has chosen what is better and it will not be taken from her." In this message there is great encouragement for the lost and for those who have turned their backs on Christ for a time. Although the truck driver represents all of those who have not none Jesus or turned their backs on him, it also represents God's amazing grace. In his final hour with death near at hand he called upon the name of Jesus and this was his reply: Romans 10:13 " for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Does this mean that we continue to live our lives the way that we currently do? I will let each one of you be the judge of that. I say not, for not everyone may get the same chance this truck driver got to call upon the name of the Lord and be saved. Many will be taken from this world in an instant. We must change our lives now, and answer the call of Christ. We must reach out to those God has placed in our lives who are lost or distracted. We must continually encourage one another to " run the good race and to keep the faith" For our time is ever shorter and the return of our Lord and savior is very near.

Special note: Keep an eye on Indonesia for what is happening there and about to happen, is representative of what is about to take place throughout the world. Be forever in prayer and ask the Lord to have mercy on our nation and our families.

Romans 11:22 " Consider therefore the kindness and sternness of God. sternness to those who fell, but kindness to you, provided that you continue in his kindness. Otherwise you also will be cutoff." Barry Bowers (Saturday 11/21/98)
